Replaced both knee in 2004. Went in to get x rayed to see how they are doing. Perfect! Even after 19 years. The man and his staff are simply amazing!!

I have known Dr. Dennis for years. He replaced my knee 15 years ago and it is still perfect. It was so good to see him yesterday and have my initial concern be put at ease.

Dr. McGee alleviated a lot of my nervousness about my upcoming right hp replacement surgery and then the next surgery in January for the left hip replacement surgery. I have kept swinging from I need to cancel to no, I need to do this and now I'm sure I need to do this. He was very informative, knowledgeable, making sure I knew rules were there for a reason; and funny. I can be a little cray-cray and it was nice to see he could be too. He explained the process and after-care to me so I do not do anything to undo all his work.

He worked on my dad when he first came to Boise... And me too. Great doctor.

Dr. McGee is very thorough with his explanations regarding your problem and is attentive to all your questions. He is straightforward in his evaluation of your issues and helpful in progressing into treatment needed.

He is the Best!!. Total knee done expertly!! Healed great! Working great! Couldn't be happier

Dr. McGee performed a posterior left hip replacement for me 3 weeks ago. I will probably never wear a bikini again, but I am healing very well considering the severity of the surgery. I am facing the same surgery as soon as advisable and I will choose Dr MCGee again.

He listens to patients concerns

I had put off my knee replacement for years. Dr. McGee was recommended to me by a very good and knowledgeable friend. I was able to get into see Dr. McGee immediately. The surgery was scheduled and performed with in 3 weeks. It has now been 6 weeks since the surgery and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. It takes time to heal from the operation, by following Dr. McGee's recommendations it is healing well. Thanks you to Dr. McGee and his staff and the staff at St. Al's

Had to see a knee specialist right away. Called at 8:44 AM, they would see me at 9:30 and I was in and out in no time.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR !!!! Google him first. I will never trust another Doctor from St Alphonsus because of what he did to me. I had total knee replacement that was computer assisted and too large for me. It was loose and was a total knee failure. At his office he did a ex-ray and told there was nothing wrong with me, even told me to seek another opinion which I did. I went to St Luke’s 2 weeks later and was told it was a failed knee surgery and I had it replaced. I can’t get those 2 years back! I went through hell and all he had to say was “ There is nothing wrong with you “!!! Now I cannot trust another doctor ever!!!!!??

It was very smooth, transition from waiting to patient room to xray and back.

Awesome surgeon. Dr McGee is very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I cannot wait to get my hip replaced.

Dr. McGee is a very thoughtful and thorough physician. He takes the time to explain everything related to your case and makes sure your in the know. My case has been difficult at best and he took incredible care of me before during and after surgery. He truly cares about your physical health. His staff is amazing. From the front end reception, his Imaging team and personal assistants they are all top notch and extremely qualified to help you during your visit. Did I mention Dr. McGee is funny! It is important to mention that Dr. McGee’s surgical colleague Pamela Fields performs surgery with him is absolutely amazing in her care. Top notch!!! I can’t say enough about the care I received!

Hands down, an excellent Doctor. Dr. McGee was personable, professional and encouraging. He performed two successful knee replacements 3 months apart and I snorkeled within 10 months of the last surgery. I was and still am so relieved and thankful things worked out to have Dr. McGee as my knee specialist as he, his team and St. Al's were a breath of fresh air. I came from a terrible experience with a prior surgeon's office at another Hospital. Dr McGee didn't flinch in seeing that my case was not the 'norm'. I appreciated his empathy, kindness and the ability to incorporate solution that worked perfectly for me. The new knees are better than the originals. I am a fan of Dr. McGee and one very happy, active camper.

Dr McGee is so experienced & knowledgeable. I had an excellent experience. He gave me options & didn’t push me into having surgery. I know several people who have had hip or knee replacements performed by him with wonderful results. The office staff was really kind as well.

