Dr. Douglas P Beall

Dr. Beall injected my knee after I began experiencing sudden, sharp pain after working out. My knee has felt great ever since, and I feel comfortable with the plan we discussed should the pain return. My insurance was checked, and I received communication from his staff within the same day. He knew exactly how to help, and I feel comfortable that he will make the right decisions regarding my care. Thank you Dr. Beall!!

I was referred to Dr. Beall twice. Both times I was dropped from receiving care after a conversation with front desk, who was giving me the wrong information and arguing with me. When a support person who was not in the exam room with doctor and myself, gives me instructions that are not what doctor told me, am I supposed to obey? Or question it? Right. That poorly trained individual must run the show. The doctor surely does not. Once again, a doctor loses a patient because staff is harder to replace. Apparently.

Best Dr I have been to for my back pain. Office staff great also. I give them all 5 stars.

The staff is rude and dismissive, does not answer questions or turn in paperwork in a timely manner, and is negligent but does not admit mistakes. They run a clinic for people in pain, its their business, yet they put patients off for weeks at a time while the patient is in excruciating pain, without even a phone call or a compassionate word. The young staff treats the elderly very rudely. This office is NOT recommended. We moved here from Kentucky and my husband was in desperate need of a specialist to refill his pump. We worked for weeks with this office to try and get all the documentation they needed for his transfer from his specialist in Indiana to here. We were constantly given wrong information or just run around. We spent a lot of time on the phone to both doctors trying to get this done as my husbands pump is about to run out which means he will get deathly sick. Phone call this morning from doctor bealls staff was incredibly rude and they hung up on him. My husband calls back to try and get it straightened out again and another receptionist puts him on hold and another one gets in the phone telling my husband they are refusing to see him now because it’s been too difficult of a process. Yes from them because they could never get the correct communication together. We live here now and can’t just drive 14 hours to his doctor in Indiana to sign papers. They seem to not care that my husband is in a very critical spot that could kill him if he can’t get into a doctor to get his pump refilled. I have to say that this doctor is brilliant! Not Only is he caring, he always goes above and beyond for all his patients. Staff is great and very helpful! The care he gave my mother in law was exceptional. The fact that their patient clientele is pain, they are very understanding and compassionate. Absolutely recommend!!

Great staff!

Staff does not understand insurance, shows no empathy, doesn't accept responsibility for dropping the ball. Dr. Beall is great though. Unfortunately if you need anything done that requires his staff to complete PA or paperwork there will be issues due to incompetence.

I was happy with the pain pump Dr. Beall placed 8/4/21, however, I awoke from that surgery with a spinal headache from hell. I received a blood patch on 8/11/21, which didn't work, and was just prescribed fioricet, which is not working. I need help quick! I feel like it's hopeless! Please help me Dr. Beall????

Dr and staff were friendly and informative. Explained treatment and after care and reason for same. Five stars for sure.

I can’t say enough about Dr Beall and his staff. I went there in so much pain and we no hope of any outcome for my back except surgery. He gave me so many options and HOPE! He performed different shots and I am now 100% pain free! And also and most importantly hopefully of a long pain free life with many options on managing the pain. He staff is tne nicest I have ever encountered. I am an RN and so much appreciate their kindness, willingness to answer my questions and to help me as much as possible! We were not impressed with Dr. Beale. He made a stressful time much worse with his demeaning and rude behavior. He wouldn’t answer questions we had about cancer treatment options and made us feel stupid for even trying to understand the next steps. The biopsy taken was too deep and made my wife decline within days and end up unable to breathe so we brought her to er where the doctors said the sloppy biopsy was the cause. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone. It was a traumatic experience and he isn’t someone I would trust. We were not impressed with Dr. Beale. Wonderful experience. The staff was great too. Dr. Beall took time and explained things thoroughly. It was an excellent visit and I felt like I understood what was going on by the time I left. He gave me a treatment plan. I felt better immediately afterwards

Dr. Beall performed kyphoplasty on my spine in Oct. 2018 and my pain level went from a 9 to a 1. I am very grateful for his expertise in fixing my back problem.

My visit with Dr. Beall was great. For years I have been treated for the symptoms of my problems. Thankfully, Dr. Beall Is treating the cause of my problems. I am very appreciative and grateful to him.

