Dr. Waits and the whole staff were excellent. The whole process from start to finish was perfect.

Dr. Waits replaced my right knee in March 2022. He explained the procedure in detail and answered all my questions patiently and honestly. The procedure was scheduled during my first appointment. His office and pre procedure staff are all very friendly, caring and efficient. The follow up was also very easy with X-rays being done at the time of appointments. I am so pleased with the results.

I had a totally knee replacement on my right knee September 2022. I am so pleased with the results. Dr. Waits is a professional who explains the problem clearly and his plan to fix the problem. He patiently answered all my questions and set me up for success. I appreciate the multiple visits during the first year to ensure I healed well. The convenience of having the X-rays completed right in the office was a blessing. The entire staff was kind and helpful.

Dr Waits explained the procedure and told me the pain in my right shoulder that I had for ~5 years would be gone and it was. He is just a “regular guy” with an amazing talent. Dr. Waits is an exceptional surgeon and if you leave his office not completely understanding your procedure and recovery it is because you weren't paying attention. He goes over everything until there should be no question regarding your care. HRH is fortunate to have a surgeon of his caliber on staff

I’ve had both my knees replaced , one in Terre haute , the other in Danville with dr waits There is no comparison to how much better it was going to dr waits He is part of a total team effort When your appointment is at a specific time, you are seen at that time . The surgery itself was so much better , the pain management was top notch I would recommend to anyone to go to dr waits Hands down a totally different and for the better experience with dr waits

My first visit was memorable. I needed shoulder surgery and Dr Waits explained everything to me in terms that I could relate too even drawing me a diagram so show me what was going on. Surgery went very well and that was 9yrs ago. In 2021 I needed knee replacement surgery and went to him and was very comfortable in the surgery. It also went well and if I need any more surgeries of the kind will most definitely go back. I would highly recommend Dr Waits to anyone that needed help.

Dr Waits is an excellent surgeon. I had been told from another surgeon I would need 3 surgeries to fix my shoulder, after a fall. I was referred to Dr. Waits he done one total reverse shoulder replacement with bone graft. I had no pain at all and went home the same day. Flew to Florida 6 weeks after. Dr Waits is a compassionate and caring Dr who is all about his patients. Dr Waits enjoys his position as a surgeon and he is the absolute the best at what he does. I am very fortunate to be established as his patient. My shoulder replacement went very smoothly because of his care.

Absolutely! My left shoulder prevented my favorite activities, had lost strength, and was rapidly getting worse. Dr. Waits did a full replacement and now a year later I have full use of my left shoulder for work, competitive sailboat racing, and unrestricted workouts at the gym. The Hendricks Regional Health team, including their excellent physical therapy department, were great. Personable and professional the Hendricks Team gave me a new pain free shoulder able to do all the tasks I ask it to. Thank you, HRH! More specifically with regards to Dr. Waits, he was recommended to me by others who had had and seen difficult shoulder problems. He was thorough in his preparation; communicated his analysis and plans; no surprises. I felt he cared about me personally. I really like the guy. Should I have problems in the future with my right shoulder I will definitely go back to Dr. Waits to do whatever is required.

Dr. Waits performed a complete knee replacement on my left knee, and it has gone absolutely great! He and his staff have answered every question my wife and I have asked and explained the procedure, the recovery and the pre operation requirements. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone with a knee problem. I am currently seeing him for a diagnosis and treatment for a shoulder issue and have full confidence in him for the best option to my problem.

Extremely pleased with Dr Chad Waits' services. Regardless where I reside in the U.S., Dr Waits will be my first choice for joint replacement and/or surgery. I am now able to easily walk six to eight miles each time (average 4 times per week.)

My knee has hurt for years and gotten to the point that I limped all the time. Dr. Waits fixed it! Im so grateful that I now am pain-free and walking great! He and his staff are wonderful and I would recommend him any time.

I was having a lot of knee pain and Dr Waits did a total knee replacement. Wish I would have went to his sooner. He is very personable, listens to your issues. Any Orthopedic issue I have will be with Dr Waits. Awesome surgeon.

Operated on my knee and yet one year later, an MRI revealed all of the same problems. Dismissive of my multiple complaints of post-op pain, even when I cried in his office--simply called pain "subjective." Now almost two years on, I still have tremendous knee pain and will have to start over with a new doctor.

