Dr. Theesfeld has a caring compassionate heart, He has taken excellent care of me I am thankful for him.

I have been going to pain management for approximately 15 years, in different cities I’ve lived, for chronic widespread pain due to 13 surgeries for degenerative disc disease, a motorcycle accident and arthritis. I have never been to a pain management office that has been more thorough, compassionate, patient and friendly from the front desk staff, the various technicians, to Dr. Theesfeld. By all the testing involved, not just drug screening but routine blood work, neurological, blood flow analysis, etc, you will definitely find that Dr. Theesfeld has dedicated his career to providing the highest quality of health care in this area. Due to the nature of pain management itself, he must hold his patients accountable for their drug intake. No doubt he gets ALL kinds of people through his office and he must have a keen BS detector mentality. We all know opiate overdoses have grown to an epidemic of massive proportions. Due to a few bad doctors over prescribing these medications causing addiction issues and many times death, it’s an ever growing dilemma for those that really need these medications to be able to get them in a safe and legal manner. If you indeed have REAL chronic pain, you will go to any lengths for relief and will be happy to be compliant with his strict requirements for being a patient. I know I will never be totally pain free again, but the medication does help significantly to help me be as active as I can. Staying in bed will not make your pain or physical condition any better, it will only worsen. You must get up and walk through it. Because of Dr. Theesfeld’s dedication to his craft and his staff, I look forward to another day each morning.

From my first visit a few years back until now, I have always been treated with respect and compassion from all Dr. Theesefelds staff and most importantly him. My health and pain issues started early in my life but in my mid 30's became unbearable. Multiple doctors were amazed at my different illnesses and how I was coping. I've even been called a "zebra" because of the different illnesses I have been diagnosed with. Literally, most of my adult life, I have dealt with pain, and anyone in pain understands that having relief from that pain is a God send. I truly believe God puts specific people on this earth to be healers and protectors. To me, that's the kind of person AND doctor that Dr. Theesefeld is. He works tirelessly and is always concerned about my pain AND my progress. At his office it's not just about medication, physical therapies, etc, it's about my complete health. Dr. Theesefeld is very intune and has been such a blessing. Because of him, I have a quality of life I wouldn't have had and didn't have before seeking his treatment. My very first appt was lengthy because it needed to be, and I am so thankful! I was amazed at the time taken to go over every aspect of my pain. Dr. Theesefeld took the time needed to go over everything in his exams, talk with me, AND really listen! You don't find that much these days in doctors. To this day, I have gotten an exceptional level of care and compassion from Dr. Theesefeld and I am so glad I made that first call. While I will never be completely out of pain, I feel I am on my way to having my best life because my quality of life is so much better now. Being able to be with my family and enjoy the little moments, make memories, and have clarity without as much pain is absolutely amazing. I would tell anyone considering pain management to talk to their doctor and make an appointment now. Life is meant to be lived to its fullest, and being in pain can prevent that. I 100% believe in Dr. Theesefeld and his ability as my doctor. I am grateful to have him working with me to allow me to have a life that's liveable again without constant pain. My life has been truly blessed by his care. Thank you Dr. Theesefeld and staff for all you do. ❤️

Great man gave us a very professional and personal expenses stop and took off his doctors hat and talk to us like a family member

One year ago I came to see Dr Theesfeld while in a lot of pain. I had been through all the injections, PT, back surgery, and doctors that did not care. Dr. Theesfeld, the first time I saw him, made me feel like someone was going to help me. He has helped me to the point that my activity level is almost normal. After several years of chronic pain I'm now almost pain free. Thanks Doc !!

He is very kind and thoughtful. One of the best doctors I’ve ever met. He encourage me to quit smoking, and live my life more fully.

I like Dr. Theesfeld because he helps patient with real problems. He just does not hand out prescription. That's the issues in today's society people are just given medications when not needed. So that hurts the patients that really do need it. Without Dr. Theesfeld I would not have the quality life that I have with his help. Not only with medication, he has a diet plan and strength exercises for each patient. Thank you Elizabeth Radecki I love the front staff people, lab guy and some of the medical assistants. Don't know all of them.

Dr theessfield has been a wonderful doctor for me he has kept me where I'm able to take care of my wife and myself and cook and do the daily activities that I need to do my wife is to the point of almost being bedridden at times and without his help I would not be able to take care of her I have been in such bad pain that at times I am devastated with it and except for his help and of course God's help with and with prayer I have been able to continue to take care of her and myself I have a great love for Dr theft field I pray for him and I pray his practice continues I hate that he we have to have pain management doctors but if it wasn't for him and others that are willing to take care of elderly and people that have great pain we would be in a world of hurt at times so I am grateful for his service God bless him and his family and I pray he continues to prosper and God bless him thank you and he's he's a very good

I enjoy my visits with Dr. Theesfeld. He is so sweet and kind to me. He takes excellent care of me. I do recommend him for pain management care.

