She’s absolutely wonderful!!!!

Dr. Dougherty quickly diagnosed my small cell neuroendocrine cancer which had already spread to multiple organs. She recommended an immunology therapy which, so far, has yielded very quick, positive and encouraging results. After the very first cycle of chemotherapy, initial pains and tumors visible on the outside of my body disappeared. After four cycles, CT scans and MRIs show similar results for internal cancerous growths disappearing. Dr. Dougherty closely monitors her strategy as we successfully move forward, now with far greater dependence on my body's immune system to fight the cancer on its own. From our very first meeting, Dr. Dougherty's confidence and enthusiasm in her strategy and decision-making has been persuasive and comforting - with results spot-on!

After being diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 55, a very healthy non smoker. I was fortunate to have discovered my cancer in an early stage, had a lower lobectomy of my right lung and was told by my amazing surgeons at Penn that I needed no further treatment. At the encouragement of my pulmonologist he said I needed to see Dr. Dougherty because she is the best, and you had cancer. She will make sure there is nothing else you need to focus on besides my routine screenings for life. Dr. Doughterty told me since my cancer was genetic and a specific mutation that I qualified for an Immunotherapy treatment which I am currently taking. Dr. Dougherty was the team leader during my treatment for colon/rectal cancer. She led the effort to create the team to define my treatment, then measure, monitor and maintain that process to a successful outcome. My experience with Doylestown Hospital, Penn Medicine, and the transformation to Doylestown Health was professional, efficient effective, compassionate and optimistic. The course of my treatment ran through six years from shock and dismay to hope, fortitude and endurance under an umbrella of optimism. Dr. Dougherty and her team never left my side and I know I would not have the quality of life I have today without them.

Yes I would. I was discharged on my last visit. I did not have breast surgery with her because I moved here from Rhode Island and my Cancer Doctor was Marlene Cutitur, M.D., F.A.C.S. Who was excellent. When I came to Doylestown about 6 years ago I needed follow-up visits with a Cancer specialist so I chose Dr. Dougherty. She was excellent.

I have been seeing Doctor Dougherty since 2017 when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Then in 2020 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has treated me with empathy and care. Takes time to answer all my questions to ensure I feel comfortable. I trust her judgement and recommend her to anyone dealing with cancer.

I have been with Dr. Dougherty over 8 years. She is a very kind and compassionate doctor and human being. She has made this harrowing journey a little easier to navigate. I believe that I am getting the best care possible. The people in the office are also very accommodating and friendly. They all know my name!

The treatment plan she proposed was confirmed by a another prominent Doctor at Penn......... For convenience and personal reasons I choose Alliance at their Doylestown location for my treatments. Over these many months of treatment I found the selection of both proved to be one of the best decisions I made with regard to my cancer treatments. Dr. Dougherty is the BEST
