I visited this dentist about 5 years ago, and he suggested doing 3 crowns and a root canal in a single visit. I wanted to get all the work done with, but I regret trying to fit so much in. Two of the three crowns have fallen out and had to be replaced by another dentist. My new dentist said that a critical step was skipped when cementing the crowns, and that’s why they’ve fallen out. Perhaps we just tried to do too much at once, but it has cost me many more repair visits, and I can’t recommend Dr. Russell based on my experience. Dr Russell is definitely a skilled Dentist. I have had nothing but great experiences with the work he has done for me. He and his staff, have always made me feel like family. I recommend Dr Russell and his amazing staff to anyone looking for wonderful dental care.

Hands down best dental office Iv been to in a while. I had a filling done and it was the easiest experience Iv had getting treatment done. He's very patient and caring. Patty the hygienist is awesome as well, she too was very patient and caring and made my cleaning very enjoyable. Connie in the front staff is as sweet as can be, she was the one that helped me schedule my appointments and explained my treatment plan. The care was fine. Comparable to other dentists I've been to. The woman running the office and billing is incompetent. Told me an xray would be covered and when it wasn't sent me the bill. Gave me a price for a crown which I paid on the day of. Got a bill a few weeks later for what the insurance did not cover. I'm done with this dentist. Never had a dentist tell me what the service would cost and then bill me more after the fact. The care was fine. Comparable to other dentists I've been to. Very personal and individual care and professional service.

Always hospitable. Never fun to be at the dentist but the personalities in the Russell office make the experience the best it can be! Highly recommended!

Great office! Was looking for a new dentist since moving to San Diego, and I found him. Dr Russell and his staff are very personable, and made me feel right at home. My teeth felt great after a cleaning with Patty. Will be recommending this office to all my friends and family looking for a good reliable dentist

As a child, I was terrified of the dentist. I went to this dentist office and I didn't understand nor did I like it. I didn't go back for 9 years. I go back last week for the first time, understanding what was going on. I felt confident and I'm now looking forward to get a cleaning done, as well as my fillings. It's so great to go back to a staff that remembers me after all this time! They are reassuring and explain everything that is easily understood and they encourage me to get things done for my dental health, as well as my other health issues. I have been to several different dentists, meanwhile my teeth were getting worse and worse. He listened carefully to me, and offered good feedback for a treatment plan. His equipment for x-rays and creation of crowns is the latest technology. My daughter also saw him, and was pleased with her experience. I highly recommend him to my friends and family. I will not go back to this dentist, ever. He was extremely grouchy. Very rough when he was drilling. I felt uncomfortable and like I was not welcome. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Maybe he was having a bad day but that doesn't justify his unkindness.

I came to Dr. Russell on a same day emergency visit (abseced tooth). Every one was friendly and helpfull. He saw me right away and the cost for everything was very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Russell and his staff.
