Dr. Dale E Doerr

I have visited Dale E. Doerr MD with my father, because of my fathers knees problems, and I will never forget that very unpleasant experience. My father doesn’t speak English and was there to help him with transportation and paperwork. I did not understand what was doctors problem with me, but the communication between him and me was more than unpleasant from the beginning. Doctor even got translator to the appointment, stating that he doesn’t understand me, and also stating that I would not understand information about major surgery like knee replacement???? I don’t understand why translator should understand better, but that was doctors opinion with out any knowledge about me. These days with access to the internet, information about anything and everything is available, so does the information about surgeries. I have done my research, and even if I did not, I would be able to understand the risk from the surgery, since doctors was not explaining how to perform surgery anyway??? I don’t know what was wrong with doctor Doerr that day, was that his usual behavior, but I have seen that he is rated with only three stars as a surgeon, and that only with out his bed behavior would be enough for me not to recommend him to anyone else. Dr. Doerr I was really surprised the problem I had was arthritis and I took one pill that evening and I had completely no pain the next morning , I worked 6 Hrs. mowing the yard using a o-turn mower.. One of the best wrist doctors I have ever had. He listens to what you have to say. He will check the painful areas very closely before he makes a decision. The main thing is he is not cut crazy. If you get to see him you are in very good hands.

Dr Doerr is a super Orthopedic surgeon! I have gone to him for 21 years & have always been treated as if I mattered! I know he is retiring, so I wish him & his wife the best life has to offer!!

Just adore Dr Doerr!! If it wasn't for him my life would not have been bearable. I have juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Dr. Doerr kept my pain level under control. My first visit with Dr.Doerr went extremely well. I received more results with him on my first visit than I received with my previous orthopedic Doctor. He actually said more than you poor thing. I look forward to my 4 week visit and gaining more mobility in my knees.

I really like Dr. Doerr's professional attitude & his treatment standards. Got my 1st total knee replacement at age 65 yesterday & appreciate his listening to my concerns & anxiety. He's a very skilled surgeon & I trust him completely. So glad my internist referred me to him. His staff is very nice & personable just as he is. Four weeks ago I walked into Dr.Doerr office for the first time after having a failed visit with another Orthopedic Doctor. He right away looked at my knees and read my MRI results. He already had a plan for me and started me on a steroid pack. For the past 6 + weeks I could hardly walk. I wasn't sure if there are Doctors that help with pain without giving a script for opioids. Finding Dr.Doerr has been a God send. Yesterday I went to see him for my 4wk follow up and he drained fluid from my knee and gave me an injection in it. If that don't work then he will do a procedure on it. Dr.Doerr is a life saver. I thought I would lose my ability to get around. Dr.Doerr nurse and the staff at Dr.Doerr is awesome.

Very professional. Dr Doerr explained my procedure fully. Explained pros and cons of hip replacement surgery. Everything went exactly as he described. I have no complaints whatsoever. Dr Doerr please enjoy your well deserved retirement. I will miss you as my Dr. Thank you

He performed my rotator cuff surgery about 10 months ago. He was dead on in everything that he explained about my recovery. I have probably 95% mobility and 0% pain. I am so glad I had this surgery. He is a very good doctor as for as I am concerned. His staff is compassionate and thorough.

Excellent Doctor and very personable. He was right on with a diagnosis of torn meniscus and explained everything very thoroughly.

Complete knee replacement went exactly as Dr. Doerr explained it would. Very positive experience with Dr. Doerr and staff at Signature.

Initially, I was nervous, extremely nervous. Our first meeting. By appearances...Dr E. Doerr displays super professional. I recieved feedback by text. This morning! Not sure what to say. It's early in my treatment. Althought , I was nervous! and my pain level was extremely high he actually made me laugh through my excruciating pain-I followed his words. Everything fell into place. Good experience. Great office staff, gets me in right on time. Dr. Doerr diagnosed my problem and prescribed a treatment quickly—and it worked. I've seen him 4 times; I'm in an out in 30 minutes or less. I would give him 5 stars but he does seems to be a little rushed. I felt like I was holding him up by wanting to ask a couple additional questions, but I guess that's how they keep on schedule.

Performed total knee replacement on my left knee. Couldn’t be happier. Will replace my right knee in November 2018

Replaced my left knee. No problems at all will soon do my right knee. He is right to the point, no bs sort of guy. Highly recommend Dr Doerr Couldn’t be happier with his performance. Office staff is just as great. Never wait more than 10 minutes.

Was not pleased with this doctor at all. My primary care physician who diagnosed me with arthritis sent me to this orthopedic doctor for further evaluation and treatment. The doctor saw me for what seemed like 2 minutes tops. The doctor did not make eye contact, appear even slightly interested or sympathetic in my situation, ask about my lifestyle or what I go through on a daily basis with my pain and only briefly inspected my knees before prescribing me an inflammatory ibuprofen medicine that my primary care physician could have prescribed just as easy. Never even had the chance to speak with him concerning my back and feet pain before he left the room. I visited Dr. Dorrr with a knee injury, after entry into my room, i waited only a few minutes before he came in. When i say this man knows what he is doing i mean it. I went in with a 50% tear in the right rotator cuff, bone spurs, inflamed bursa and arthritis. He wanted to give me Cortisone. I explained that it does not work for me. Said I could take Nsaids, explained that I couldn't due to bariatric surgery. He said that I was severely limiting the way he could treat me. Started PT and went back for followup. At that time, he said I did not need to see him again. I guess I was healed..magically!! I was in tears and he just stared at me...WILL NOT GO BACK!!!

Dr. Doerr is my kind of doctor. My visits with him have been as long as they needed to be. He has been very helpful in explaining what he is going to do and also when he does it. Je is very patient in answering my questions.
