Honest and professional. Dr. Garcia has never rushed me out of her office, she gives her patients a lot of one-on-one time. Her office is very clean and well kept.

100% dismissive of anything I had to say, told me I was going to die several times and even held her fingers up to me to tell me how “close” I was to dying if I continued living the way I do. I came in for stomach pains and she blamed it all on marijuana use and told me i’d never be healthy if I wasn’t dealing with my “trauma that started since I was younger” with no prior knowledge of my past. Asked why I wasn’t going to school and when I said I didn’t want to she said i’d never be happy or healthy if I was only working to make money. When I told her I wanted to work in the marijuana industry she said “is that what you want to do? aid other people in damaging their selves?” I told her I don’t believe it damages people. If I could give zero stars I would! I don't know where to begin...Gets bothered when we ask questions and rushes during an apt if it's near their lunch time. She prescribed a medication that had been recalled for a while now. She told my mother she was fat and told my dad that it's our fault covid doesn't go away(not going into details) After she recieved the results for my dad's ct scan she said she could no longer see him. I asked her for a referral to a different doctor but didn't want to. We were pretty much on our own. This doctor is incompetent and absolutely unprofessional. She belittles her patients. I got into it with her because she was extremely irritated that I had called her to ask her a question about my dad's medication. I'm so glad she sent us off because we were not going to stick around!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would! Dr Garcia was a very professional. she made me feel very comfortable, found my new doctor

Dr. Garcia and her staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. Her new office is larger and has a very comfortable waiting room. I have always been able to get an appointment within a week of calling and, after arriving for my appointment, have seldom had to wait more than 10 minutes before being called back. I have trust in Dr. Garcia’s expertise and guidance.

I spent 3 hours each way on a YARTS bus plus additional wait time from Yosemite national park to her office in Merced on 2/13 only to find out that whoever in her office took my appointment was incorrect and my insurance was not accepted. When I called to set the appointment to establish care, I let them know how far I was coming from. I had to push myself in my wheelchair two miles from the YARTS stop to her office. My hands were raw, red, and blackened for my efforts. When I held them up for them to see, their apologies were so apathetic and fake it upset me enough to shout and call them eff-ups without an ounce of guilt. Dr. Garcia's front office cost me an entire day, and several undue hardships. The dr. herself couldn't have cared less. She even tried to tell me her practice had no legal representation when I asked for their contact information. James P. Dr Garcia is a compassionate doctor, she promotes well being medically and physically. She encourages patients to positively participate in their own wellness and is there for support but also holds you responsible. I like her, she is fresh, real and to the point. Many thanks she is a blessing.

Dr. Garcia and her staff are awesome! They are all very kind and caring.

I appreciate the doctor that takes the time to get to know the patient and their concerns and she is one of them. She is very thorough and strict but I am sure she only wants the best for my health. There's been times when she takes her time from the weekends to give me a shot or calls me herself and follow us up with me to make sure I am ok. I know that my visits are worth what I'm paying for. Waiting time is the thing I dislike the most but I know it's worth it when I leave the office content!

This Dr. seemed cold and upset. I was a new patient, she did not shake my hand, say it was nice to meet me, or anything. She seemed like she was upset about something, maybe it was because I am in a same sex marriage and she was not happy about that, as my wife was with me. When I asked her if she was upset about something, she was combative and said that there was no reason to go forward if this was how I was going to treat her. I was really sick, ended up at the ER. I needed help, I was in pain, I started crying and asked her to please help me, she kept berating me about how I was treating her. She said she needs to think and process my symptoms and that she always speaks the truth, and that she did not need new patients. She sent me away to the hospital. She wanted to know why I had not gone to the hospital in the first place. I'm not a doctor, and I did not know that I needed to go to the hospital. Needless to say, I need a Dr. that is friendly and compassionate. This doctor is neither of these things. My Doctor search continues. Just for the record, all I did was ask her if she was upset about something or if she was mad. I did not try and disrespect her or upset her, but I did not feel like she wanted me in her office. I went to see her for an overall health check and she was very rude and dismissive of questions I had about my health. Then she asked me why I hadn't shaved my legs. I told her I just didn't feel like it. And she kept asking why and how often and when was the last time I shaved my legs. I went in for a physical, that's it. And she was so focused on why. Then I called months later to see if I could make another appointment with her as a last resort since I could see anyone else asap, and they told me that since I had seen a different doctor since I had seen her the first time, I could no longer see her. I told them I wanted to see the other one because I could get seen sooner and I was hurting. But the woman just kept saying the same thing; you decided to see a different doctor so you can no longer make appointments here. Out of all the doctors I've had experience with in the bay area, Sacramento area, Colorado, and now here in merced, she is the worst doctor and that is the worst office to deal with. Was looking for a Spanish speaking dr for both of my parents & she was one of the few that came up. Almost immediately she said she found something wrong & requested blood work after blood work prescribing medicine after medicine. Not to mention every time any type of form has to be filled out, it's $25/pg! She did make them feel comfortable & was very strict with them for their own good but my mom decided to get a 2nd opinion & turns out she's perfectly healthy! Finding new dr for my dad asap

She is nice & very thorough. However every single visit for seven years, I'd have to wait at least an hour to see her. Never once was I seen on time. Very frustrating.
