Doc is polite, professional and engaging. He talked to me the whole time I was having a procedure in the office, helping me not think about what he was doing and not freak out. Practically saving my life. This is the very Best Dermatologist !!

Dr. Yrastorza was very professional, great bedside manner, and did a very thorough exam. He provided some very useful education and his willingness to answer questions was impressive.

I had an appointment as a new patient about 2 weeks ago. The overall offixe is professional but I experienced an ordeal when I went. I orginally scheduled my appointment due to suspected (ringworms) fungus on my scalp. When the dermatologist came in, he looked at my skin briefly and told me that it was something I was using. Well, I informed the doctor that I have been using the same products for over 10 years and they never caused brittle hair, thick scales on my scalp, or alopecia. In the event of me telling him this, he neglected to prescribe me anything for a fungus and I showed him the rings along my hair line. So, next upon leaving the dermatologist, I left my wallet. My appointment was on a Tuesday or Monday but by the time i realized it was missing, it was after business hours on that Friday. So that Monday when I went to retrieve it, the receptionist stated they tried to call me. Well I thought that was pretty awful that they didn't leave a voicemail or even try to call back. So basically, I am just left with the same scalp fungus, no medication, owe money to this dermatologists, and all for? Nothing! Nothing at all! I highly recommend! Hannah was great and very helpful. The whole staff was friendly too.

I have never been to a doctor before that makes me want to brag on them so much. The office staff is very professional and friendly and the doctor never makes me wait more than a few minutes. The whole experience from setting up an appointment to getting a procedure done, everyone in the office was very professional, polite and caring. Not sure what happened with the lady that rated him with one star, but this doctor even checked on my wife later in the evening to see how she was doing. We are not over 60, and we were treated incredibly well. I would recommend this office to anyone of any age. Dr. Yrastorza has a well balanced professional and personal attitude, regardless of the age of his patients. He's very "matter of fact" with good bedside manners and even calls his patients personally after in office procedures to ask how they're doing. He also doesn't keep you waiting once you're in a room. He comes in almost right away. Everyone on staff there is friendly, efficient in getting you into a room, and prepared to answer questions. The waiting area is quiet and inviting. There is a salt water aquarium as the focal point in the room complete with colorful tropical fish and live coral. It is absolutely beautiful. Dr. Yrastorza is the best!! He is very professional, not preachy and has excellent bedside manner! I drive from Lake Placid to Lakeland, and I would not go to anyone else, totally worth the drive! His staff are very helpful and friendly as well. Have never encountered an office with a great doctor and friendly staff until this office!!

Caring and friendly staff. Dr. Y has excellent bedside manner and is genuinely concerned with his patients.

I was delighted with my experience with Dr. Yrastorza and his staff on May 2, 2013. The office was quiet, clean, quite nice and serene with lovely music. Initial phone contact with staff was great. Seemed to have patients of all ages and served us in a timely manner. I was pleased with my interaction with Dr. Yrastorza and his staff. He was very thorough, experienced and kind.
