Elizabeth A. Stevenson-Gargiulo

I love Dr. Stevenson. She was my gynecologist for about 15 years before I moved away, and was recommended by my primary card doc. She always took time with me, answered all my questions, looked at all options for treatment, and followed up personally. It's been a few years since I moved so office staff might have changed, but in the time I was her patient, they were rarely very patient-oriented. Regardless, I always recommended Dr. Stevenson to friends, and they loved her, too.

I started seeing Dr. Stevenson for annual appointments in 2016 after moving to the area. She was highly recommended for being natural birth friendly. I'm currently pregnant and have been visiting the office frequently for tests and appointments. I always schedule my appointments in the afternoon so they are running a little late sometimes, but Dr. Stevenson always sits and talks about all of my concerns and does not rush. Highly recommend! I love her!

If you a young, healthy female NOT planning to have children anytime soon and strictly need an annual exam, this Dr may be a good option for you. If you are pregnant or trying to be, please look elsewhere. I saw this Dr annually for 6 yrs before becoming pregnant, only to have a miscarriage at 10 weeks. During one of the most tragic, painful moments of my life, she was cold, distant,and totally failed to advise me on what to expect. She literally said “well, you can try again” and left the room.

Dr. Stevenson was referred to me when I was looking for an OB who was supportive of natural labor. For my first child's delivery I was left unsatisfied with the labor, as I felt that it was more about what was convenient for my OB, not what was convenient for me. Dr. Stevenson was there for ME and MY BABY. She was attentive to my wish to have a natural birth and she actively worked with me to make it happen. I am grateful to Dr. Stevenson and the Baylor Dallas Nurses for their assistance.

Dr. Stevenson is usually running very late to appointments, and when you finally get called, she really rushes through the appointment with you. She didn't call me to give me some concerning results to a test and instead just left a note for me in my healthcare app. I expect my doctor to take the necessary time with me, both in the office and after my appointment if necessary.
