There was no long wait, This office has decent staff. What I didn’t appreciate was Dr Reed telling me which insurance I should use for her visit. I have two insurances (both accepted by her) that I am covered by in which I used the one where I didn’t have a copay (makes sense, save money right) and yet Dr Reed insisted I send her a copy of my insurance card info from my other provider so that she can get in her words “more coins” although I laughed it off. Respectfully you don’t know anyone’s situation or what they’re going through financially or hell even emotionally to even suggest such a thing. they’re coming to get seen and that’s that wether it’s one insurance or not YOURE STILL GETTING PAID!!!! I’m all for supporting black owned businesses but the shady speaking amongst co-workers and the inside jokes is a no for me and I realized once again why I stopped going there in the first place and will def be looking for a new provider ONCE AGAIN. People want to go where they feel accepted nobody wants to feel as if they’re gunna be talked about as soon as they leave the office. Get it together because some things CLEARLY haven’t changed and it’s disgusting tbh. The dr was more interested in my personal life than the actual visit … NEVER AGAIN!

MS Family medical is absolutely the best. I’ve never felt as comfortable and cared for by any other medical professional. The staff is courteous and cordial. That’s why I’ve been a patient for almost 20 years.
It hurts to have to write this bc I’ve been going to this practice for about 15 years and I remember when this practice was professional and responsive to the needs of their patients. However now it’s completely changed. They are almost impossible to contact via phone. When you leave a voice message they don’t call you back. Right now I’ve been trying to reach the office for over a week trying to get my prescriptions refilled. CVS even reached out to me to please contact the office bc they’ve had no luck. In addition, the long wait to be seen in the office is ridiculous and telehealth is just as bad if not worse. One time she had me waiting for a telehealth appt for over 2 hours!! Then they forgot about me and I had to call them back to remind them that I had an appt!! It’s pains me to write this about her but I’m at my wits end. I need a new PCP asap. I would no longer recommend this doctor to anyone .

Work Dr and office ever! They don't answer the phone's ! She doesn't really care at all about patients. I got discharged from her immediately after I complained about the office .
The wait was long, but Dr. Reed is a thorough Doctor and likes to cover every aspect of your health.
Even though I had an appointment for 11:50 and go in the room 5 mins after I get there, seen by the assistant in 10 mins I still had to wait almost 40 mins for the doctor. I mean I am used to it but when covid first began they would see you with in 20 mins of you getting there ... and got too comfortable. I like the doctors there but the waiting is their downfall. I have been a patient for over 15 years! Dr. Reed is the best, she is caring and tells it like it is! Awesome Doctor.
I love this doctor. She is caring. But since the pandemic, the hardest thing to do is make an appointment. No one answers the phone, no one calls back from the voicemails. I booked an appt. online. When I got to the appt. No one was there. I booked online again, my appt was confirmed. Then I got an email 2 days saying my appt was canceled. I need a letter of approval from her to have surgery and there is no way to contact her. I am devastated enough and this stressed me out even more.

Doctor Reed went above and beyond to makes sure that was was feeling ok . She recommended a pulmonologist that i will have a in home visit with a Nurse since i cant go in to the hospital. Thank Doctor Reed.

I actually wish I could give 0 stars. I am livid. This office is the worst. I have never experienced anything like it. I have had 3 appts cancelled and am having the worst time getting my blood pressure medication refilled. The problems that I have read in your reviews have been going on for years and continue to the present. I am sorry I can no longer tolerate a doctor that does care about her patients health and well being. This has gone on far to long. Shame ..shame ...shame on you!! Before I start I have been a patient of Dr Reed’s for a very long time and I have never had one complaint. She is a very knowledgeable doctor. However, after today I will be in search of new doctor. I was reviewed by a physician assistant immediately trying to send me off with medication, she was not sure that I needed. I am telling her my concerns about why I was there and she did not address them with full knowledge. I had to imply what I was really there for and my concerns and what I read on web MD. If I wanted a physician assistant as my primary care doctor then I would just go to urgent care all the time, which is whereI had better healthcare service. When I went for my physical not one new born nurse knew how to take blood, which involved me having to go to quest laboratories. I left with a script to see a cardiologist for what I have no idea. I do not have heart problems, and she did not review my mammogram. If I was direly sick I would have perished on the side of the road. I can’t deal with the fact that my Primary care doctor has not properly informed me that she will no longer be seeing patients, at all and going forward you will only be serviced by physician assistants. Had a telehealth appointment with Dr.Reed which was extremely convenient and dare I say safe with the current health crisis. She was incredibly informative, explained any questions I had in a way which I was able to grasp and fully understand. The front office staff was also very polite and helpful.
First time visiting this office and I am impressed. Shocked to see the negative reviews. I was seen at my appointment time with no wait, the nurses Belinda & Marisha (I hope I am remembering correctly) were so nice & friendly. I did not get to meet Dr. Reed but I was treated fine from the nurses. No one answers the phone at the Rosedale Office. You on hold forever, but once the phone starts ringing they send it to voicemail. This is a Doctor’s office, why not answer the phone. Most unprofessional place I have ever taken my kids.