Went in Jan.13th for a left knee total replacement. Dr. Waits explained exactly what would take place. Went home after 10 hours and from there went to therapy in the following weeks. It has been six weeks and the knee is like new. He is a very exceptional surgeon.

Dr. Waits is an excellent surgeon and done a great job repairing my rotator cuff in my right shoulder.

Dr Waits did a complete knee replacement on my left knee in May of 2019. I could not have asked for anything to go any smoother or easier. Dr Waits and everyone in his office treated me with the utmost respect, you could tell everyone genuinely cared. Three mos. ago May of 2020 Dr Waits replaced my right knee which was also a positive experience. Actually I scheduled that surgery approximately 6 mos after my 1st surgery because I wanted to be pain free. Now I am completely pain free, I had forgotten how that felt, it had been so long ago. Dr Waits came highly recommended by my neighbor after her knee replacement. She really didnt have to say anything except give me his name because I watched her speedy recovery for myself and I knew he was the Dr I wanted and needed. I couldn't be more pleased with Dr Waits or his staff.

Dr.Waits has done hip replacement on my Father, ACL and meniscus surgery on my Son who is now starting for his college football team and has just completely replaced my mother's knee. We trust this man completely and are grateful for him!

Dr Waits is a wonderful doctor, I wrongly judged Dr. Waits before and I know it was because of the pain I was in and the old saying is no pain no gain and so I understand now he was trying to get me off the pain medicine. I would not let any doctor work on my knees but Dr. waits

I had my ACL reconstructed by Dr. Waits. He and his staff are outstanding. I’m back to playing sports and doing all the things I did before. Thanks!!

Very knowledgeable doctor! He is friendly, and has good bedside manners! I was very pleased with how I could move my shoulder after surgery! I would highly recommend Dr. Waits for any Orthopedics surgery you might need to get done! He cares for you even after a year for check up!

Dr. Waits operated on my shoulder for a rotator cuff tear. I had heard horror stories of rotator cuff surgery and recovery. However, I had a wonderful experience. Dr. Waits was wonderful and I now have a normal shoulder again!

Dr. Waits is a fantastic doctor. He operated on my knee and I have been pain free for the first time in years! I have seen other surgeons but he is the most thorough and caring, really included me in the decision process.

Doctor Waits is a great doctor and has taken wonder care of my mom. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. The only issue is the front desk staff, Michelle. We were on time, signed in but Michelle ignore the sign in sheet, spent 20 minute jaw jacking with a friend of hers instead of doing he job. Michelle also jumped her friend ahead of my mother.

Dr. Waits replaced my left shoulder using a reverse replacement technique & have gotten complete ROM. There was much inconvenience(immobilization post op) & a long period of PT., but the outcome was 100% satisfaction. He attempted to do the same for my right shoulder, but because of MY procrastination he could only do a hemi - replacement. Altho' I have had "issues" with it & return trips to PT, I in no way fault him & am NOT in any pain. He's a good listener and problem solver. A++++

I had a total knee replacement over two years ago by Dr. Waits ,he did a great job. If the other one goes bad I won't hesitate to go back to him.

I had a failed knee replacement by Dr. Waits. 16 months of absolute misery with no answers. Following 16 months therapist suggested 2nd opinion to a well-known Orthopedic surgeon. My leg was left completely distorted following the knee replacement causing a severe limp and constant backaches. I just had knee revision and am doing great.

I have had four scheduled appointments with Dr. Waits and had to leave two of them for excessive wait time. The first appointment I waited for an hour past my scheduled appointment. I finally had to leave because I needed to return to work. When I told the staff I was leaving they said "Okay." and watched me leave. The second time this happened I waited 55 minutes. When I politely told the staff to take me off the list. She just stared at me and didn't say anything - not one word.

Dr. Waits is compassionate, caring, and a great surgeon. Just last year, he gave me a total knee replacement and I couldn't be happier with his work and my new knee. In fact, next month, he will do surgery on my other knee (another Total Knee Replacement). I highly recommend Dr. Waits. He is excellent.

Dr Waits has been very wonderful with me and my family. He spends enough time with us to fully explain what is wrong what we need to do to improve the problem and why it needs to be done that way, He has removed my left leg above the knee and replaced and reversed my left shoulder, all due to arthritis. He always listens to my concerns and those of my husband and puts our concerns at rest, He is compassionate and caring besides being a very capable and an professional an excellent surgeon.
