Dr. Darshini Kumarasena

I have known Dr Kumarasena for over ten years. She is a wonderful person as well as a state of the art Pediatrician. She cares about her patients and families and is always there to help ease your mind. When you speak with her she is so kind and caring about the entire family. She is one of a kind and I would highly recommend her !!

Dr. Kumarasena has been our pediatrician for over 20 years, and she is an excellent clinician. She is very compassionate, caring and provide individualized care for the kids and involve the kids in taking care of their health and involve the whole family in addressing nutritional and behavioral issues as well.

We treated with Dr K for 10 years. I eventually came to no longer trust her judgment when she started to make wild claims which did not make sense.

Dr. Kumarasena has helped me accomplish what I once thought was impossible. She encouraged me to train my body to stay healthy. I started to create a daily routine and eating healthier. My life has drastically changed, I have more energy, and overall feel happier. Thank you so much for everything you have done.

She is my baby's pediatrician. My husband and I love her and her staff. The most important thing for us is that she takes her time with you - no rush, every visit was probably around 30-45 minutes. She provides you with journals for your considerations in deciding your child's treatment. She calls back when you need phone consultation. She does not bombard you with medicines. Her staff is also very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable; she attends to any of your enquiries.