Dr. Michelle Reed is a great Doctor. She is funny and insightful. However, the staff could pick up the phone more often. In person, the staff are very nice....but, they might be overly nice to me because I am horribly, ridiculously, handsome. Women faint when they see me all the time, so I get it. I just wish we had those Star Wars type communication devices where your full body image appears while you’re talking. This office is the reason why doctors and practitioners of color have a bad rep. The staff here is egregious. Day of appointment cancellation...Wow. I’m so disappointed in the lack of professionalism. Honestly making the appointment in the first place was strenuous. I was put on hold multiple times. My daughter is a mental health patient and after this incident today, we will be changing our GP. Dr. Reed's office is careless, far from compassionate, unorganized and blatantly disrespect of the care a physician takes on to provide. Dr. Reed it took a lot for me to do this publicly but today when my daughter is in pain from a rash because she is on God knows how many meds and ECT treatments, you left me no choice but share the poor service to provide to a community.

I hope they see this & all the other reviews and understand its not just annoying patients. The staff behavior and work ethic is unacceptable. This office is the size of a shoe box. The wait is over two hours and I came in with the flu and was given antibiotics and told I could not be given Tamiflu because there was a bad drug interaction. Did research and spoke with the pharmacist, there is no drug reaction. Also, if I wanted to see a PA I would go to an urgent care. Don't go here!
Medical office incorrectly billed my medical insurance and i received a 500$ bill. The issue is on the 2nd week of me going to the office 3x and leaving over 2 dozon messages. Spoke to Ivette who is the office manager who is unbelievably incompetent, sarcastic and disgustingly rude.

This was by far the most horrible experience I've had at a doctors office. I initially stopped in (as a self-pay walk-in patient) because my daughter's pediatrician was closed on that particular Monday. My 12-year-old daughter had been experiencing a common cough that had gotten worse over the weekend, and I wanted her to be seen just in case she needed an antibiotic or further treatment. The first red flag was the receptionist. She didn't smile at all and instead of having me to write down my daughter's information, she asked me out loud in a tiny waiting room full of patients that needed to be seen. I spoke to her as softly as possible because I know that HIPPA regulations were being violated. She then told me that the visit would be $150. I paid this amount thinking that my daughter would be treated by a medical doctor, but later found out there there were only Physician Assistants in the office. The assistant to the physician (Barry) was very nice and completed the initial consultation with my daughter and I. The PA on the other hand, spoke in sarcastic manner and only checked my daughter's breathing with a stethoscope, looked at her throat, and asked me the same medical history questions that Barry had already asked. The PA then told me that my daughter has allergies (even though she did not have any of the symptoms that she was describing) and a post nasal drip. She told me to purchase over-the-counter medications such as Claritin-D, Mucinex, or Allegra-D to treat her symptoms. Since she saw the mucus on her throat, I specifically asked her if my daughter needed an antibiotic. She said NO! I treated my daughter according to her suggestions, and 3 days later her cough has worsened, she is not getting any sleep at night, she is has missed additional days out of school, and I now have to come out of pocket again because she was only treated by a PA who clearly should not be in this line of business. I am very upset. I will NEVER refer anyone to this facility. I feel that the entire visit was a ripoff and based on other patients reviews on numerous websites.... I saw Dr. Reed for the first time this month. I did my research and selected her from various physicians in my area. She was extremely personable and I could instantly see she has a command over her profession and knowledge-base. My first impression was that she cares about the "whole patient" which is what I was looking for in a DO. Bedside manner was great, we spoke about life topics regarding my family, and she even recommended ways for me to improve my fitness. I think I've found my new dr.
Don't come to this practice! You'll never receive your results! When you call you'll wait over 20 min to speak to someone! Every visit is a copay! Even for results of blood work! Dr. Reed came in sick..I was her first appointment.. I waited 45 minutes for her to come in. She gave me attitude after I waited another 30 min to see her after she see saw 3 other patients first?! I was told I had her first appt slot!!! Still no results. I smell a law suit coming, can you say negligence? Malpractice?
Terrible. Awful.. Fed-up... I work for physicians... All the doctors I work for treat the patients like GOLD. Well, my experience with Dr. Reed is something I will never forget. I waited an hour for Dr. Reed to come in. I was the first appointment... Once she finally came in I still had to wait 30 minutes to see her. When her majesty finally came in the room to see me.. She was obviously sick and had the audacity to have an attitude (eye-rolling; teeth sucking) as though I did something to her?!

Considering I was only allowed to see Dr. Reed only once in the last 2 years, every other time I was given an appointment with the PA. I would not have minded this had I been told up front that I would not be seen by her. My recently experience with one of the PAs there was horrible. I assumed that he would have looked at my chart being that he was seeing me. He prescribes me a HBP med that he felt would be better with control. I tell him I am allergic to ACE inh. he gives me just that. NO GOOD
Wait time is sad..have waited over 2-3 hours for Dr reed.. Dr walker runs much more on time..they always try to force the PA on you.take u into the room.. Then wait another 25 min.. And when the doc does come in she always sends you out to a specialist.. No matter what I go for.. She rushes me off to someone else.. Like its a emergency.. An earache.. Dr.Reed office has very unprofessional staff. When you call they never answer, you have to call the garden city office to get the Rosedale office. When they do answer your on hold for 20 to 30min. My son had 102 fever and I was told he couldn't be seen until dr.reed come in cause they only had a paa on staff. Then I was told he only could be seen at 5pm that day, and he had a 102 fever . That's diff not an office for kids. Worst service ever!!! But they make sure and get the co-payment ...
Dr. Reed is a gold digger. She cares more about money than her patients. If you have a question about your prescription, you need to pay and be seen at the office. If you want results from blood test, you need to pay. The doctor has an obligation to inform her patients if something is wrong or everything is good. I should not be charged for a quick, less than 1 minute, feedback that the report came back all normal.The wait time is also ridiculously long to speak to the representative on the phon
