Dr. Daniel Israel Shrager

I would not recommend him. No communication, he sat and stared at me. Said I had pre-cancer cells...and froze them. My other issue, he really didn't offer any advice. He never suggested that I even follow up. Where he sprayed, I still have scaly spot but I will look for another Dermatologist.

Ever sinced I moved to the US I struggled with acne. I tried all sorts of counter solutions until one day I decided to see Dr. Shrager. He’s the absolute best and helped me get rid of it. Truly recommend him ????

Excellent. Splendid. 10/10. I had an appt with Dr. Shrager and expressed my concerns regarding the procedure. He went above & beyond. If there’s one thing I hate it’s being rushed during an appointment and he definitely did not do that. Looking forward to coming back!! Thank you :)

Office is totally disorganized, impossible to get a call back whether it's about a billing issue or a biopsy. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Daniel Shrager is a top notch dermatologist. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Clearly an expert in his field. I very highly recommend.

Dr. Shrager has removed several skin growths for me over the years. Each time He has delivered amazing results for me. He is very friendly and skilled. I totally trust him and frankly he has been a godsend for my dermatology needs. I highly recommend Dr. Shrager.

My experience with Dr. Schleider was the opposite of every doctor’s visit in my past experiences. I was seen on time, allowed to ask as many questions as I felt I needed and he had a very patient and comforting bedside manner. I would highly recommend him to friends, family and anybody else who seeks to be treated with dignity and respect. I am a registered nurse in NYC and worked with Dr. Schleider in caring for a VIP homebound patient who required 24-hour care for complex cancer-related issues and pain management. Dr. Schleider was always available to the patient, patient's family and the nurses. He has excellent bedside manner and explains his rationale thoroughly. A pleasure to work with.

I am SANDRA H! I LOVE ALPHA DERMATOLOGY! Please, PLEASE, PLEASE, use alpha dermatology. Dr. Shrager is the most wonderful, caring and intelligent Doctor, with a kind and gentle demeanor which makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. It made the experience as a first time mother much easier, everything was so relaxed and 'easy'. I was sad to say goodbye at my postpartum checkup. Thank you so much Dr. Shrager, and I hope to see you again some day!

Awful.... awful ... don’t use him 1). Delay in getting lab results- only to make 3 attempts to get results for a receptionist tell you you were tested positive for TB 2). Does not work well with getting your insurance info and pre-authorization complete. Two months later I get a call at 6:30 am from dr shrager to never contact his office. 3). Worried that if a complication would arise with injecting meds to myself I would not be treat appropriately. Forced to go to another doctor and be without meds for 2 months 4). Can’t talk to a live person... only an answering service which complicates the insurance process and takes time to receive info and resolution 5). Used insurance that was two years old which complicated matters - office again not paying attention to details (like missing diagnosis). 6). Dr shrager told me to call or text his cell any time .... I have yet for him to reply or call 7). Insurance company calling for pre authorization called no less than 8 times to receive NO return call or response 8). Insurance company is lodging a Formal complaint against this doctor for mistreating a patient and not allowing me to get my meds

Simply the Best!!! I am a 20 year melanoma Survivor. I trust Dr Shrager and his staff with my life. I mean that literally.

Dr. Shrager diagnosed me with cutaneous lupus, no other doctor's could figure out my issues, and he was spot on with the diagnosis and very knowlegable. He was down to earth and caring. Gave me his cell phone number to call if I ever had a problem.

Dr. Shrager is an excellent doctor! He is very patient and professional. I wish all my doctors were like Dr. Shrager.

He helped my husband with his psoriasis thst he had for many years. It’s completely gone now. I never met him personally , but I’m going to soon. Just made my appointment.

I had a suspicious mole on my back - called several dermatologists in my area ( Manalapan/Marlboro), got rather interesting responses - doctors will see you in 2 MONTH!!!! Wonderful, caring doctors we have here. Alpha Dermatology number online, called and was told to come the same day. And. whats more, I was seen within 2 minutes after arrival into his office - NO WAITING !! I found Alpha Dermatology to be extremely professional and caring MD and a great dermatologist.

This was my first visit to a dermatologist and it was a very nice experience. I did not have an appointment and he seen me right away after filling out only a one-sided form! The Office Manager was very nice and filled out all the demographic info. therefore the paperwork process was fast and not redundant. Alpha Derm made me feel comfortable and at ease. He was very thorough with his exam and he answered all the questions that I had. He did not rush, and was patient with me and my 4 year old.

Best doctor I've had. Besides being very sharp and knowledgeable, Alpha Dermatology has a high standard for treatment. With my previous doctor at One Medical, I had trouble getting the tests I wanted... Not only does Alpha Dermatology prescribe lots of tests (with no pressure to take them), he immediately sends patients to specialists for a thorough diagnosis. After my eye turned red, I emailed Alpha Dermatology a few photos and asked for his advice. Within half a day, he had emailed back .

I feel so lucky I got this amazing doctor about 10 years ago. Since then I wanted only him to be my FM. I just love him! He helped me a lot through this years. He even does bottox for me and is very good at it. He is always in great mood, smiling, attentional, patient, knowledgeable ... I wish other doctors would be like him! Too bad he doesn't take new patients anymore, I want all my family members to be with him. Hope, may be later. Alpha Dermatology is a wonderful place for all your skincare.