It was as expected. Everyone is always pleasant and professional. The only negative was an odor that set my asthma off. It smelled like a carpet cleaning chemical that I have had set my asthma off previously. I thought it was someone in the waiting that had put on way to much perfume, but it was still there when I left. Thanks

Dr. McGee analyzed my situation, counseled with me and made recommendations that have helped me to eliminate a toxic knee and replace it with a total replacement. His work is outstanding and the wound site is fantastically straight and clean. Minimum scarring shows and what does show looks great. I am four months into recovery and my knee is only slightly stiff. Little pain and discomfort occur on a stationary bike as I followed his instructions.

Dr. McGee replaced my left knee in 2014. It was an easy and fast recovery and I've had no issues with it. He will be replacing my right knee soon and I have total confidence that the results will be the same.

I was recommended by my primary care physician however I feel coming to this office was the right decision very good care very good follow-up before and after my surgery I would recommend dr. McGee to anyone that may have need for future surgery

Amazing person, very professional and very caring .

I had my right hip replaced 7 years ago--posterior approach. Dr. McGee just replaced my left hip using the anterior approach. Both procedures were very good outcomes for me but I preferred the anterior approach Dr. MCGee uses. It was a faster recovery even though I'm 7 years older.

Dr. McGee has a way of putting patients at ease even when they are dealing with severe joint pain. He is honest about treatment options and will see to it that you end up with the best possible scenario. Highly recommend.

Dr. McGee was quite impressive, friendly, honest and helpful. I asked to see my xrays and have him show me some things and he had no problem with that. We talked very candidly about what was needed, and I feel fully informed as to what my knee surgery will entail. I would recommend to anyone anytime.

Dr. McGhee was very personable..evaluated my x rays and gave me my options. He explained why other options were not to my advantage.. I was going to put off surgery until September but am now comfortable with doing it as soon as possible.

My initial visit was extremely positive. Everyone, from the front desk to nurses and xray techs, to Dr. McGee himself, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I am glad I chose this office and trust Dr. McGee to see me successfully through my surgery. I would gladly recommend this office to anyone needing their services.

Dr. McGee was the third surgeon we visited for my 93 year old fathers hip replacement. After visiting with Dr. McGee and his staff we were so relieved to find such a caring, patient and professional team. Dad sailed through surgery and was walking without the aid of a walker in a few days upon returning home. I can't express my appreciation enough to Dr.Mcgee for giving my father his life back.

Never again! Worst bed-side manner, does NOT listen to patient concerns, made both knee replacements insufficient, causing me a good five years of unnecessary pain until I returned to my Seattle knee Doctor who completed the knee revision because he immediately recognized that I had a posterior cruciate ligament tear as I told McGee I suspected and frequent falls due to knee giving way confirmed. Too much ego and insufficient follow-up.

Dr. McGee performed Makoplasty for my partial knee replacement four years ago. I could be the poster child for this procedure. I had a speedy recovery, was back to work in no time, and have enjoyed very close to a normal knee since then. I so appreciate him and helping me to get rid of that horrible bone on bone pain.

Dr. McGee has done three joint replacement procedures for me. As a surgeon, he is thorough, efficient, timely and accurate. Dr. McGee's staff is kind, accommodating and thorough (calling after hours, confirming appointments, etc.) My experiences have been phenomenal and I heartily recommend Dr. McGee, Pamela Fields and their entire staff - I am a HUGE fan.

Dr. McGee put in a hinged knee in 2010 and did not cement it in properly. The post rattled and fractured my femur. I had to go to the University of Utah to a well known knee specialist and had a revision on the upper part of the knee. The U of U doc was not impressed that McGee put in a hinged knee at my young age of 40. Now I am facing a third revision and taking the entire hardware that McGee put in. It has been 6 years of hell. I would not recommend McGee to anyone.

Dr. McGee and the entire staff at the new Joint Care Center are great!!! The new building is extremely nice and well located.

He replaced both my hips and I had very good results. I feel like he gave my life back to me because I was in so much pain before that I didn't feel like doing anything. He also replaced both my husband's knees and he also had really good results. Was a little concerned that he didn't prescribe PT but if you do EXCACTLY whay he says you will be fine.
