I have been going to doctor parent now for over 20 years and I have never had any reason to complain. Dr. Parent has always treated me with respect and dignity.

I saw Dr. Parent for over 10 years. However, today, is my last day with him as my Primary doc. I called his staff for a refill. The office mgr returned my call, and told me I required an office visit because it was over a year since my last appt; because of the covid-19 outbreak, a phone visit with Dr. Parent is required. I told her I was fine; and pointed out my insurance would invoice me a doctor's visit for $205, for a call lasting less than a minute (literally); for a med refill that costs $7.00. I asked ...can anything be done to lessen the billed amt. She yelled, "NO, NO, NO..Mr. *, YOU ARE NOT DRIVING THE CART, I AM" I asked why you are raising your voice and speaking to me in that tone. I said, I remind you I am the patient, I am the customer, you don't have any right to talk to me in that tone. She continued to rant, so I hung up. I recommend find a good doc with a good staff; there are plenty. Her actions are what is wrong with med today...the patient does not matter.

Dr. Parent is caring and compassionate, he takes time to listen. Very important nowadays when most doctors block 10-15 minutes with you. Dr. Parent is down to earth, talks to you on your level.

I was taken on as a patient and brought completed med list to first appointment and given to staff where it was put in my record. The Dr filled my pain med for me after first appointment. All my meds that I had been on for over 6 years were in my record there for past 2 months and 3 visits there. Today he said I must have slipped through the cracks as he wasn't taking anyone new on the med I was on and he also said the girls up front told me that when I initially called for my first appointment. They did not. Also, the dr. seeing my complete med list on all visits and not saying a word about not taking me on or having a problem with any of my meds, even asking if I needed any refills and filling them, told me today he would not fill my pain med after one more time and that the girls told me his policy before my first visit which obviously was not so or I would have not gone there. He could have EASILY said at my first visit that he could not take me on but he did not.

Very great doc! Kind and concerned whenever it is needed. Does not waste time or keep you waiting. Best doctor I have had !

The staff is impossible to deal with, you'll never get a call back. And watch your bill, they charge for some kind of counseling at every visit even though no counseling took place

I've been with Dr Parent for many years. I am a Registered Nurse. As a DO he knows his stuff. He listens to what you ask and have to say. He spends time with you, going over everything in one visit. I do plan to wait for my appointment. I try to get the first morning appointment, but then I remember that he takes his time with me so he must take time with his other patients. I'll wait he's worth the wait. I get a lot of knitting done on the days I see him. I'll stick with him.
