FUTURE PATIENTS BEWARE: Please read this review if you are considering service with Dr. Felder. **From my experience, Dr. Felder's office appears to cater to marginalized communities with a focus on managing poor diet-related ailments and diseases: For example, heart disease and type 2 diabetes. This is very amazing and valuable to the right people-- but not relatable to me or my health concerns as a 28 year old, fit, white woman. Had I known this ahead of time, I would not have gone here. I went to see Dr. Felder to establish a primary care doctor in the Tampa area, she had availability so I didn't think too much about it. I came in 20 min early for my appt. per the request of her office staff, and despite that, she was 30 minutes late to see me, without even acknowledging it. I had an organized list of all of the health items I wanted to cover in my visit as well as all of my blood work and panels pulled up on my phone, which was also suggested by her staff 2 weeks prior when I made the appointment-- and Dr Felder did not even look at it. As I went through my list of items throughout our visit she was snappy, uninterested, and defensive, and appeared to be overwhelmed by my need for care. At the end of the appointment, she actually suggested to refund my visit--and refused to give me the specialist doctor referrals and prescriptions as result. When I protested to her that I needed those referrals, Dr. Felder suggestively stated that she did not want me as a patient and physically escorted me out the front door.... I've never experienced this type of treatment by a licensed professional in my entire life, this was a huge waste of my time, so I write this in the hopes you don't make the same mistake. Today 1/22/2021, I contacted the office to discuss possibly becoming a patient of Dr. Felder's. I was excited to find a Doctor who was woman of color and plantbased. As I too am a woman of color who's been vegan for seven years. When I called the office, I left a detailed message speaking clearly and slowly. A few hours later I received a call back from the Doctor's receptionist. She stated that she couldn't understand my name, claiming that I said it too fast. No problem I said, I repeated my name and that's when the disrespect began. After hearing my name she stated "that's why I wasn't able to understand it". She went on to explain that she gave her children easy strong names, names that were neutral, so that on an application people wouldn't know WHAT they were. Yes people this actually happened...I add no embellishments. She then had the nerve to say that she would consider my name as a middle name for her children. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, because I do believe the woman I was speaking to was also a woman of color. My name is elegant and beautiful. My mother, created my name when I was in her womb. It was spiritual for my parents and loving. It was not filled with fear of what it would look like on an application...what a daunting and limiting mindset. My name has served me well, because the spirituality and love that was put into creating my name, also created me! I also learned later in life, from my college professor, that in Hebrew my name means wonderful life. What a loving and spirit-filled gift to give back to my mother. I hope my detailed explanation serves as a lesson to that receptionist and anyone else who may be reading this. Well suffice to say I fell out of interest in continuing on, so when I questioned the kind of appointment she was signing me up for, and her response was accompanied with an attitude. I kindly asked her to remove all the personal information and wished her a good day. I feel bad rating the doctor as I've never met her, but as we know in business your staff represents your company, and as a doctor this particular staffing model directly represents you, Dr. Felder. Dr. Felder, I hope that you will be able to read this and educate your staff on how to speak to potential clients, as I can only assume you wish to stay in business. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I saw her online, called jer office and she had an appointment available the same day. Well now I know why. I was so excited to be seeing and meeting a black doctor, and female too. I just knew I had hit the jackpot. So I went to see her. When I got to her office and in her presence, she basically asked why was I switching doctors (at the time, the doc I had was an old white man). I didnt see why that was relevant, and the way she asked was rude but I answered anyway. She had terrible bed side manner and she basically told me the reason I was in so much pain in my back was because of my weight. Well, she was wrong. I have since found the care I needed from anothwr doctor. Its a shame when doctors feel as if they are so good they can treat people a certain way. She was terrible. Never again. First of all, I did telehealth appointment bc thats how all the first visits go. She was 30 minutes late to my appointment with no apology, didn't ask how I was, didn't even look at me unless it was annoyed. She kept trying to end the call everytime I spoke but I would have to say wait. All she did was look at her computer and read the extensive patient paperwork I had to do days before. I made this appointment to get refills on my inhalers bc I have asthma and I have been using expired inhalers due to know insurance. She would not refill my inhalers when I literally use it to survive. She "doesnt like to just prescribe medication". Well lady I need it to live I don't care about the natural way. She then tried to hang up again and I mentioned I am sick bc she never let me mention it before hand and told me to "gargle salt water". She does not care about her patients, their medication and just cares about moving onto the next one. Worst experience of my entire life and a waste of my money, I will NEVER go back. I have been seeing her for about a year now and she is fantastic. She is hesitant about prescribing meds and is focused on what you eat and your diet. I never had a doctor actually talk to me about what I am eating and I love it. Most doctors I feel will find any reason to give you a prescription to make that $$$ but not Faith. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming. My only gripe is they charge a yearly fee but thats it. I have been seeing her for about a year now and she is fantastic. Dr. Felder is wonderful and I will recommend her to my friends and family. After reading other reviews, I understand how someone might be put off but Dr. Felder is honest, focused, experienced and direct. If you aren't prepared to hear the truth, then you aren't prepared to take responsibility for your health. I love the added bonus of supporting a brilliant black female doctor with a great taste in art! Dr. Felder is wonderful and I will recommend her to my friends and family. Great physician!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with doctor. She walked into the room where I greeted her with a warm hello as a new patient, and she did not introduce herself or say hello - she just started taking my temperature. She did not smile at me once. She was very rude the entire visit. It was so bad that I had to end the visit early. She laughed and said :Good luck with your health." I walked out and she walked to the receptionist behind me, threw my paper on the desk and stated "Refund her." She then immediately walked away, went into her office and closed the door. Dr. Felder has a wealth of information on how to improve your health. The staff at the office are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place 100% especially because of the health tips.

