Great communicator, patient, and is willing to always listen.

Dr. Mantler completely misdiagnosed my 83 year old mother's symptoms as "age related". She has a 40 beats per minute heart beat, shortness of breath and is completely exhausted. She went back and thank God , got a PA that referred her to a cardiologist. She is getting a pacemaker today. Thanks a lot Dr. Mantler. My mom would have died if she didn't go back and talk to someone else. Not a good doctor!

Dr. Mantler is a physician who gets to the bottoms of the problem and finds the answer. He is caring and takes time to listen and then prescribes the cure. Always polite and cordial. Would refer anyone to him.

Always great to see and staff is helpful and friendly. I have been going here for years and years.

My husband has been a patient there for many years, as has his family. He called to make an appointment this morning where he told the receptionist he would be self pay this appointment due to him starting a new job and his insurance starting at the beginning of the November. This appointment was important and we were unfortunately not able to wait until his new insurance kicked in. Not only did they not offer any sort of discount, but then proceeded to tell him about several outstanding bills that we never received notice of and how he owed them money. Fine. They then went on to tell him that his sister (who mind you is also an adult) owed them money. Coming from someone who works in the health care profession, I know for a fact that this is against regulations to disclose the finical status of an adult to another adult. I am very disappointed with Papillion Family Medicine as is my husband. He has transferred his care elsewhere as of today. My husband has been a patient there for many years, as has his family. Dr. Mantler is wonderful. He listens, he takes time to explain and is very caring. He is easy to talk with and has never been judgmental or condescending. I have recommended him to numerous people looking for a new primary care physician.

I have become a bit spoiled by the superior level of care Dr. Mantler provides. He steers the direction this patient needs, not necessarily wants. He takes the time to explain the system in a thorough manner so it's common-sense to follow in tandem. No unnecessary tests, excellent referrals, and no second-guessing the doctor. When Dr. Mantler suggests you come in, you do. Meanwhile, the staff at Papillion Family Medicine is helpful and courteous. I can't say enough about their exemplary care.

Dr. Mantler always takes the time to fully explain what is going on. He answers all questions and he never rushes a patient out the door.
