Dr Borrego is very professional and cares about his patients. He doesn't mind spending time with his patients and he's very honest. However, his receptionist is very rude and disrespectful. She doesn't know how to talk to the patients and she doesn't mind throwing the patients file on her desk or garbage.

My mom goes to Dr. Borrego and he is great but his staff is god awful. They are so rude and condescending. I’m sure he has lost so many patients because of this. Sad because he is a great doctor.

One of the best practices. Dr. Borrego did not have availability today, so I saw a new DO Dr. Michaelson who was great! She is super sweet and takes her time with you to really understand what is going on. Will be seeing her in the future!

After an EXTREMELY frustrating couple of days at Northside Forsyth, we were fortunate enough to have Dr. Borrego as a Doctor. What a welcome angel to us. My husband had crushed his tibial plateau and had a terrible reaction to the pain medicine and had to be admitted to the hospital. They weren't even going to give him an MRI wanting him to instead wait and follow up with an orthopedic doctor. Dr. Borrego LISTENED and knew my husband was in severe pain and ordered the MRI immediately, getting us a diagnosis. He could have been hobbling around on this for a week waiting to get into an orthopedic doctor to have to still wait on an order for an MRI. We are grateful for Dr. Borrego and will be using him as a primary care doctor from now on. I think I knew more then he did sometimes. He is very courteous but he didn’t really investigate in depth my concerns. The Nurse practioners were the worst!

He is amazing! My mom was truly suffering and honestly her medications were a mess! Just all over the board. She was on over 20 different medications and he straightened it all out and had her feeling much better! He is soo kind and really listens and cares! I have since taken my father to him and my dad is a huge fan now as well! 81 and not on a single medication. He has made their quality of life so much better!

Dr Borrego has been my physician for the last 11 years and I am very confident every time I walk into his office that he will take care of my issues my problems in addressed the best way possible.

Dr. Borrego is the BEST doctor that I have seen and I have seen ALOT of doctor from the West to the East. Dealing with my non text book health issues, Dr. Borrego always take his time and listen to me, he never rushed my appointment time. Doctors like him are very hard to find now days.

An awesome doctor who is not only knowledgeable and proactive but really cares about his patients. He has the heart of a teacher. Took time to explain what was going to happen and why. Took my mom who was in a downward spiral and turned it completely around. I highly recommend him.

My surgeon forgot to order diabetic checks after surgery. She discharged me and two days later, I was re-admitted by Dr. Carr with severe ketoacidosis, failing kidneys, and high heart enzymes.
