Dr. Chantal Francoise Nouvellon

My daughter had crippling anxiety and could not go to school. Dr. Nouvellon cured her with medication and therapy and my daughter was able to attend school. For month she was too afraid to get to school and we use to spend 2-3 hours trying to calm her down and get to school : then she would refused to enter the school and no matter what we did she could not get in the building. When Dr. Nouvellon saw her she figured out a way to change her treatment and help us take the steps to get her inside the school.

She treated my daughter's anxiety that stopped my daughter from attending school. With new medications and therapy she got her back to school and my daughter was able to finish all her classes and graduated.

I had the worst experience in my life one she makes you wait half hour or more after scheduled appt. How dare a physician tell someone to keep quiet you are too loud. I felt she was the rudest physician I have ever encountered in my life

terrible doctor, scam artist. Had me pay up front then charged my insurance company. Going to COURT because this Doctor is so unethical she is not returning our money. Have the Attorney General involved as well.. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I called on Wednesday and got a call back on Thursday and was able to be seen on Saturday: she was patient and spent 1.5 hour with me to gather all my history and then spent time explaining what I had. She is very knoledgeable and kind.

Please review this complaint from the Commonwealth of Mass, and make an informed decision BEFORE seeing this Dr. put www. in before the next line psychsearch.net/psychs/ma/04-11-xx.pdf I WISH I went with my gut after reading it, and NOT made an appt for my daughter. Fast forward to my issue, 2 months ago my daughter went to see this Dr. prior to seeing her that day, we had to pay the balance left on our deductible, BEFORE she was able to be seen (over $350) which I did, WITHOUT hesitation. After the claim was processed, and PAID - I have asked for a refund. *We MAXED our deductible and out of pocket expense PRIOR to this appt, yet it was a timing issue* - so I expected to get refunded as I had in the past with OTHER doctors PROMPTLY. The dr. was paid through my insurance for that visit. My daughter had 2 other visits (which have been paid at 100% through my insurance). Th Dr. refuses to refund the money from the first visit as she is waiting to see what they pay for the other 2 visits. I have sent her screenshots of all claims processed at FULL payment, yet she still will not provide a refund. As of today, she had threatened to BILL ME FOR HER... (lol, I DID ALL THE WORK) time "calling my insurance company to expedite the 'actual payment'" Not only is this completely UNPROFESSIONAL - I'm sure it is NOT the type of relationship my insurance company wants to have as a contracted provider and I will be filing a complaint today. Needless to say, my daughter won't be returning. I gave 2 stars INSTEAD of 1, because the reason my daughter went there in the first place was to have her medication monitored - the dr. did that.

great experience, she saved my son's life from his opiate addiction and got him on vivitrol and he has done well, working and taking classes.

I'm so heartbroken to see bad reviews of Dr. Nouvellon because she is fantastic! I was so nervous going into my appointment thinking I had a certain mental disorder but as soon as I brought it up she immediately dismissed it and also gave me the reasoning why. She asks all the right questions, explains medication so well, and also made me feel so comfortable. To those who were mad that she left when they were late, that's on you! She was there and ready and you weren't, good for her!

Poor communication and willingness to listen

Do not associate with this person. She is the rudest, most condescending "doctor" I've ever dealt with. She never showed up to an appointment, despite what she wrote on the card (but blamed me because she's so self righteous). Not long after, I was running late to an appointment because of traffic, arrived about 10 minutes late and she refused to see me (despite there still being 20 minutes left). I was told to go to inpatient, and she shut the door in my face. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

Very rude. Impatient. Condescending.. Would not recommend.

She treated me for addiction to opiates and allowed me to get off within 2 months she is the best doctor I have ever had.

She is rude, she screws up appointments, doesn't really care about your fears or concerns, 2 different times she gave me an appt when she was closed and had to go a week without my medication not to mention she has written my prescriptions wrong and had to wait days to sort it out and getting a hold of her office can take days sometimes, there are better doctors out there i suggest you find one

I think Dr. Nouvalon truly cares about her patients, she goes above and beyond to help them. I have only been seeing her a few months and I travel an hour to see her because I feel she is someone who understands issues I am going through and treats patients on a wholistic approach. I have started exercising again etc. I am not the only one who feels this way, since I started to see her everyone including family and friends think I have been doing so much better!

Did not seem friendly (her assistant was great however). Was 5 minutes late to an appointment due to a bad accident holding up traffic, and she immediately dismissed me. Wait time isn't great (I guess it's ok for her to be late). I would avoid at all costs.
