Dr. Stephanie Alexis Davidoff

nope just nope dont do it.

I was very disappointed in Dr. Davidoff's service. Her therapy consisted of asking my where my parents and brothers live and what their names were, asking me what my job was etc. On my second visit, she did the same things. No actual psychotherapy at all and the worst part was she charged me $470 for 20 minutes.

The doctor I saw here (Stephanie Davidoff) was terrible. She has no actual caring for her patients, instead only caring about getting you back to charge more money. She is untrustworthy and unprofessional. She sent me to the hospital without just cause because I challenged her on a medication issue and demanded my medical records after politely requesting them many times. She refused to send my records to other doctors and refused to show them to me with the excuse: “my handwriting is not good enough”. She used my symptoms and things I said against me and even baselessly claimed I was an addict to take responsibility off of herself. To this day my doctors still do not have my medical records from her office and the office even declined to send the records to Social Security. After filing a complaint to the board of medicine she and her office defended herself using straight up lies and villified me for having certain disorders. She always made sure to charge me the maximum, especially when in a crisis. When I finally got on a good meds regimen she found a way to change it to keep me coming back and paying more money. She often forgot what meds she prescribed to me and often made errors when sending scripts to pharmacy. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Wonderful Dr. truely cares, listens, and is compassionate.

I have been a patient of Dr. Davidoff's for approximately 10 years, maybe even more. Dr. Davidoff is a fantastic clinician. She is compassionate, thorough and flexible. We have worked through many difficult issues together. As someone who is also in the healthcare field, Dr. Davidoff consistently works with me as a "team". She makes it a point to trust my own clinical evaluation of symptoms and side effects. We have always managed to work through difficult times and come up with a plan that makes the most sense. Dr. Davidoff is patient. She takes her time to make sure that I am comfortable with her plan. If I am not comfortable, we work together to see what would work for me. She keeps in touch with my therapist who does not work at Comprehensive Psych Assoc. They work well together, suggesting changes if needed. Dr. Davidoff has researched things on her own time and followed up with me if there were things that we couldn't solve during my appointment. She is always available by phone if needed too. Highly recommended. I never have any challenges contacting the office staff for scheduling appointments or for questions in general. They are always very polite and professional. Dr. Davidoff is very patient, kind, knowledgeable and informative. She is also very diligent in explaining things in a way that are extremely comprehensible. Dr. DAVIDOFF is very kind and considerate and not your average psyche. I have been to several over many years and I have kept her for over 3 years. When I moved out of town I still made an attempt to see her, traveling over 1 hour to make my appointment. It can take months to find a new psyche and I make it a point to keep the good ones. I highly recommend her as she is extremely professional and thorough. She follows up with your other healthcare members (with your consent) for a complete health plan. I have been seeing Dr. Davidoff since 2009, and she is a fabulous psychiatrist. She is very kind, reasonable, professional, and knowledgeable, Her office is welcoming. The staff are customer-orientated. Dr Davidoff has helped me through some of the most challenging times of my life.

Dr. Davidoff is kind, patient,attentive and a knowledgeable in her field. Ever single visit I am treated with the utmost respect, confidentiality and care that I could ask for. She is wonderful at what she does.

Dr. Davidoff is the most resourceful and thoughtful provider I have even seen in medicine. She is so deeply dedicated to helping others. I always feel centered and inspired after our sessions.

Dr. Stephanie Davidoff is one of the good ones. I've been treated in the psychiatric community for forty years now. There are good health care providers, and there are ones who drift along, collect a paycheck, and wait to get promoted. Dr. Davidoff has always had great advice. Her knowledge of psychotropic drugs is comprehensive. Her schedule has always accomodated my busy life. The best part of all is that I have a life of stability, and normalcy under Dr. Davidoff's care. Lucky me!

I think the harsh reviews are very unfair about Dr Davidoff. I have been coming to her for over 3 years and she listens to me, recommends what I could do to deal with my depression and obstacles in life. She did prescribe the med that has helped me tremendously. I had tried other meds that didn't work with other doctors and I do understand that one must try different drugs to find the correct one. It's not to blame on the doctors. Psychiatry is not simple.

Dr. Davidoff treated a family member and demonstrated very poor judgement and unethical behavior.

I saw dr Davidoff for a little over 3 years. She misdiagnosed me and put me on meds that almost ruined my life but that may have been the best thing about her. She refuses to release my record after many requests even to my therapist. Often forgot what meds she prescribed to me, often made errors when sending scripts to pharmacy. Horrible dr, doesnt care about the pharmacology of meds she prescribes or her patients. Very expensive. Beyond untrustworthy. Now cannot establish care w/o records.