I was in need of a new pcp / internal specialist after my current pcp of 17yrs changing to a V.I.P. Doctor program. I really wanted a doctor that was about patient care, not just placing me on medications just because, was detail oriented, got to know me as a patient, and had a great staff! ( Stephanie is Great!) Well I found that in my first visit with Dr. Felder, and I can’t wait for my follow up appt on 3/1 and all future appts. The best change in 2018 thus far.

I've been going to Dr. Faith for 6 years. I love her! By far the most thorough physician I've ever been too. She keeps me on my toes and stays on top of my health. She has a wonderful bedside manner and genuinely cares about her patients well-being. If you're looking for a fabulous doctor, Dr. Faith is the one you want!

Dr. Faith gave me a physical. It was a splendid experience from the moment I walked into the office until my departure. The office ambiance was relaxing. The front desk staff perfectly blended pleasantness with professionalism. My appointment started on time and Dr. Faith was prepared to discuss my labs in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner, the moment we sat down. She was patient and thorough in her explanations and I left knowing exactly what I need to do to live healthily. Top notch Dr

Dr. Faith is incredible. I just moved to Tampa is was recommended to Dr. Faith. When you first walk into her practice you will immediately noticed the difference. It is a very homey feel - on top of that - the receptionist was playing neo soul music. Both her and the receptionist were very nice. She prides herself on having a one on one experience with her clients. Because of this, they run a very strict schedule, do not be late to your appointments. On my first visit she went into detail about my personal and family medical history. Then, scheduled me to have lab work done. So, she could have a baseline to work from. Dr Faith is an amazing . She is consistently checking and reevaluating my health to determine if medicines can be reduced or removed and guiding me in how to improve my longevity and quality of life. I never have to try to remember what tests need to be done or what we talked about at the office visit, because I always receive an envelope with prescription refills, tests to be done, appointment time and instructions. Waiting time is very brief and the staff are courteous and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Felder is a no-nonsense physician and I feel compelled to follow her instructions to improve my health. If you're ready to make a change and get down to business, this is the doctor for you. The office staff is friendly and efficient!

I have been to many PCP's but this my far has been the best. The culture in the office with the staff and Dr. Felders care for preventative measures is simply amazing !

Dr. Felder and her staff are amazing! From my very first visit at the office, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable both by the friendly competence of the staff and the pleasant environment of the offiice itself. Dr. Felder inspires the utmost confidence by her smile and no non-sense approach. She wowed me with her wealth of knowledge, skill, and professionalism. I have been going to Dr. Felder, for about 2yrs. Dr. Felder is very thorough, direct and caring physician. one of the main things i love about Dr. Felder, she's a health conscious person, whom takes pride in being healthy and making sure you do the right thing to maintain a healthy body.

I have been under Dr. Felder's care for many years and I am so gratefull for her insight and guidance concerning my health issues. She is very personable and caring and I am very fortunate to have her as my doctor.

Horrible. I went in for a required blood test for a surgery. I really didn't even need the physical as it turns out. I never got the blood results and wound up having to pay another lab for it, but Dr. Faith demands payment. She was also not that nice in person.
