Dr. James David Proffitt JR.

I was having some chest pains in his office and he said it was impossible without exertion. He had never heard of variant angina. Then looking at a CT scan I had done, he wanted to rush me to a surgeon as I had gallstones show up but I was asymptomatic. I went elsewhere. 2 years later and still doing fine.

Dr. Proffitt and his staff are fantastic. My wife and I have been a patient of his since 2017. He is extremely knowledgeable, great listener, caring, down to earth with a fantastic bed side manor. My wife and I are sad to see him leave the practice but we are very happy for him in his new retirement endeavor's!!! Dr. Proffitt this is wishing you a wonderful and happy retirement. Best doctor and ancillary staff in town. He’s down to earth, listens to you, and really cares. Nurses and PA are excellent also. I won’t go to anyone else in town.medicsarge

I would not recommend this doctor. I had to fill out the same forms for the same information each time I visited (3 times). Even had the same information on their web site. Last visit, I waited 1 hour in the waiting room for my scheduled appointment and never got seen. No one was even around when I left. Not even a receptionist. Next time I tried to schedule an appointment, they told me it would be a 3 month wait. Is this a medical provider you would want?
