I have been with Dr. Barber for 6 years, he is very thorough and explains things very well. He is caring with a good demeanor.

While working in NC, I developed a chest infection that was treated by 2 other health care providers in Matthews, NC. My condition worsened, and went on for over a month. I decided to leave work mid-week, and see my primary physician, Dr. Barber. Within a couple of days, I was feeling better, and after about a week, I was back to 100%. So far, Dr. Barber has been very helpful with my conditions of high blood pressure, and most recently, a diabetic. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Barber has been our family physician for several years. He is very courteous, caring and dedicated. In fact, the whole staff, nurses and office personnel are wonderful.

Dr. Barber is a very caring, concerned physician who takes extremely good care of his patients. My wife and I have been seeing him a few years now and I would consider any other as my primary GP.

Dr. Barber talked to me with disrespect and didn't care at all about me. He is the worst doctor. Has a very bad bed side manner. ??

I would recommend this doctor to anyone seeking a healthcare provider. I have never had a better doctor who listens to me and actually tries to help me. He is a good man! It's my insurance that is the problem. He does everything he can to help me with my health issues.

I asked for something for stress/ nerves-and was told since my blood pressure want up at the moment I didn’t seem like someone who had stress and that I was on a pretty high dose of anti depressants so why did I need anything else and also was asked “so you have had Ativan before so you know how it makes you feel so that why u want it??” Nope never had it before and I thought it was an incredibly rude thing to say. Made me feel like a drug seeker won’t be going back. Very condescending.

Dr. B is the greatest! When my previous doctor retired I started seeing Dr. Barber and he instantly made me feel at ease and comfortable. He listens to me and is very cordial. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice doctor. Doesn't force tests or drugs if not desired. Friendly staffr.

Excellent Doctor!! He takes his time and LISTENS to his patients. Excellent bedside manner and courteous staff. I would highly recommend him.

Our entire family has switched to Dr. Barber. He takes his time with us every time we go in and never makes us feel like our concerns aren't important or that we are just another patient on his list. Great doctor and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a family doctor in our area.
