Dr. David E Engle

In 1997 I was playing softball on my church league when I almost passed out running bases. I was 43 and supposedly in the best shape of my life so I thought. I went to my primary physician who performed a quick ekg and determined quickly I was having a cardiac event. I was sent to Elm brook Hospital where I was met by Dr David Engle. He set me at ease that there was a serious problem and that he and his team would get to the bottom of this issues. Long story short I was sent to St Lukes in case I needed transplant surgery where a bypass surgery was performed. The quick action from Dr Engle and his team,along with plenty of prayer, saved my life. I am grateful for Dr Engle everyday and so is my family. His care and expertise has kept me alive and thriving for the past 20 years. Thank you and God bless you Dr Engle. Enjoy your upcoming retirement in April. The Mudrock family.
