Dr Asare is a great plastic surgeon. He was very affordable too. Gynecomastia is not something you can get rid of on your own, and I am glad I found out about him. A+

Dr. Asare is the Worst surgeon I ever dealt with. He botched my gyno surgery. I had surgery with him at the end of 2022. Months after surgery I mentioned it to him and he refused to fix his mistake. Worst experience of my life. Dr. Emmanuel Asare is a terrible Doctor and has no integrity. Search his name on reddit and you will see others who were deformed by him. I am in the process of hiring a lawyer and suing him. Also he was previously sued before and lost. Do more research on this terrible "surgeon" before you give him your hard earned money.

Dr Asare is very condescending to patients and doesn't listen to their concerns without speaking down to them and calling them crazy. I'd recommend looking elsewhere like Dr. Jacobs. His assistant Alexis is very condescending during post-op treatment. When you ask questions or ask for assistance they will yell at you and complain that you are bothering them and asking too many questions. I was hesitant to do a review but I think it’s necessary. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and understand the impact reviews can have on healthcare professionals. I had surgery 6 months ago and I’m disappointed with the results. The incisions that were made were not even close to being discrete leaving a terrible scar that I now have to live with. I expressed my concern about potential tissue that may not have been removed and Emmanuel Asare was dismissive just as he was on my first follow up. I came to Dr Asare with bad gyno I’ve had since a kid. The staff was kind and answered all My questions. Dr Asare told me in my initial appointment “I promise you’ll be happy” And he came through with that promise. After my first surgery my right nipple was slightly indented because my garment was too tight. After my healing Period he did just as he promised brought me back and fixed my nipple and made my surgery look beautiful. He didn’t just discard me or give me excuses like I’ve read a lot of other surgeons did. He saw that my chest needed a touch up and took his time to fix it and make me happy. He is a great doctor and a man of his word. I would 100% recommended him and knowing what I know now do the surgery with him again. I specialize in drywall and work with one of the top companies in the city. Dr Emmanuel Asare is a life saver. I suffered from gynecomastia since a very young age and finally at the age of 21 I built up the courage to take action. To start of with I ran to about 4 other surgeons around the city for consultations and all were both overly priced and all said I wouldn’t get the results I desire without having either sever scaring or removal of my entire nipple. I began losing hope but then me and my mother stumbled upon this office and it was like a blessing come true. Dr Asare lectured me on my case and he broke everything down to a T and was so respectful and responsive to all the questions I threw at him plus they given me a very reasonable price that one can’t refuse when it comes to this type of procedure. Dr Asare, the nurses and his office were very welcoming and straightforward throughout the entire process. I was well taken care before and after the gynecomastia surgery. What normally is a scary experience was greatly lessened knowing I was in great hands and his team did an amazing job. If you are considering gyno surgery, do not hesitate to have this procedure done with Dr. Asare. Let me start off by saying I have had pubertal gynecomastia for over twenty years. Throughout the years i've always searched all around for doctors with outstanding results. In the end, I came across Dr. Asare. Dr. Asare not only answered all 200 questions I had, but was also very comforting and didn't make me feel like just another patient. The day of the surgery all I could remember is taking the drugs for the surgery and then waking up in my house. The next morning, after removing my garment I could immediately see results which were 10x better than I could have imagined. Great staff great results

Dr. Asare completed my repeat abdominal lipo procedure after other doctors turned me away because they were afraid I would have too much scar tissue. He advised me that there was no guarantee that I wouldn't have some scarring but he would try his best to get the best results he could, and boy did he deliver! I was already familiar with the office staff from my first procedure (although another doctor in the practice completed the initial lipo) and they were just as warm and friendly now as they were in 2015. Dr. Asare went above and beyond to deliver the results that I wanted and I am so excited to see my final results in a few months. Let me start off by stating I've had pubertal gynecomastia for years. Throughout all the years I would always compare and contrast doctors from across the East-coast by their work. In the end, I would always find myself at Dr. Asare and the amazing work he performs. Recently, I finally decided to have the surgery performed and went to Dr. Asare for a consultation. Dr. Asare was nothing but courteous and professional. He answered all of my 100's of questions and concerns. His assistants were nothing short of spectacular as well. Throughout the whole process leading up to the procedure they would call/text along the way to ensure I was doing alright and answered any questions I may have had. On surgery day, I found myself a little nervous as I have never had surgery prior to this day. I walk in and was greeted with the same cheerful staff that had been helping me along the way. I was then escorted to a room in their office where I was given meds to assist with the surgery. I went in expecting to be awake, but in a daze, the entire time. That thought process had made me slightly nervous as I was afraid I may move too much and affect the results of the surgery. Then right after receiving a small harmless shot, I remember waking up in my car, with my friend had provided me with a ride back home. After twenty-four hours, I was able to see the work that had been done. The results of the surgery were nothing but spectacular! After removing the garment to change the dressings, I could instantly see the results and right there I knew I made the right decision by choosing Dr. Asare. In the first few weeks post surgery, my chest had some slight swelling and puffiness to it. 1 star Terrible. my garment was too small they put sanitary pads on the spots that he left lumps at in hopes to I guess smash in. He told me not to get sculpting drainage massages and i wish I did because it probably would've helped. now i am left with a lump in the left arm a bigger right arm and when I told them I was unhappy they told me to give it time. Its been two years. I will go to another doctor that will take pride in their work and not leave me all lumpy.

