Dr. David J Kouba

Horrible!!! He recommended filler in my lips and didn't even use anything for numbing. This was a horribly painful procedure on a very sensitive area. He also told me procedures "weren't going to make me look like I was young again." Really? Like I didn't know that? He is the most condescending dermatologist I've ever been to. I will NEVER go back there.

The DR is running a mill in which nurse practitioners (NP) handle office visits to maximize profit. 3 visits for my son over 15 months and he never saw the DR. It's ok for a NP to implement a course of treatment, but a DR should see all patients at least once, establish the appropriate course of treatment, and monitor the effectiveness of treatment. We now go to UofM and see a DR. Don't tell me one DR can be genuinely treating patients across 4 offices spread across NW Ohio and SE MI.

Extraordinary. I can't think of the right words to describe his personality, professionalism, candor & abilities in his field of expertise. I had a hole in my temple area the size of a nickel and you can't even tell I had surgery.

I have a skin problem, and this place is amazing Everything they gave me for my skin worked.

worst skin check i ever had and i have had a lot. He just quickly looked me up and down while i was standing. Very short. His office was suppose to check on insurance coverage on a procedure i was interested in and never got back with me.

I would highly recommend Dr. Kouba if you need Mohs surgery. I went through two (2) procedures, both on my face, and Dr. Kouba did a great job of minimizing scars. I am glad he was recommended to me for this procedure.

Great bedside manor. Dr. Kouba is compassionate and easily accessible. I have recommended him to a few people.

Dr. Kouba ia an extremely qualified dermatologist with the kindest bedside manner! His staff is competent and super nice. i receive awesome care and always leave with a smile!

Dr. Kouba is amazing, I trust him and he explains everything very well, which is reassuring since I just dealt with Melanoma and surgery over the Summer and am only 31. His office staff needs some help with communication, they never seem to know what is going on when I call and try and schedule something or ask a question about lab results.

I had surgery to remove my skin cancer and am very pleased with the care I received. The doctor called the night prior to my MOHS and he and his staff are very informative of the process.

It has been my experience with the services provided in this practice exceeds expectations in many ways. I am well satisfied with the care and treatment along with explanation of expectations with each procedure and examinations throughout.

Dr. Kouba is kind and compassionate. He spends as much time as any patient would require also; he is an excellent listener and a very compassionate surgeon. He is a refreshing and a delightful change from the aloofness of other physicians.

Dr. Kouba and his staff are very thorough. I had a spot on my back that I needed to have biopsied. I saw Holly the NP and she was terrific. I would highly recommend Dr. Kouba and Holly to anyone.

Dr. Kouba and his staff are absolutely incredible. He is so caring and compassionate. He has gone above and beyond. 5 stars are enough. I recommend Dr. Kouba and his group to anyone with dermatological needs!

I have had 2 procedures with Dr. Kouba. I found him to be professional, knowledgeable, personable and caring. He has called me at home after surgery to determine my recovery and has provided me with his cell phone number in case I needed him after office hours. I have already recommended him to a friend in need of a dermatologist. He is really great, in my opinion!
