Good Neurologist and will give you what you need if it's warranted. No issues other then he is sometimes wishy washy. Found this to be true with some doctors. Sometimes frustrates me. One other issue ( probably due to work load ) is I feel I am on a 2 minute timer during visits. If I don't write stuff down and read them off immediately, I am done for another 6 months. I try to be polite and not interrupt while he's typing but I found if I don't he picks up his laptop and out the door and I am trying to remember what I wanted to say and say it and he's already checked out and out the door. I've seen Dr. Goldberg for several years. The reality of the 5-minute appointment was something I decided I could live with because he at least listened when I described my symptoms - something I struggled with as an invisible illness patient. He's personable and humorous, and I appreciate both traits. But his staff is abysmal. I never know when I call if I'll reach a person or a busy signal. No one bothers to identify the office or themselves when I call, making it difficult to keep track of notes (and you WILL need to make notes). As Dr. Goldberg is stretched thin over multiple offices, I've had to wait months for appointments. And when new symptoms presented? There were no options for work-ins or even a wait list for a sooner recheck. I was told I'd have to wait. Further, despite an order for an MRI, the staff waited OVER A WEEK to submit the paperwork. I then spent DAYS asking for a peer-to-peer consultation with my insurance company, getting no responses other than "a message was left." I couldn't speak to a manager, Dr. Goldberg, or anyone willing to help me. My MRI was canceled, leaving me with no options - other than to continue playing runaround with an office I can't reach or get answers from. A doctor is only as good as the staff that supports him and helps care for his patients. And the staff in this office couldn't be bothered to assist anyone. I've seen Dr. Goldberg for several years. Dr. Goldberg is very professional he addressed every issue that I've ever bought him & im extremely happy & trust him with my health care

This is a wonderful office. Thanks to everyone as patience is virtue and us as patients go through a lot however, be kind always you never know what one goes through. Personality can’t be taught so be genuine and kind. Be well everyone remember your never alone.????

I've been seeing Dr. Goldberg for 5 years. He doesn't take my concerns seriously, it took 2 years to get a diagnosis and then I had to get his nurse practitioner to sit with me for him to start giving me the proper tests for what I had, and then had to go to his nurse again just to get the proper medication. He and his staff continuously drop the ball.

I would like to give a compliment to a staff member, Morgan, who is extremely professional and helpful. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for Dr. Goldberg. My mother was referred to him by her physician after suffering extreme seizures for a year. She recently had 5-6 seizures in one day, a Wednesday, where her pulse dropped to 20 and her blood pressure was alarmingly high. Her primary sent her to Goldberg for an evaluation and to get a letter to clear her to go back to work on that following Friday. Knowing that she had just suffered multiple stroke like seizures two days prior, (I personally called and gave a very detailed description of my mother’s seizures to his staff Friday morning before her appointment) Goldberg cleared her to return to work before she completed her MRI and tests to understand what is causing these seizures. Her primary physician would not even clear her to return to work, because they understood the severity of her illness and did not want to take on the liability of something happening to her before she was properly tested and diagnosed. Goldberg did include in his letter that she could not drive for the time being, yet knew she drove to his office to get a clear letter and then drove herself to leave his office. There are many people who have witnessed her seizures and know how serious this is, yet this medical “professional” is not competent enough to realize the dangers of allowing a patient in her state to continue working and let her drive off of the property, endangering herself and others. I feel his judgement is less than poor and his decision was unethical. We put our trust in doctors to keep us safe. I wonder if he would have neglected his own mother in the same way he did mine. Was running late tried to call but the phone lines were not open. Office opens at 8:30 but phone lines open at 9:00. I drove 40 miles only to be told I had to reschedule

Seems like a nice guy, but clearly incompetent and dangerous. Dr. Goldberg misdiagnosed my husband with ALS (!!), but a second - and then third - opinion confirmed it was actually side effects from a cholesterol-lowering medication. We went through a miserable time, but now my husband is absolutely fine. Dr. Goldberg, may God bless your patients.

