He is never on time, never apologizes for disrespecting my time, doesn’t bother to look at his notes to remind himself of my basic information, asks the same basic questions that have nothing to do with my mental health at every visit, doesn’t look up, and talks about himself more than me during the appointment. In a high-demand profession that is extremely difficult to find someone accepting new patients, I have felt held hostage because I am dependent on medication. At this point I’m willing to risk not having meds rather than go back to him.

They limit appointment to 15 minutes and just pump you full of pills for a $200 appointment then eventually tell you to go to detox because what they caused MALPRACTICE

Not very personable at all. Seems not very caring. Charged $200 for a half an hour visit. Asked me what I expected Hendricks Therapy to do for me. Asked me what was written on my shirt that was partially covered by my jacket. Felt worse coming out of there than I did before.

Melissa the front staff is rude and unprofessional. She needs to worry about her own issues. Refuses to give the dr. Information. The cost keeps going for a rude lady to not do her job professionally. The dr. is ok. He will give you what you need but maybe a little to easy.

Dr. Mulinix is a good listener. However, if you are looking for a provider to explain things with transparency, look elsewhere. Over the past year, I was misdiagnosed, tried a few different medications that didn’t work in the first place (most of them being far too expensive) and felt like I was not in control of my own health and well-being. If you choose Dr. Mulinix, be prepared to ask open ended questions to get a more complex answer, and say something if you do not like the answer given. I have moved on from Hendricks Therapy, THANKFULLY.

This guy couldn't look you in the eyes to save his life. He's constantly going over his session times and I've never been called in less than 15 minutes after I was scheduled to be in there. Insisted on giving me the maximum of all meds then downplayed my concerns when I was hit with intense and life-altering side effects. He does this for a paycheck - simple and sweet.

Great Dr. He is nice,sympathetic, and listens.He has helped me greatly.

Was the “on call” doctor for my brother who went to the ER and then sent to the stress center, he was turned away and sent home. By Dr. Mulinix...10 days later he Commited suicide. I don’t know that him being admitted could have changed his outcome. But no on call doctor should turn away a patient who is saying they are suicidal!

Dr. Mullinix is a psychiatrist and treats depression as a disease. The medication that was subscribed was very successful, much more successful than what I received at my GP. I had not had depression/anxiety before. He is quiet and focused on writing notes. However, he is also trying to develop a medical treatment plan at your first visit so primarily listens and then recommends treatment.

after reading other reviews i was sceptical and not sure i would be satisfied with my care..after my visit i am so glad i found him he is absolutely kind, caring ,and very respectful i would recommend him and his team to any body in need of treatment i and my family thank you so very much.. Even thou its my first visit i already feel like im getting a fresh start.. Thank you the Mcghee family

Paid this guy thousands never looks up at you doesn't listen. Save your time go to Dr Krause in Plainfield this guy is a quack I think he made me worse

Very aloof, never looks up while you're talking. Terrible personal skills

Very cold personality. He seems to know medicine but I just wasn't comfortable sharing personal issues with someone who barely even looked up from his note taking when I talked during our brief appointment. I don't need anyone to hold my hands and coddle me but when it comes to a psychiatrist I do need someone who can provide a safe, therapeutic environment so I can open up if I need to and for me Dr. Mulinix did not provide that...
