I was very upset when I came in for a band change on my braces when one of the staff members used her nails to grip on my jaw and then once she was done with the appliance of the band it felt strange and did not feel the way it felt the first time i got it honest I am not happy at this

Our daughter has been under the care of Dr. Wu for the past year and we have no complaints. We never had a long wait for our appointments and everyone we dealt with was very professional. We are happy with the results of our treatment and will continue so use Dr Wu in the future for our other children.

Dr. Wu is an amazing orthodontist. In this age of digital dentistry, Dr. Wu was able to take a digital impression of my uncle using his Invisalign scanner and send me the impression over the Internet. With this technology, we were able to avoid the normal impression material and discomfort of gagging and also all the hassle of using snail mail. Dr. Wu and his office is on the cutting edge of digital dentistry and digital orthodontics and his office has all of the most recent technologies needed to provide excellent care!

Dr. Wu and staff are very professional. My son had his teeth aligned two times and we are very happy with the results. The appointment is always on time and the assistants are very nice and gentle. We would recommend this office to our family and friends!

I can't say enough about how awesome NuSmiles and Dr. Wu are. I'm an older patient who never had braces before -- and never had children who needed braces either -- and everyone was super nice and helpful. My issues were fixed even to a greater extent than expected, and I'm very happy!

Thanks to Dr. Wu and his wonderful staff for perfecting my son’s beautiful smile. His teeth were literally all over the place. My second son also needs braces and I know exactly where I’ll take him.

My son started this journey a year and 7 months ago with Dr. Wu. Before moving into the area and meeting Dr. Wu I didn’t know the severity of my sons condition. I was told he would grow into his underbite and he’ll need braces but not soon. He’ll be fine. (That’s all I was told he had) I was referred to him by Columbia Pediatric Dentistry, and I’m glad I was. I found out there was more to his condition than what I was told initially. He showed concerned for my son, he also answered any questions I had when it came to my son. Even throughout the pandemic I felt my son was his top priority. Dr. Wu cares about his patients. Here is my story. I have always had horribly crooked teeth and finally when I had enough money to get braces I started with my Dentist who advised that my teeth could be corrected using a product called Clear Correct which is a brand or teeth straightening aligners like Invisalign. The process was supposed to only take 1 year; however, after 3 years and multiple corrections my teeth were still not straight. After the retirement of Dentist and acquisition of a new one I was referred to Dr. Wu of NuSmiles Orthodontics who told me the truth about my case. He said that I should have never been placed in teeth straightening aligners because I had a complicated jaw deformation. I was placed in traditional orthodontics and even had to go through jaw surgery to realign my upper jaw. Dr. Wu and his team took wonderful care of me, was very nice and professional. Dr. Wu referred to the best oral surgeon in Maryland and throughout the whole process I was out of my traditional orthodontics 3 months earlier than planned. I would refer Dr. Wu to anyone who needs orthodontics. I had the most unpleasant dental experience at NuSmiles w/ Dr. Wu. The facility is really nice and clean, however, the level of care that I received is subpar. So much as that I have to resort to legal action. As someone below mentioned, the facility is staffed with very young women, and on several occasions I experienced pain due to their lack of carefulness during our maintenance appointments. My end results of my braces were terrible. I asked Dr. Wu to provide some alternative options and he informed me that I should have another "orthodontist" fix the issues. We're about 60 days out and I STILL have the glue on my teeth from the braces with Dr. Wu. Dr. Wu was extremely negligent and must be held accountable. I normally don't like to write poor reviews, but I feel too strongly not to share my experience with others. I really loves the environment nusmiles has they make you feel comfortable and they also explain everything vary well to you. When I first came I had a huge overbite and they where able to fix it

Dr. Wu and his staff are wonderful, the environment is clean. Dr. Wu is very patient and caring for my two sons, and we can always get an appointment when we need one. Dr.Wu is a great, extremely nice doctor who knows what he is doing! I completely trust in him for both my kids needs. I don’t think my sons teeth could get any straighter!! We’ve had such great results and I highly recommend Dr. Wu and his wonderful staff for everyone’s orthodontics needs.

Terrible system, the only way you can schedule with them is through email, emailing back and forth 5 times to set a date is a terrible way to do it. Why can’t you do phone system like everyone else?

This orthodontist is the absolute worst. He has a bunch of very young women working for him doing a lot of the work and they often do not seem to know what they’re doing. My child’s brackets would always fall off very soon and it was not because he was eating a bunch of things he shouldn’t. He was diligent. Yet every time we would go there the doctor would berate us like we were children in a principles office. before i came here my teeth were all over the place. one of my teeth were stuck in my gums with no where to go and my teeth were all out of place. now my teeth are straight as can be. they give you everything you need for braces. all the instructions were very clear too! if my brother ever needs braces hes definitely going here!!

NuSmiles Orthodontics is great!! My daughter loves everything about it. Dr. Wang and the entire staff are wonderful. The practice is so clean and new. They have different contests which my daughter loves to get involved with. She is always telling her friends about the points program for her efforts to do a great job and following all the rules and guidelines of having braces, retainers, etc. We took recommendations from friends and went 4 places for consultations. In the end we picked NuSmiles because our daughter loved the atmosphere, she liked Dr. Wangs kind approach, and we loved the price. All 4 said she needed the same work, but NuSmiles came in significantly lower priced. As a bonus she got her braces off earlier than expected for Phase 1. Her smile is beautiful!! Thanks NuSmiles!!! They work quickly and efficiently, but they also take care to make you feel comfortable by greeting you with genuinely warm smiles, even if they've had a hard day.
