Dr. Devjani Lahiri-Munir

First of all let me say this . . . I know Covid-19 is going on so I’m very understanding when it comes down to appointments, wait times, etc because our health is at stake. I made an appt the week before my appt in which the man(idk who is who because this was my first time there) made my appt. he then texted me that my appt was for Monday @ 11:30 text back yes to confirm in which I texted YES. Monday gets here I was 10 mins late but the receptionist proceeded to tell me my appt was for last Friday. I then showed her the text saying it was Monday and that’s when another patient whispered “they did this to me also..” They texted her to come Mon. but her appt was last Friday. They didn’t want to see me ! They didn’t try to correct their problem. He then said if I wrote them a bad review he will never let me make an appointment there, blah blah blah . How unorganized and rude they were I will neverrrr everrrr go there again!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! customer service is H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E

Well,I must say some of the staff are exceptional, but Dr. Lahiri is another matter. She was rather rude in the way she expressed that one of my eyes pulled-it is barely noticeable, but she acted offensive about it. And what in the hell does she think I'm there for-for glasses, of course. She botched that as well, giving me only a corrective lens when I needed a progressive lens to read-which I stressed to her. I am sure she'd love it if I'd go back for a different lens or additional reading glasses. It seemed to me they are there to sell glasses, as the "good" Dr. Lahiri gave prescriptions for both my husband and adult son. I'll let them tell their own views on this. Price increases and up to 2 month wait for the glasses to be ready are the treatment you get from this optometrist. They tried to increase the price of my sons glasses, after he had already paid for them. They quickly back tracked on the price hike, when they realized he's a law enforcement official.