Dr. Theesfeld and his entire staff have been wonderful. I was nervous after my pain management neurologist moved after 17 years of care. After my first appointment with Dr. Theesfeld and his staff, I no longer worried. I had many questions about the continuation of epidural injections and neurotomies and all my concerns were answered without feeling rushed. Dr. Theesfeld personally gave a follow-up phone call regarding a concern I had. All doctors are busy and have little time for tasks like checking up on a patient. I felt that my care was very important to Dr. Theesfeld and I am very grateful.

I had my second appointment with Dr. Theesfield he was so kind. I didn’t understand the instructions on my medications and therefore had not taken it right. He took the time to explain my medication and what the goal of treatment is. He informed me of what I no longer needed to take and made a plan for the future. I have high anxiety with doctors because I’ve tried for years to get help for my chronic pain and arthritis. He calmed me down and told me we would get through it together and get the best treatment for me. I’m so grateful and I’m excited about getting my quality of life back!

Very informative and patient. I listened to him and he listened to me. Very informative of procedures and what his action plan was to minimize my pain and discomfort. He explained what he expected from me and was very professional in doing so.

Dr. Theesfeld has been seeing me for about 8 years now. His care has helped me lead a productive home and work life. I can't say enough good things about how he has improved my life.

Updating my original review- When i first came to Dr.Theesfeld, I was in SO much pain and bedridden a lot. With his plan, my daily pain has gone from a daily "8" to a daily 2-4 with less flareups and SO much more activity! So blessed to find him!! ****** After having a visit with another Longview Pain Management doctor- and surgeon - said surgery was next, but no pain relief. I felt unheard, and I felt like me asking for pain relief immediately labeled me an addict...despite NEVER have I EVER gone through withdrawals. But- unfortunately a lot of us who suffer Chronic conditions are lumped together as drug seekers. I honestly had given up until my Primary doctor suggested Dr. Theesfeld. Suddenly there was another option!!! Looking at the reviews scared me ... but BOY I don't agree with some of these reviews. My experiences thus far have given me something I haven't had in years = HOPE. I love how God is spoken of freely, and they are thrilled to pray with you! I like Dr Thessfeld a great deal. He is compassionate and understanding. I have recommended him to several people and will continue to do so.

Has the worst attitude for a doctor he talks to his patients like they're 3-year-old children he believes he is the only person should be able to talk and what he says and thinks should be what is said and thought of save yourself some grief find you another doctor don't stop here run as fast as you can.

Power-tripping, holier-than-thou clown. Talks over and ignores you. Takes away medication on a whim, not because you don't need it anymore, but because you made him angry by asking questions and wanting to understand more instead of blindly going along with what he says. More concerned with his ego than his patients' wellbeing.

Dr Theesfeld is a no non-sense, very committed to his patients and Employees Physician. He is charged by the Law and his conscience to weed out the actual pain disabled patients from the emotionally dependent on the medication patient’s. I had Employees for 30 years in my Service Business before I became disabled from bad outcomes from 5 spinal procedures by other Doctors. I can assure you that he has to walk a tightrope between addictions, and therapies that are necessary. And people are not always honest. He has to determine one from the other. I can honestly endorse his behavior and procedures. I have limited physical ability; but he has given me Quality of Life I would not have without him. Doc T gets a bad rap on people how are not following the guideline of pain management. They test you for the med's you are prescribed. When other drugs show up in your system he confronts you about them. Wants to know why you are not following his treatment. When people show up with cocaine in their system and all they want is pain med's its his job to stop them. His job is on the line if the Fed's come in and check out is papers and finds he is giving out drugs to people testing positive to meth coke or weed or other drugs not in his treatment. He has been nothing but respectful tome and treats me with total respect. He ask about my family and i his. And you should not judge a man on what their kids do...take a good look in the mirror and see how great of a person is looking back at you..... only god can judge....He is the a great DR and cares about his patients so much..... I could never have the best Dr in my life he understands you , and listens what you tell him he has help my pain for several years could not go to a nes dr he is the best and his nurses are the best since I been sick they all listen to what you tell them thank GOD for the best drs office thank you everyone

When I was his patient in fort worth, he did a procedure on me and it worked perfectly!! He told me that it would last 6 months to a year. Well it lasted a whole lot longer than that , to be honest it lasted 3+ years of no or very little hip pain & electrical shooting down my legs!! WOW! WHAT A SMART AND WONDERFUL DOCTOR!!! Been a patient for over 6 years, always has been knowledgeable and helpful. He is a straight shooter, and he won't sugar-coat any answers he may give. I respect him and am thankful he is fair. As anyone can tell you most negative reviews are likely posted by someone who was denied treatment or removed due to non-compliance.

Have been see him for almost a year for my back and in the time frame also found out I have an auto immune disease which only adds to my pain and insomnia. Dr. Theesfiled and his staff and nurses have always been kind and caring every time I see them. And even when I have to call for something they are understanding. Glad I finally found a dr that honestly cares about my health!

Wonderful Doctor, genuinely has your best interests at heart. Also treatments working wonderfully, able to be me again!