The staff are very helpful and the office is really clean Dr. Goldberg is the best neurologist because I went to him when I lived in Suffolk.

I started having seizures and was sent to him. He told me “if you lose 50 pounds I guarantee you will never have another problem again”. 6 years later and still have seizures. Oh, and I lost 70 pounds!

I call the office multiple times each week and they never call back. They still can't figure out how to put the correct diagnosis code on my paperwork to get my MRI approved. It's simple, I have a lesion that needs to be monitored every six months to see if it is growing. This has been going on for over a year. If you need medical care, do not go to this doctor.

Dr. Goldberg has been my neurologist for many years. He is an excellent provider! He truly listens to his patients! Also the entire staff are kind and efficient!

Dr Goldberg has a nice personality; however, If you feel your health issues may be serious or life changing, I would suggest finding another practice where patients take priority over beating the clock! They just don’t have the time or means to effectively care for patients in a timely manner. Some people have issues were time is crucial and waiting months is unacceptable. Unfortunately, It seems no one really cares until it’s them or their family going through something. My last appointment, I was rushed out before I could even explain all of my symptoms! Best doctor. Listens well and knows what to do. I've never had a problem with the office staff. Very professional.

Dr. Goldberg is the BEST neurologist that I have seen in 4 counties! He listens, orders tests instead of "guessing" and making false diagnosis and has you follow up accordingly! I don't care how far I have to travel, I WILL NEVER SEE ANY OTHER NEUROLOGIST UNLESS I HAVE TO!!

Dr Goldberg is the blessing I needed. He was understanding and took the time to help find the cause of my migraines ... Even though there is no cure, he has helped manage the pain. Dealing with his office, I've never had to wait more than 10 to 15 mins to be seen. Dr Goldberg is amazing.

The office staff were rude and unprofessional. The signs posted all over the front glass are very unprofessional and tacky. We had 2nd thoughts when we saw all that, however Dr. Goldberg was very nice and explained everything to us.

All he did was look at my chart and spit out the same information he saw. I do not agree with my charts. I was showing him my pressure points on my head and he did not even bother to look up or engage. No personal care, therefore I will not return. Looking for a doctor who will make sense out of my situation. I don’t believe he listened or took his time. During his assessment I stepped on his foot , indicating he needs to slow down. And to top it off he actually prescribed me with Meds im already on, same dosage after our discussion about what I’m currently taking. The Receptionist does not have manners. My mother receives great care. She and her doctor have a great rapport. He takes his time when dealing with his patients.

Very dismissive. Office couldn’t find my records. I filled out a medical release so they could request my hospital records and a week later I called and hey told me they didn’t see it. Horrible service. Horrible staff.

Very professional

It is nice to tell a doctor what is going on, and he tells you what it is rather than having to do research myself. He listens closely and finds out what is going on.

Dr Eric Goldberg is a very professional, compassionate and knowledgeable neurologist! Enough said! Wow, he is the 3rd neurologist whom has treated me for narcolepsy and tell you he meets all my standards and qualifications I want in a neurologist as the 1st two neurologists!

Dr. Goldberg is an excellent dr. He was able to do me in minutes when I had spent years going to 3 other neurologist that ran multiple test and did have a clue. All he did was talk to me and results of tests done by other doctors, along with an assessment also.

Dr. Goldberg has been my Neurologist for nearly 20 years. He has always treated me with compassion, empathy and respect. I value his passion and gifts for Neurology, and would recommend him with the highest regard for his expertise, ability to treat and teach patients about their disease and his respect for his patients.

He's been my epileptic doctor for over 10 years now. I would highly recommend Dr Goldberg to anyone. That needs a highly qualified doctor like dr. Goldberg. Great staff too.

WARNING! Dr Goldberg fails to return calls. Fails to inform of test results. Absolutely cannot be reached over the weekend even in the case of an emergency. Will include false diagnosis on patient's result reports without explanation.
