Dr. Mandel and her team are amazing. I have been going here for about 4 years now and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I travel from the north shore just to go to this office for my dental work and have now started recommending my family to go here. Top notch!

Brought my 2 kids and they were both able to have cleanings at the same time. Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienists and the Dentist were friendly and welcoming for my kids. They explained everything they were doing clearly to all of us and kids left very happy. Highly recommend.

I have been avoiding dentists my whole life and even after getting dental insurance, I had a string of bad experiences with other local dentists. My wife was recently added to my insurance plan and after she had a good experience here, I decided to make my first dental appointment in years. My experience and Mandel Family Dental has completely changed my outlook and I find myself excited for my next visit. I waited less than a minute in the waiting room before meeting my dental hygienist. The hygienist and I had conversation about my oral history and what issues I needed to address immediately. I got my teeth xrayed and met with Dr. Mandel before the hygienist started with my cleaning. Not only was the cleaning that I received the most thorough one I have ever received, but it was also very gentle and I could tell the hygienist was taking her time to do it properly. The reclining chairs even have a massaging function to help you relax! After my cleaning we talked about follow up work and scheduled the next sessions. Immediately after scheduling those I received emails with calendar invites for the appointments, which I found extremely useful. I think the most important thing to me was that the staff there was very kind and understanding. They never made me feel bad about the state of my teeth. I have a lot of crowding issues and 2 wisdom teeth that needed to be pulled years ago but since I didn't have dental insurance for most of my life, I could never afford to do any of that work. Instead of looking at me like a degenerate for not having good teeth, they explained that it was just harder for me to keep my teeth clean because of the other issues. It was just a perspective shift for me to hear that and completely different from the "why didn't you address this sooner" attitude I got from every other dentist. I am now eager to go back and work with the Mandel Family Dental staff to finally address my dental issues. I can't praise them enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Mandel is a great dental practice. The office is always extremely clean and all staff practice safety protocols. Every time I have had an appointment I have never had to wait, I'm always taken right on time. The receptionist Melissa always has the needed information on estimates and billing. Jackie is a superb dental hygienist and Dr. Mandel is excellent not only in her profession but also very personable and makes patients feel very welcome and comfortable. I have crippling dental anxiety. Melissa, Christine and Dr. Mandel did an incredibly good job of alleviating that anxiety. During COVID, I had neglected going to the dentist and they understood without shaming. They are transparent about COVID practices, which was very reassuring. I am permanently switching to Dr. Mandel. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Have also recommended the practice to my friends and family. I have crippling dental anxiety. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. Stacy the hygienist was very good with Cleaning and did awesome job , Dr. Dana is very informative and examined the tooth, explained the treatment well. The best dental care I have ever experienced. While managing through these difficult times, Dr,. Mandel and her team are excellent. My appointment went perfectly, Melissa called me in from my car, Jackie met me at the door and was meticulous and gentle with my cleaning. Dr. Mandel was as kind and helpful as always. Another fun and exciting visit with Jackie and Dr. Mandel! Jackie and Dr. Mandel have a great memory. They always seem to remember things that we spoke about in previous visits. It makes me feel more comfortable and at home during my visit. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Just had my first visit today and couldn’t be more pleased to have found this office. Jackie was very patient with me and put all my dental fears at ease. I had the most thorough but gentle cleaning. Dr Mandel was able to find the cause of my tooth sensitivity and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I have been a patient of Dr Mandel for many years. Most recently I needed to have a tooth extracted. Dr Mandel walked me through all my options for a tooth replacement. She outlined the procedures, the costs and the short- and long-term consequences of each option. In fact, she had to do this a few times as it took me a while to comprehend everything. In the end she guided me through an implant. I am so pleased with the result. The procedure, though a multiple-month process, went as Dr Mandel described. I could never say enough about Dr Mandel and her amazing staff. I am someone who has been very fearful of the dentist for my whole life, that fear is gone because of my experience with Dr Mandel. It is difficult to express how grateful I am for the professionalism of the Dr and all her staff but they go way beyond that. They are caring, kind and gentle. Dr Mandel is a true perfectionist, you will never be rushed through, and she will continue for as long as it takes to make her work so much more than just good enough. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dana Mandel and her staff. From the first time I step into their office until she finished my crown yesterday! They are the most friendly, considerate and warm group of women. I came in with a mouth load of trouble and Dr. Mandel reviewed my issues and recommended the best course of action for me and my non-existent budget. I have been seeing Dr. Mandel for almost a year now, and am incredibly happy with her and the practice. I recently had a terrific experience that I'd love to share. I ride the Commuter Rail to work, which makes Mandel Dental very convenient since it's a 3 minute talk to the train station. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment, and I mentioned that I was on a tight schedule to catch a train. The hygienist, Stacy, took me in right away and gave me a thorough cleaning in what felt like no time at all. She was also very gentle, a refreshing experience after having seen some rougher hygienists at the last practice I visited. Dr. Mandel had just arrived at the office, and when the hygienist let her know I was in a rush to catch a train, Dr. Mandel came right into the exam room and performed my examination! Both Stacy and Dr. Mandel were incredibly thoughtful and considerate of my time, a trait that I wouldn't ascribe to most dental practices. The treatment was thorough and gentle, and Dr. Mandel and the hygienist put my needs as their top priority. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Mandel in the future, and will request to see Stacy for my hygiene visits as well! I saw Dr. Mandel for an old filling that needed replacing and she was terrific! Gentle, understanding and compassionate! The whole team amazing, can’t say enough great things!

Dr. Mandel is a fantastic Dentist. She always answers every question I have and has been very accommodating and easy to work with. Unlike other places I've been, I've always feel welcomed at her office by her and her team. And I have to say, the results of my treatment have been fantastic, couldn't be happier. She kept me calm during all of my appointments and answered all of my questions.