Hes a very rude person...has a God complex. I wouldnt send my dog there to get treated. Your better off with Xanax, alcohol, and a vicoden mixture for your pain. Very rude to patients and his staff, talks to them like common slaves on a plantation.

Daniel R.Theesfeld is NOT a Doctor- he is the most disrespectful sorry joke of what they call of a “Doctor”!!!! He gives Doctors a bad name. Other very well known physicians and RN’s of mine warned me of him and told me to be careful of him. A Doctor is is physician who knows their patients, truly cares about them and their well being, has a heart, loves doing their job, you should feel comfortable speaking with your Doctor about anything. When the patient has an appointment. the DOCTOR SHOULD come in the patient’s room EVERY visit and speak to them in a caring manner to where the patients aren’t scared of him and have to ask his uncertified medical assistance’s, “if he’s in a good mood that day or not because if he’s in a bad mood my problem can wait or I’ll talk to another 1 of my Doctors who actually cares and doesn’t scare me for asking a question”, because you’re terrified of him, his actions and that he may touch you inappropriately.. It’s just flat out sad, ridiculous, and wrong in so many levels. Patients pay to see this Doctor and Doctor’s should with hold their selves to a higher standard and be proud of their accomplishments and their name. Daniel R. Theesfeld doesn’t care about what his patients or staff members think of him (or anyone). He has ran his name down in the dirt. A Doctor has respect for his patients and himself. A Doctor should not bring up politics during a visit and ask you, “what do you think about the election and what is going to with the world”? A Doctor should not be allowed to tell you that, “no one but yourself can come back to the room,” unless he has something to hide. He doesn’t even come in the rooms unless you ask to speak to him- it’s just you and the uncertified medical assistant. A Doctor would NEVER call his patient a liar after having a procedure when she states, “she’s about to pass out, light headed, shaking, and nauseous”. At the same time a Doctor would never deny her Father coming to the back and being with her while she felt this way. Again unless he had something to hide. A Doctor would NEVER make his uncertified medical assistants stand over his patient’s and tell them what to write about how “Dr.Theesfeld’s medical treatment improves your life on the pain scale paperwork. They tell you what to write so Mr.Theesfeld doesn’t get in trouble. Great! So thankful he is my pain management doctor! He is the best in the area hands down!

I seen the doctor for the first time on the 27th and he was very nice. He walk me through some of the options we were going to try. And I really liked him.

Dr. Theesfeld is an awesome doctor! He helps me to be able to function in my life! He is amazing!

Dr. Theesfeld is one of the few that TRULY cares for his patients. He's an incredible Doctor and an amazing person. He hears what you have to say, he answers your questions, and goes above and beyond to make sure your treatment plan is the best he can do for you!!! I would recommend him without hesitation!

He has no concern for his patients. He doesn't want to spend time with you. He seems to have a god complex. He just wants you to take what he gives you with no questions asked.

He is incompetent. Extremely rude. Has office staff see patients. When he does eventually bother to see you in his office, he’s very very rude. If you are able leave this person and please find a competent physician.....

He is the rudest Dr. i have ever dealt with. You can't talk while he is in the room. You can't ask any questions at all. He is not a Godly man except for the matter of him thinking he is God. He treats you like you're a 2nd grade child and he is made because he has to raise you. He was rude to his employee that was in the room with us. My husband told me that if it was him he wouldn't go back and that he would find me another Dr. if i wanted and i said yes please. This doctor is Dangerous!! He did an MRI on me. He said my back was in bad shape. He said I would need injections and nerve burns for the rest of my life. When I saw another doctor year later, he said my back good. Just a.few minor things. So he gave me the treatment to make money!! I smoke. He told me I needed to stop or he would drop me from clinic. It is my opinion that Dr. Theesfeld seriously needs to stop treating patients and go into treatment for his GOD complex!!

Extremely rude. Will get up and walk out of the office if you ask him questions about your treatment. Wants to put people on a 'high fiber' diet, ea metamucil every day,.. demanding they loose weight, or he will cut their medications in half (or cut it off completely) .. demeaning to patients,.. does NOT listen. If you object to anything, or question anything, he says 'find another doctor',, Freely admits that about 30 percent of his patients are not satisfied with his care. Not recommended.

He has a GOD COMPLEX!! There’s NO TALKING to him. He’s rude, incompetent. 1st visit I brought all my current med records, MRI, Print out from pharmacy showing all meds. He never looked at it . He was more interested in my personal life & complemented my appearance. . I’ve had 12 back surgeries & knew something was getting worse. 4 months & still didn’t look at MRI to explain He will yell & tell you to shut up. Must say all the staff I came in contact with were great, but he’s HORRIBLE

The first time I saw Dr. Theesfeld, we had an argument because I didn't understand what he had said and he didn't explain himself until the argument in the back hallway. He often made me feel as if he were doing me a favor by treating me since I had Medicare. I worked hard to do all that he asked, but he didn't want to hear that things weren't working. He coached me on how to fill out monthly paperwork so he would look good in court. I've quit seeing him and no one from his ofc has checked on me
