Dr. Dorothea Melva Hoover

Dr Hoover is probably one of the worst doctors I have ever med as far as patient treatment. She is over bearing, quick to jump to ridiculous conclusions and borderline abusive toward her patient's. I am not sure if she enjoys being a doctor at the VA base on the treatment she has provided. The VA should terminate her because she makes veterans feel unvalued and ignored.

I saw her the first time. Mixed feelings. Good and bad. She cannot explain to me what she and her people find on my chest X-ray, she seems impatient. The Good is That she has Comprehensive health care. She will find out the best treatment for your condition. Amount of trust is not well established since I am new to her and so is she to me. Still need sometime to observe by next visit. Hopes everything alright.

She needs to retire!!!!!!! Horrible Dr to deal with..I had open heart surgery at mercy and they gave me a rx for Norco for my pain and I took to her at the VA for her to sign off so I could take to va pharmacy and she said no because she doesn't like norco!!! And tried to get her to give me chantex so I could quit smoking and flat out refused

Dr. Hoover is very thorough and detailed in her care of the VA patients at Mather VA Hospital. I credit her getting answers to my health problems.
