Christian C Obah

In my experience, this clinic serves narcotic dependent people who have been refused further meds from reputable physicians. The clinic does document your injuries but chronic injury should not be treated with unending opioids. I’m interested in contacting the University of Utah to find the details of Dr Obah and their department of Anesthesia.

Obah is doing his best to help people. The staff have issues with prior authorizations and don't always get back to you when a message is left and they have strict policies which are a bit more bizarre than most clinics I have been to but overall they are good, caring people who are doing their best to help their patients. I was scared to get the injections but they have been helpful and Obah and the other prescribers are good communicators.

Dr. Obah is an excellent physician who listens to you and genuinely cares about his patients!

Dr Obah is a very helpful. I would recommend him to anyone needing pain management or help recovering. He is not only great at what he does he is kind and compassionate and willing to help. The thing I love most is he is always trying to find new and better ways while still holding on to traditional time tested methods.

I have been receiving shots in my neck and upper back from Dr. Obah since 2007. He is the most thorough, caring, professional provider I have ever seen. He really cares about his patients. He is concerned about their overall health and always seeking new innovative ways to treat pain. Dr. Obah treatments have given me back a quality of life that I thought was lost. His office manager and his M.A. staff are very kind and professional.

I have been to pain management Drs since 2003. Dr Kris Obah is by far the most caring and compassionate Dr I have ever encountered. Dr Obah and his entire staff believed from the first visit to my last that the patient and the care plan always comes first. He consistently reviews past medical history to ensure each person has the correct care plan and that we are not just throwing medication at it as a bandage. They all want to ensure progress at every opportunity. Caring, Compassionate, Respectful and always willing to listen regardless of the circumstances. I won't trust anyone but Dr obah. He is absolutely amazing and a very caring compassionate human who just happens to be the best doctor ever.

Dr. Christian (Kris) Obah, M.D. is uncommonly kind, decent, and genuine. I believe he genuinely cares that his patients receive the best care he can provide, and that their quality of life improves because of his treatment. Dr. Obah is knowledgeable, bright, and answers questions and concerns thoroughly. I've been so impressed with his considerate care and the way he actually listens to what I'm saying (a rarity among today's doctors) and allows me to be the professional about myself (while he's the professional about pain management medicine), that I've followed him from the conclusion of his fellowship at U of U, to a clinic in Ogden, and now to his clinic in Kaysville. I've recommended him to dozens of friends, family members, and acquaintances over the nine years I've been his patient. Yes, Lifespring Pain Management has had serious issues in the recent past with staffing, wait times, and quality of care (from some of the staff). I've witnessed implementation of significant changes (additional providers, expanding the clinic's size and quantity of exam rooms, quadrupling restrooms, doubling the waiting area, moving to entirely digital charting, and :::installment of a superb administrator:::). I see these investments in the practice as more examples of Dr. Obah's genuine concern for his patients. Dr. Obah is multi-lingual. Nigerian by birth, he's fluent in several languages including Spanish and English. He makes significant effort to understand and to be understood. I've been a Registered Nurse for 31 years, and have phenomenal trust and respect for Dr. Christian Obah on a professional level and as his patient. I trust him. He actually listens to what I'm saying (a rarity among today's MDs). I've been his patient for 9 years, following him when he completed a fellowship at U of U. I'm an RN--I trust Obah professionally. Danna Schow is wonderful! She listens to not only details of my pain management but me and my overall life care. She discusses alternate activities that I can do to improve all areas of my life, thus minimizing my pain control and the depression and anxieties that can add and exacerbate my pain. She is a great listener and always offers her opinion when asked. She is smart, informative, compassionate, and kind. Everybody needs a Danna Schow!!!!

Although they are very busy, the clinic truly takes time to know me and to understand my pain needs. Doctor Obah and the great staff took several angles to treat my pain issues and to get me back to functioning at a high level at work and with spending quality time with my family. They also have access to other modalities that treated my pain rather than to just prescribe pain medication. I'm very thankful I was referred to Lifespring.

Worst experience of my life. I would never recommend this man who calls himself a Dr. to anyone. He put me in more physical pain than I have ever had... I have 5 kids. Now when I have to go in for a procedure, I have to be put under sedation because of what the man did to me. He dug and dug and DUG, then said I would hear a small pop.... He couldn't do it, and finally gave up. How on earth did he pass through the U of U internship???

Scheduling is terrible. You won't get a phone call back, ever. You will show up for a procedure to be told they haven't requested authorization by your insurance.

Dr. Obah, was attentive, listened to me, was objective and extremely helpful. He was sympathetic and encouraging! I have been so happy with him as my doctor!

Dr. Obah is very accurate and has been since ive seen him. After my treatment today, I have no pain and better control of my foot drop. hes very personable and kind and I think the world of him

From the time that I arrived in his office until I left was 2 1/2 hours. Most of my time was spent in the exam room. I was told that Dr. Obah was out. I was to see his assistant. I went to the desk twice to ask when will be seen. I was told that she had one patient ahead of me. The nurse came into my room twice. I asked the nurse how much longer? She said that there was one patient ahead of me. Dr Obah's assistant came in. I told her that this behavior was unacceptabl. No reccomendatio

I was very pleased to find the new Dr. that took over my health concerns 3 months ago is in fact the best Dr. I have had in 10 years. Withing 10 minutes of meeting Dr. Obah I was not only impressed, but felt I had an advocate and friend. Thank you!

Dr Obah is amazing. I've known him for about 4 years. He has been willing to spend time with me each time my migraines and neck/back pain has reoccured. I know he cared for me as a patient and as a person. I would recommend him to anyone. He truly wants the best for everyone.

Dr. Obah and his associates have improved my life exponentially! When I first started treatments here, I was pretty much home bound and had no social life. Now I'm able to visit friends sometimes, work in the yard a little, and even work one or two days a week. It's hard for me to express how much Dr. Obah and his team have truly helped me. I'm not without pain, but it is managed so much better than it ever has been in my whole life!

Dr. Obah is so through and he takes his time to make sure that every procedure he performs is done safe. He takes time on his visit to review my concerns. I had seen several providers before Dr Obah and is was not until he took over my case that I really recovered any quality of life. My condition is chronic and he has developed a plan of shots, procedures, and medication that i can live and move the way I did not think was possible. I have complete trust in his judgement for my case

My husband's been suffering with, almost, unbearable back pain for the last year now. An MRI was done where he learned he had two herniated disks, and one bulging. He was put on a 6 week waiting list to see Dr. Obah for cortisone shots to help with the pain. When his appointment came he waiting two and a half hours to see Dr. Obah. Who then insisted that his pain was nothing more than an injury that would heal itself over time.
