Was very informative and patient with all the questions I asked. I normally get very nervous around doctors but Dr Peterson was very thorough with all her explanations of any tools being used, side effects that might occur, and everything else I asked about. Very positive experience.

My good friend was recently seeing her and had a horrible experience. My friend complained of alot of pain and she didn't do anything about it! She also told her that she would need to have 5 more appointments before she get a surgery which is needed right away. My C section went well but during the whole pregnancy she was rude. If insurance wasn’t such a complicated thing, I would have switched to another location. She rushed through my ultrasound so you could barely see my daughter in them, she uses medical terminology the majority of appointments and acts like your stupid when you don’t understand fully what she’s explaining.

Had the unfortunate experience of meeting Dr Peterson during an ER visit. Not only was she extremely rude towards me, she criticized the ER staff. The PA on duty correctly diagnosed me with ovarian torsion, but requested this poor excuse for a Dr to evaluate me before surgery. She informed me that it was likely a UTI and I just had poor pain tolerance. I asked her if a UTI showed on my tests, when she informed that she had not even looked at those results and if I really wanted unnecessary surgery she would do it. I ended up at a different ER where I was immediately taken for surgery to remove the ovary that had been without blood supply too long. One of the absolute worst encounters with a medical ‘professional’ I have ever experienced! Would not recommend to anyone!

This lady is a wonderful doctor. She was my doctor for all three of my children who are now almost 20, almost 18 and 13. She's kind, caring, easy to talk to and best yet funny! Incredibly understanding and thoughtful. She'd still be my doctor to this day if I lived in Omaha still.

I do not recommend this doctor at all. She completely lied to me about a hospital policy that turns out, was her own policy she makes so the delivery was scheduled. She required me to schedule an induction day for my child and gave me two options and only for the day of week that was most convenient for her. She pressured me into the induction by saying things like late babies could poop in the womb and then could die from it. I was a first time mom and in the middle of a pandemic I believed her because the policies at hospitals were very different each month due to Covid. Come to find out recently from someone else who worked there that this was never a policy that the hospital had. The day of my delivery she checked me 4 times and said the baby was head down. My baby was breached and was breached ALL DAY. I know this because the nurses all commented how the baby would not have had frog legs so bad if not been breached for a long period of time. I made it all the way to 10 centimeters until she found out the baby was breached, and had to go in for an emergency csection due to her not checking me correctly. I could have avoided the hours of labor and gone into a csection earlier or we could have tried to turn the baby. Additionally, she was 3 hours late to my induction appointment with no explanation. Then afterwards I had a spinal headache due to a bad epidural (Had severe pain when I got home). She told me I should go to the ER to get it fixed and didn’t help one bit. I was 4 days PP. I sat in the ER alone and scared (again this is during covid times and my husband couldn’t come with me) for 6 hours before I got help. Come to find out once I got back up to labor and delivery that she could have called them to make me an appointment to get seen right away. I completely felt like I was just another number to her. I went to my PP appointments due to them being paid for already and covered by insurance, and she barely told me anything about PP care. No tips on csection healing or anything. I got mastitis and she hardly sounded like she cared and made it sound like such an inconvenience to call in a prescription for me. I will not being going back to see her ever again and do not recommend.

We love Dr. Peterson! She is patient and understanding. She respected our birth plan and we truly felt she cared about what’s best for our family. We even got pregnant with our second sooner so she could deliver our second before we moved!

Dr. Petersen talked poorly about other patients during my appointment with her, then proceeded to send a LETTER about some bad test results instead of calling. I was appalled. Don't waste your time with her if you want empathetic, quality care.

She is one of the best! I feel she is genuinely concerned for her patient's care & wants to make sure you understand what she is talking about.. (not all Dr. Terminology), she is real with you & I respect her for that. I would definitely recommend her!!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went to Dr. Petersen for my first child. Everything went well. I was warned that she was “rough around the edges” so I wasn’t overly shocked when I met her. For my second, I went in for my first ultrasound and she didn’t see anything in my uterus (I was around 9 weeks). She “checked my tubes” and said “they look perfect, I’m not concerned about ectopic.” I told her about some abdominal pain I was having and she said “if you were having pain that bad, I wouldn’t be able to be pushing on your abdomen like I have been.” Then, when I asked for a transvaginal ultrasound (because she couldn’t see anything on an abdominal ultrasound AND the nurse already told me if she couldn’t see it on the abdominal ultrasound, she’ll try a transvaginal, she said “there’s nothing I would see on the transvaginal that I’m not seeing here.” This was a Thursday & she requested bloodwork and that I come back in five days later for another round of bloodwork to check my HCG levels. At the end of the appointment, she threw away my paperwork and said “there’s nothing on here you’d need to know about anyways.” Apparently because there was nothing that was seen on the ultrasound, my appointment seemed to be invalid and a waste of time, according to her. A little over 12 hours later, I found myself in the ER due to the pain. A student sonographer found that I had an ectopic pregnancy, a burst Fallopian tube, and a significant amount of internal bleeding because of this. A STUDENT found this. With a transvaginal AND abdominal ultrasound. But yet an experienced doctor couldn’t see it? The ER also had no record of my visit to her office or the ultrasound and bloodwork from the day prior. Horrible experience with her that resulted in a horribly traumatic life experience. I’m thankful for the ER I went to because had I listened to her orders & minimized my pain like she did, I’d be dead. I’m not sure how the negligence at this office is permitted.

I love this entire office. Every single person I’ve come in contact with is excellent and caring. Dr. Peterson is genuinely concerned about her patient’s health and well-being. I am so glad to have found Heartland Women’s Healthcare.

Staff was very friendly! They took their time and made sure I was very comfotable. Talked me through everything that they were doing, and calmed my nerves. Highly reccomend them!

Dr. Peterson is incredibly thoughtful. She explains everything fully & does her utmost to do all she can for you. She's very enjoyable to have a conversation with too, which is a plus! I've been to 3 different OBGYN's in my life & I've never felt happier with my care until now. I 100% recommend Dr Kristi Peterson.

She has helped me for the past several months in managing my PCOS. She is now helping me through my first pregnancy. I can not say enough wonderful things about this women. She does an amazing job explaining everything and has a great down to earth personality. I feel like I am actually talking to a person and I don't feel silly when asking questions.

I found her bedside manner extremely poor. I saw her for several years as a young woman. She was very rude to me on a couple of occasions, most notably when she coldly informed me of a pregnancy loss. She recommended a DNC, and then her office coded it as a voluntary abortion. I found that out months later when my insurance kept denying the claim. Medically i would rate her just average, but would not recommend her to anyone.

As i new patient i had no idea what to expect. The staff is awesome and relieved my anxiety of the visit.

Dr Kristi Petersen did my hysterectomy years ago and has delivered 2 of my grandchildren. Not only is she intelligent but she is kind and caring. I wish more doctors were more likely her.

Over the last 20 years Dr. Peterson delivered nine of my children. She is caring and has a good bedside manner

She has delivered 2 of my 3 children I loved her Has a very good bed side manner Easy to communicate with Also was able to answer my questions even after hours she has always called right back within 2in or less. I definitely recommend her I was high risk with my middle child when I found her The office staff is awesome as well

Dr. Peterson has delivered one my eight children and assisted me in 3 miscarriages. The last and most recent miscarriage her last minute intervention likely saved my life. My husband and I are so grateful for her expertise and experience.
