Mr. Hemang H Shah

Twelve years of treatment of various family members for complex neurological disorders have revealed Dr. Shah to be a highly competent and caring physician. He is a very personable doc’ who emphasizes safety as well as efficacy of therapy. We are comfortable and confident in his care.

HE IS THE BEST. GREAT RESP. AND NURSES. HE LOOKS OUT FOR YOUR HEALTH.

VERY knowledgeable, especially on medications. Can be a little hard to understand, but if you work with him he's a very good MD.

Dr. Shah is great! Quick, fast, efficient. I appreciate a good Dr. Good wait times, never have an issue with scheduling. I've been going to see Dr. Shah for some time now and have no complaints.

Terrible doctor and despicable person. Clearly only cares about making money. I would not send anyone near him.

I seen Dr. Shah today (October 14th, 2020) for my botox injections, due to my migraines I get. I've had injections done many times by myself, nurses, and another doctor. He by far is the best at them. I hardly felt the stinging. He made sure I was okay throughout the whole process all 23 shots. He talked to me the whole time so I didn't focus on what was happening since I was nervous, I let him know I was since I am used to doing them myself. He was all around amazing. I will continue to go to him to have them done hands down. I didn't have any bruising afterwards or any swelling. Not even a small amount after an hour the tiny amount of puffiness I had went away. First time getting Botox for migraines. Dr. Shah was personable and explained everything as he did the procedure. Tidewater is the best place to go if you're looking for a knowledgeable neurology team!

Barely two stars. Go to a different doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Shah for many years. I have had no issues with him or his staff. He is a neurologist and a sleep specialist, not a respiratory therapist.

I would not recommend this Dr. or the sleep study office next to him. Its my opinion he has no personality or concern. Very little time is spent with you and he does not explain things. The staff seems confused when it comes to your insurance. I rode 45 mins. to pick up a cpap machine only to leave empty handed because they had not sent a prior authorization or clinical notes for the approval. Very disappointed with everything and needless to say the girl was late for my sleep study.

Strange Place. Dr always trying to sell supplements or other products. Used to not be this way.