He put many of my concerns at rest, and was very honest and thoroughly answered my questions. It didn't hurt either that he had over 20 years of experience and over 1000 procedures done. So I decided to go ahead with the procedure and set up the appointment. Ms. Julianna was very helpful and accommodating with my bust schedule. I drove in from Brooklyn (50 miles each way) because I felt that Dr. Asare was most qualified to perform the procedure. The surgery went smooth and there was some discomfort initially. The results were amazing! I could not believe that I waited/suffered for 20 years unnecessarily. Within a week I began to feel normal, within a month my brace was off, and now 6 months later (even though I do feel some scarring inside my nipple area) you would never tell that I went under the knife! I wanted both surgeries done at the same time because I had male breast tissue and a small gut, and I wanted a balanced result. I did a lot of research and Dr. Asare had really great reviews - after working with him and his staff, I could see why. Like many others, I had been dealing with gynecomastia since I was 12 years old. I had a pretty pronounced case with significant breast tissue and on my slim frame, I went through great lengths to hide it. I had also experienced the accompanying silent shame of having the condition. Dr. Asare was very detailed in explaining the procedure and very reassuring. This helped to ease my anxiety because I never had any surgery before and was now opting to undergo two procedures. The staff was very professional and caring and put me at ease. Juliana, Alexis and Erica are all amazing. On the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly. It was all as Dr. Asare had explained. The staff reached out and checked on me in the days after the surgery and were always on hand to answer questions about recovery and care...even outside of business hours! Saw Dr. Asare for a gyno treatment and decided to write this review because that's how I originally found him. It's been about 4 days since treatment and am very pleased with the results, even though I'm swollen and bruised up. He specializes in gyno and smartlipo procedures - Sometimes it's better to find a true specialist than a jack of all trades. Also a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Dr. Asare for anyone suffering from gyno.

Dr Asare performed the procedure under local anasthesia. The procedure was relatively painless during and after, the Dr did a great job making sure I did not feel a thing. After the first 24 hrs I was so pleased with the outcome, it's now 2 weeks and The results just keep getting better. Alexis was incredible and Julianna was so helpful with working around my schedule. I cannot explain how pleased I am with my gynecomastia outcome and the excellent care I was provided by the staff. Def recommend

I went to Dr. Asare for gyno removal. The procedure was very easy and the results are amazing! Local anesthesia was used so I was not completely under and felt no pain whatsoever. Recovery was only a few weeks, and was back in the gym in four weeks. On top of the fact that the cost was very reasonable, the staff was also super kind and accommodating. I had a consultation with Dr. Asare 2 months ago about Smart lipo. He explained to me everything that i need to know about liposuction. I URGE YOU DO NOT USE WALL STREET COSMETICS! Juliana Asare, who is either Dr. Asare's sister or wife harassed me for weeks to pay for my lipo procedure. I finally called her and was able to pay and schedule my procedure. Upon having a medical emergency, I was advised not to have the procedure. On my receipt it clearly states I would be able to get a refund of my money within two weeks. I contacted Juliana who told me she would process my refund in two weeks. I thought about smart lipo and went for just a consultation. I ended up talking to Dr Asare and having it done a week after. Dr Asare is an amazing doctor, confident and trustful who gave me my life back. Not only he did my lipo but he sculpted my body . Worst health care office experience I've EVER had. After my son's consultation, I scheduled the surgery and was handed a quote on a post-it note and told I'd need to make a deposit. When I called back to follow up some three weeks later, I was told they gave away my date and my that the cost was going up. I kept trying to explain that I was accustomed to written quotes or a bill via mail, but Juliana just kept interrupting me until she finally HUNG UP ON ME! So unprofessional.

He performed a laser lipo treatment on me a few years ago. The finished product looked terrible. I had no anesthesia and whatever numbing agent he used didn't work. It took months to recover.
