Dr. Sharon C Sherling

I also had a terrible experience with Dr. Sherling. I made an appointment with her based on recommendations from my neighbors on NextDoor. She's listed as a homeopathic/natural physician but I have no idea why. During my physical she spent as little time as possible in the room and I felt like I was disturbing her when I asked her questions. I mentioned an issue I've been having and she gave me an exasperated look and said "Isn't this only an annual physical?" I've had an annual physical every year for 40 years and have never been discouraged from discussing my health. She was rude and has terrible bedside manner. I left her office feeling terrible and will never be back.

I was a brand new patient in the practice and she didn't even introduce herself. She took all of 3 min to do my annual physical (not exaggerating, I checked the clock). She didn't even check the problem area I was also in for. Once I asked if that was it for my 'physical exam' she looked at me blankly asking if I had questions. After I let her know that I was expecting her to actually give me a proper guidance as to what I can do to relieve the problem area and spend more than 3 min to give me a physical exam she replied with, 'sorry, it's been a long day and I have patients with cancer.' It was 11:30am and I'm sorry my physical exam is not as important as your cancer patients but that was just terrible.

WORST APPT EVER!!!! Biggest waste of money & time!!! Just got off a virtual visit as a NEW patient with Dr. Sharon Sherling & I must say, she was by far the most rude doctor I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. ENTIRE LIFE! She gets on the call & doesn't even look at me. Throughout the entire call, which only lasted 10 minutes because I was so upset by the interaction that I hung the call up, she looked at me maybe 2 times & both times she had a disgusted or puzzled looked on her face. I explained everything in detail only to be asked the same questions again, I was basically about to be in tears from all the pain I am constantly dealing with & she did not have an ounce of sympathy & she almost prescribed me a medicine that would have had bad interactions with my current medications! Instead of helping me, she gave me the number of another physician so I just wasted $30 & time on an appt for nothing. Im not sure if she doesn't have mixed race patients but wow! The worst!

Not good at all

I have read that Dr. Sherling does not have a friendly personality and looks at her laptop during the appointment. It is true that she comes off as a bit quiet and she does seem to be making notes in her laptop, but this did not bother me. I will update this after more appointments. One thing I really like is that it is easy to make appointments on line with this office. The medical assistant and phlebotomist were great.

Based on first visit, was very pleased with her holistic approach. I liked her ability to talk about conventional medicine and leaky gut in the same sentence. I love finding her without having to find a non insurance covered integrative medicine practioner. She spent a lot of time understanding the issues I raised. Though I guess it was odd that she didn't ask my adolescent much about her perspective. Also, the lady who came for a blood sample was extremely patient in handling my fearful girl

Awful experience. The front desk staff is not helpful and couldn't answer simple questions. Dr. Sherling made little effort to listen to what my symptoms have been, the duration of my symptoms, or connecting the dots of what I was telling her. She was condescending and had terrible bedside manner. She gave poor advice, failed to conduct the appropriate diagnostic tests, and did not provide a treatment plan. The office nurse was also was condescending. Would not recommend Dr. Sherling to anyone.

After numerous visits, all but begging for help, I'm done. No engagement, just 2 minutes with her staring at her laptop. No better than when I started. Discussing medications with her, she just seems confused, asking me to repeat myself again and again, only to discover that scripts are incorrect. Done.

Terrible experience !!!!! She came to the office and never look at me, all the time she was looking at the laptop she brought with her. She didn't ask any questions, let me Do the talk, Rush me the 2 minutes she spent with me and gave me a poor, wrong diagnostic. She didn't even touch me ! Or look closer ! All the time she look at the computer and typed, maybe she was trying to get the answer to my problem on Google. She didn't asked any questions or answer any of my concerns. She is the worst!

Dr. Sherling rushed through my entire office visit. I needed a PCP closer to home, so made an appointment for annual exam. I even explained to Dr. Sherling that I was seeking a new PCP, and that I had a few other issues I wanted to discuss. She didn't seem to care, she didn't ask me any questions, and she didn't seem to want or need any new patients.

I've been a patient of Dr. Sherling for over a year. I find her knowledgeable, a good listener, and very pleasant.
