After having him deliver 3 of my children, I never ever thought I'd be here posting this. Dr. Salazar is responsible for not just my son's malpractice, but also many others. We found this info when we were looking into suing for malpractice and ultimately made the choice to move forward as this MUST be stopped. My son's case was preventable. December 17, 2018. I went in for an NST. It was non-reactive. Dr. Salazar instructed me to return to community south that afternoon for another NST, which was also non reactive. He then kept me and induced. My son's heart rate dipped MANY times, indicative of a clear emergency. I should've been taken for an emergency c section but was instead left to continue laboring. When my son was finally born, he came out very white and blue/purple. His eyes were swollen shut and that lasted for 2 WEEKS. Yet they all assured me it was just bruising from birth and he was just fine. He was far from it. He was placed in a coma and passed 3 different times. Later we found out it was due to HIE, a lack of oxygen and blood flow to his brain. Something that they could've prevented. Please please please be careful. I have been going to him since 2008 and it’s sad because honestly he’s a great doctor. He’s just beyond loaded with patients and the office staff can never get things straight with my medical history. I’ve had to explain twice that I don’t have a child because I miscarried at 6 months…9 years ago at that. And they have me in the system with abnormal bleeding I don’t have abnormal bleeding I have constant and sometimes horrific cramps that can keep me up. I went through a procedure that I honestly don’t think I needed to go through and wish I wouldn’t at this point because again they brought up the abnormal bleeding. It’s just sad again I say that because I don’t feel it’s his fault it’s just the fact that they are bombarded with patients. I was a patient of Dr. Salazar’s during my first pregnancy. I ended up switching to another provider around 20 weeks because his cervix checks were excruciatingly painful. Unfortunately he ended up delivering two of my children. The nurses at the hospital all spoke about him and how he pushes women into medical procedures they don’t need. This was proven true when he wanted to break my water without medical need. He checked to see if I was dilated enough, and when I wasn’t he tried to force his fingers through my cervix. I was bawling and pushing away from him on the hospital bed. He wanted to insert a balloon to force my cervix to dilate. When I said absolutely not, he got very rude and huffy like I was an inconvenience to him. The nurse in the room stated that he throws tantrums if labor doesn’t go fast enough. Mind you, I had only been induced 8 hours prior so it was not a very long time. I am now pregnant again and changed practices all together. I can’t risk having another labor with Dr. Salazar on-call. My last labor was so traumatic, I hope no one else experiences what I went through.

With Cov-19 going on this office has forgot about empathy when it comes to being pregnant. Being a high risk. Basically told to shut up until bloodwork was done until anyone would talk to me. I had 2 major surgery’s one if I get information would lead me back in hospital. I had to find out my bloodwork online then someone calling to tell me bad news or even then what about my concerns. Best OBGYN I’ve ever had! So caring & actually cares what I have to say instead of telling me how things will be. Has delivered my last two babies and did tubal removal surgery for me. He’s great and I recommend him to everyone.

Did a great job at delivery! No cutting and very minimal ripping! Great Dr!

Dr. Salazar and his team were amazing for me! Everyone from the front office staff to the behind the scenes people truly cared about helping me however they could. Stacy went above and beyond to help with short term disability paperwork that I know was annoying and Dr. Salazar listened to me and actually fixed my concern instead of trying to treat with medicine. I recommend this practice wholeheartedly!

Poor bedside manner. He did not care to listen to my concerns. Basically disregarded me and rushed my appointment. It was a highly upsetting experience. I will not subject myself to that unprofessional situation again. I have found another OBGYN.

Never EVER on time!! No point in showing as to when your appointment is scheduled!! My time is important too! If your running late the least you could do is call and let me know!! Or reschedule my appointment!! I find it rude and disrespectful!!

My daughter had exploratory surgery by Charles Salazar. On Tuesday. My daughter started having severe abdominal pain Wednesday evening. After calling Salazar's office to tell him of her discomfort, the office stated that Salazar ordered pain medication. But when we went to pick up the meds, no order was placed. Luckily, the office NP was still in the office and called in some pain meds. Salazar never returned my daughter's phone calls or even called to checked up on her. Friday morning at 4am, my daughter was rushed to the emergency hospital in New Whitestown, and from there she was transported to Witham hospital in Lebonan Indiana, where they performed emergency surgery. My daughter's colon was perforated and all her stool had leaked out all around her organs. My daughter almost died! If they were 1, possibly 2 hours later, I wouldn't be holding my daughters hand right now! My daughter is full of infection. She lost 6 inches of her colon and now has a cholostomy bag for up to 4 months. She's still not out of the woods yet, and probably Dr. Charles Salazar, I hold you completely responsible! You were completely careless and horribly uncaring about my daughter! How dare you! How dare you put my daughter through so much because of your carelessness! Amazing staff, caring nurses and doctors, the nurses at the front desk very friendly understanding and remember who you are everytime you come in. It feels great to have an amazing staff and an amazing doctor all at the same place and all that care deeply about what they are doing. I love my obgyn doctor he has helped me with my health in so many ways ans has done so many different thibgs to try and figure out the source of my pain problem. I recommended recomened alll of my family and friends to Dr Salazar. The Best Doctor in the world !!!

Just have to say that the nurse Staci and Nioka (Sp) are absolutely amazing at this office! I am pregnant after a spontaneous preterm birth so as a precaution I need to have progesterone injections. Staci has worked tirelessly to get this taken care of with my insurance, my insurance being a huge pain in the rear! she had kept me informed every step of the way and has even apologized for issues with my insurance and the companies that are beyond her control. I am very satisfied with everything she has and continues to do to try and get me the needed medication. :) Just have to say that the nurse Staci and Nioka (Sp) are absolutely amazing at this office! I was super nervous at first, due to Dr. Salazar being male but was very surprised with how comfortable he made me feel. He and his staff were all so friendly and reassuring. I would recommend Dr. Salazar to anyone!

He wants the best for you and your baby. He's very caring and will order as many tests as possible to make sure you're healthy.