On August 3, 2020, Dr. Douglas Beall performed outpatient surgery on my spine, He placed a Vertiflex Interlaminar Spacer between the 4th & 5th Vertebrae and performed a Cyst Ablation. I was having severe pain in my hips and legs and I could hardly walk. I am 72 years old, and I was afraid that I would end up in a wheel chair. After some spinal steroid injections, and previous cyst drainage, I had almost given up because I didn't want to go through the pain and long recovery from Decompression and Laminectomy. It has been 6 weeks since my surgery, and I have NO PAIN, either in my legs, hips, or back. It is like a MIRACLE. Dr. Beall is a compassionate, attentive physician who is very skillful and trustworthy. I wish I would have known about Dr. Beall before my Dad, who died at 97, had to live out his last 15 years in pain. I can't say enough to give him justice, but I thank God for him every day. I would also like to commend his staff and the Renaissance Hospital.

I have been coming to Dr. Beall for over a decade to have him treat my back pain. My back pain is so severe it keeps me from enjoying many activities and I deal with incredible pain daily. I have opted out of surgery due to my age and lack of long term resolution of symptoms and I avoid narcotic pain meds. After I get my ESI; Epidural spinal injection, my pain is significantly reduced for months to years. I could not do my busy life with the severe lower back pain I deal with. Can not put into words the appreciation I have for Dr. Beall giving me “back” my quality of life. Another benefit of choosing Dr Beall is he stays current on all the latest approved modalities to treat your pain. We are so lucky to have such a skilled pain management Dr here in Edmond! Let's start with Anna she went above and beyond to get me into see your staff before my pump went. Out. She also talk. With my daughter in Portland many times to get things setup right even though for some. 20 days I was given a list of doctors who were supposed to work with me ump patience. When anna saw the list she said I was given a list of SCSdrs. As for dr Beale and the back room staff you are all tremendous. Dr. Beale told me straight about the medicines I had been given. And because is his honesty and truthfulness we are going to drive 2+ hours each way to see him. We are. Also. Going to. Dr. Bealls is an amazing physician. I would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with back pain. He quickly diagnosed my condition which was highly unusual and rare. Not a disc issue but an infection. Although my path to recovery will be long it could have been so much worse if he has not been my doctor.

I have been in so much pain over the past three months with what two Doctors, a Neurosurgeon and an Orthopedic Surgeon both described as Bursitis. Yesterday, i went to the Oklahoma Spine Hospital and instead of taking the advice of those Doctors and just going ahead with steroid injections in the bursa, he looked at the MRI and determined it was a cyst causing the nerves to be pinced in the spinal column. I am very thankful for Dr. Beall. My leg pain stopped almost immediately. I loved his demeanor and the way he explained everything to me. He showed me what the steps would be in case this did not work. He also has EXCELLENT staff. His nurses and everyone were wonderful. I highly recommend him and wish I could give more than 5 stars! Terrible staff

Terrible Staff. Not worth dealing with the staff.

Office staff is terrible. They are rude and inconsiderate. Doctor beall is okay but not worth dealing with his office.

Everyone, from the receptionist to the nurses, in his office are amazing and caring and efficient. Dr. Beall is very aware of pain on the psyche and is up to date on research. He is professional and explains everything very clearly. He was firm, when I needed it. For ex. Stressing the importance of reducing the orals to get the best trial procedure results. We always knew, that he only wanted what was best for me and that was to give me some resemblance of life back. He did just that. ??

Beall is good at what he does, but his procedures don't always work and he lives in his own little god-syndrome bubble. He will not return calls when a patient calls him, so he will never know if something has gone wrong with his treatment and/or the patient had a related emergency. Thus, his interest in his patients is concluded after his injections are done and he gets paid. The only way he will speak with a patient is through his nurse who has to take the information, find Beall when she can, get an answer, then get back to the patient. That certainly slows down the process and prolongs the patient's pain. There are other pain management doctors in the city. Find another one. I had an excellent visit on Tuesday. But have a question about how to care for my incisions after the removal of the Dermabond Tape. I thought about using triple antibiotic ointment with lidocaine and after the discoloration goes away, use BioOil to minimize the scarring. Do you have any thoughts on this. Thanks again. I have had Back pain for 10-12 years. Just dealt with it by pain management. After my first visit with Doc. He came up with a plan of attack that has got me pain free for the first time in many many hears without pain meds. He's booked up for a reason!!!

I had 4 epidurals last year with a pain management Dr. Finally, I was referred to Dr Beall. He did a different approach to injections and it was the only relief I had received. Very professional but yet personable!
