Knapp came highly recommended by Orlando health. He completed 7 casts and a tenotomy on my son and then put him in BNB. There were signs of the foot becoming complex and when we asked about the heel crease and foot crease we were told they were fine. Then he insisted on doing the surgery at the hospital which was ridiculous as it can be done in office and cost us way more money and time spent for no reason. He did not explain treatment well at most visits, blew off questions, and when we went into the braces he did not explain how to use them or even put them on for us to show us. Told us to go home and put them on later, even though we didn’t know how. He made our son’s foot complex and now we are having to get it fixed over 3 hours away from home each week. Do not use this doctor for clubfoot treatment.

I wanna vent, we are 3 months into bnb I was told multiple times this was okay and this wasn’t complex foot ! I’m a first time mom and I obviously didn’t know and trusted the dr as he came recommended by a friend! I had no idea a crease above the heal wasn’t normal right after the last cast after surgery even though I asked he reassured me it was fine! Well he’s been in extreme pain crying to the point he’s getting sick every time I put on the bnb and so I had an appointment with my pediatrician today and she said this isn’t normal I needed to go back and insist on him fixing it! I go this afternoon and he calls my pediatrician stupid and it’s not complex and it must be my fault and I’m a terrible parent for letting this happen! Even though I’ve done everything I’m supposed to do! I’m so beyond upset and angry that my baby has to be now recasted and possibly another surgery and idk what that means for his future

He is an excellent doctor. Answered all our questions. Always treated us with respect. He is nice and professional.

Dr Knapp is awesome!!! He takes great care of his patients. Our son was treated by him and did an excellent job. This is the guy to see if your child needs any type of orthopedic surgery. The staff at Arnold Palmer Children's hospital are also great. We are extremely pleased with the whole process.
