Dr. David C Lipps

Dr. Lipp contacted me for my phone appointment. He was immensely rude from the beginning of the call. He was disgustingly condescending. He would ask me a question and cut me off before I could even finish one sentence, which happened numerous times. He showed no empathy or even the slightest interest to what I had to say. He wouldn’t let me finish a sentence. He would just cut me off and move on or answer the question for me. I grew very frustrated by the end of the call. That abuse consistently continued for just over 20 minutes. At that point I felt belittled, disrespected and disregarded. I was patient throughout the entirety of the call hoping he would change his attitude. At the end I chose to continue talking when he cut me off again. He just started talking over me and started speaking much louder to try to shut me up. I then stated “don’t cut me off. I let you continuously cut me off and always let you finish talking. Let me finish talking for once” He then hung up on me. I figured it was intentional. But was also shocked and hopeful that it was not. I waited and waited for a call back and never received one. This man is such a joke it’s almost comical. I have no idea how he has even lasted at a job. He’s a shame. He lacks professionalism and mannerism. My 9 year old was taught better than him. Btw, I’m speaking in literal terms. My 9 year old has more poise, mannerism and empathy. He makes Kaiser look terrible and the scary part is he will unfortunately get hired elsewhere once Kaiser fires him. Kaiser shouldn’t have nasty people like him under their umbrella, neither should any other entity that requires any type of communication with people. I put an official complaint on that terrible “doctor” with member services as well as contacted the chief of neurology for Kaiser and his direct supervisor. He is an embarrassment to anyone and any entity he represents. Sucks I even have to give an undeserved star to this clown just to write this review. Dr. Lipp contacted me for my phone appointment. He won’t let you speak. Will ask a question and cut you off. He will also lie in your face and behind your back. Don’t bother

Dr lipps is rude and very unprofessional. He always makes me feel that I am not important to him.

This doctor acted very unprofessionally during my exam. He made extremely exaggerated voice and body gestures and reactions during the exam and our discussion--such that I could not believe what was happening! When it was over, he turned back into a mild-mannered person when he was leaving and as his assistant returned.

Dr. Lipps likes the sound of his own voice. He keeps talking, shooting off questions, but never listens to you. Kind of arrogant, and thinks he is god's gift to mankind. I believe you would be better off with someone else.

WARNING!! #1 botox salesman of the year. If you like your doctors to be condescending, discourteous, and aggressively rude while pushing their own agenda on you given a 5 minute "discussion" this may be the doctor for you. Nothing beats feeling as though you are a waste of someones time when you're their 'patient' or in this case 'customer' and why not start with crass, self-important plastic surgeon who took a few too many credits in medical school and ended up in neurology. Great staff though.

As a sufferer of cluster headaches for 35 years, I have dealt with many neurologists who neither know of my condition nor how to treat it. Dr. Lipps has been a lifesaver. He knows clusters, he knows their impacts on our lives, and he knows how to treat them. He engages me in conversations about my options, always letting me know the benefits and challenges of each. He keeps up with current thinking on treating them, and offers new ideas if one treatment doesn't work. I highly recommend him.

A somewhat rude and curt doctor - abrasive personality. He makes you feel like you are wasting his time. Maybe he just wants to be on his yacht.