The service I received was excellent. I was impressed by the dermatology and Alpha Dermatology knows what they are doing. I only had to wait about ten minutes to be seen. Dr. Carly and Dr. Dan are really knowledgeable about skin problems. My nose hurt bad. So they gave me a natural cream. It was only a few days till the soreness went away. I definitely appreciated the explanation too. It was a nice new office. On the negative side, I would say they need to be more quick. It was a good experience, but next time, I hope to wait only about 5 minutes instead. Overall a positive experience. The service I received was excellent. I recently went to the dermatologist. My friend Timmy told me that I had a suspicious mole on my back. My family has a history of weird malls on their body and I was concerned that one of my malls might be cancerous. When I went to Alpha dermatology I found the people were very kind. I was taken back into the examining room and given the utmost respect. Respect is very important to me. My medical assistant told me that I should place a gallon on my body. The doctor came in five minutes later.

I love the doctors at Alpha Dermatology. This place is fine! I had an 815 appointment today. At 9, AFTER 3 people behind me were called back I voiced my concern and demanded a refund. They have absolute concern for patients time. I strongly suggest you come here Apparently a good review gets you a happy phone call the next day! Thanks Alpha Dermatolgy.

Very knowledgeable staff and they even gave me a coupon.I arrived a few minutes late and apologized for being late. The receptionist assured me that it was okay and asked me to have a seat.I waited for a short time before being taken to an exam room. After seeing the assistant to the doctor, I then waited a while before seeing the doctor. It was an appointment made with not much notice, so maybe that is why I waited so long. I don't remember waiting for that length of time for my previous visit.

Absolutely great experience I think that if I need to go to a dermatologist I would definitely go to Alpha dermatology I have been to other skin doctors and all the other skin doctors are pretty good but my acne was pretty bad. So I needed to see a dermatologist who could help me and it once I waited for about 10 minutes. Everything went great I definitely recommend this doctor because he really cared about my acne and I think it came across because the results are so excellent.

Outstanding service. Got Botox and had a wonderful nurse. The nurse helped me understand how Botox works. She also explained the concept of the full body exam. The nurse asked about my history of skin cancer. Thankfully all my skin lesions were benign. I was very happy to be treated by the doctors office I know that in the future I will go back to have full skin exam is plenty here my friends also need a good doctor to look at their skin so I told them to go to Alphaderm and Allergy my friend said that they had a great experience the nurses were very nice and they would recommend this office to their friends is well in summary Alphaderm at Allergy seems to be a very friendly and nice place. I would also like to mention that the nurses and receptionist said after dermatology take a lot of time to make patients feel comfortable and also answer all of your questions and concerns I think that this is a good office to go to if you need skin care. Dr. Daniel Shrager is a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I never feel rushed. He also helps you find specialists that are outside of his field if you need them that he has researched well. He is fairly priced and does not push out-of-pocket procedures.

Love this doctor! After 4 phone calls in a period of 1 week Dr. Hui returned my call. She explained that she did receive my messages and that her office policy is that her patients must see her at least once a year, and that after 13 months of not seeing her I've become an "inactive" patient in her book. She would therefore not be able to help me unless I came to her office. I figured maybe she didn't understand the entire situation and I proceeded to explain to her that I'm 31 yrs. old.

When I’ve called Dr Paquin’s office for an appointment I had to learn that I had to wait 4 months for an appointment. Well, I was happy but understood as she is highly recommended and I needed somebody I can trust since skin cancer and melanoma is running in the family. Fortunately not long after making my appointment; I’ve lost my pocket calendar and was not aware when the appointment was up. I thought it won’t be a problem because doctor’s office always call or email to remind the patient.

He's always been honest with me, forthright with his opinion and he's very knowledgeable. He's kind when you have a legitimate problem and you follow through with all referrals to diagnostic or other appointments. He won't tolerate drug addicts who come in with xrays 5 years old but refuse to get updated studies. I trust him and his judgment.

Great experience. I waited for over an hour and when I was finally in the office, a nurse or someone, came in and asked me specific questions. The Dr. came in, could even look my in the eye, did even look at my skin and immediately prescribed a very good drug with no other explanations. I told him I do not do well on medications and he basically told me that if I couldn't handle a few side effects then I was never going to get better. I suffer from bad IBS and gastro issues and follow-up.

Fantastic experience. My son had skin cancer and he went to see the woman doctor. She helped him alot. He was so severe with the acne. But after taking the Minocin was all better.

Outstanding service. Went to the doctor several times got a lot of help with my skin cancer problems.

Outstanding servive from a board certified dermatologist. No scars on the surgerys which was a nice relief from the other doctors I have gone to in the past. Overall a very postive experience and I would recommend this practice to anyone with a skin problem or anyone who has skin cancer.

My whole family went to Dr. S. The only reason we needed a new derm, we moved to Pennsylvania in 1985, but my Mom, two sisters, their husbands, and their children continued to see Dr. S. He was the best Doctor ever, so kind, caring, sympathetic and gentle. I was lucky enough to meet another Doctor with the same values, but he has long since retired. Since then, no one has compared to these two men. Dr. S, you will be praised by all your patients. You are one of a kind. Prayers and love.

My first experience was pretty good but now I can't get anyone to return my call for another appointment. If you're not organized enough to return phone calls after several days, you're certainly not organized enough to perform medical procedures on me.
