Dr. Fernando Guillermo Torres

Absolutely the most unprofessional, recklessly irresponsible psychiatrist on the planet. He is never less than 4-5 hours late when conducting a telemedicine appointment, he would call me at 9:45pm for a 2pm appointment. He would speak to me for 2 minutes and then forget to call my prescriptions into the pharmacy!

Terrible excuse for doctor care... don't reven work out of any of the listed addresses.. secretary works out of her house...

This dr failed to keep my apt and refill my prescription. Then lied and said I was demanding medication. Well I was under the impression that my Dr should care about my mental health to do his job. When I was not able to get my refill I went back into anxiety episodes and yes seriously needed medication. I didn't demand ,I begged for the care I needed that he was to lazy to care about. If I could leave zero stars I would. I made an appointment over 2 weeks in advance, as a new patient. On the day of the appointment, I got a call from the receptionist telling me that the "appointment" would be over the phone, and that she needed to collect my copay. I didn't really agree with a psychiatric appt over the phone, but I gave her my card info anyway. So the scheduled time comes and goes, I get no phone call from the doctor, no explanation as to why. At the end of the day, I called and got the voicemail, so I left a message instructing that my card not be charged. The next afternoon, a charge shows up on my card for a call I never got. And when I called the receptionist back to ask why she charged me, she had no idea that the doctor hadn't called. And she said that she didn't get my message because she "had a migraine". Wow. So unprofessional on so many levels. And I'm still waiting for my money to be refunded.

He inherited a medication regiment that was already working for me from my last psychiatrist so he did no work there. Which would have been fine but he is the most irresponsible mental health professional I’ve ever encountered. Because he couldn’t be bothered to check his messages he left me without medication for seven days once. My first month ran out and when I went to the pharmacy they told me I had no refill even though he told me he sent three months worth. This has happened multiple times and he still acts just as irresponsibly. I feel no guilt in claiming he plays with his patients lives through his lack of organization and indifference. His receptionist does her best to relay messages but at the end of the day his actions show he doesn’t care. I’ve had more than 7 psychiatrists in my life due to insurance changes and he is by far the only one I think has legal grounds to get his license suspended. I carry no ill will towards this man. I just hope this comment can save a life because seven days without medication that you need is dangerous for a lot of people. Thank goodness my afflictions are mild compared to others. Dr. Torres is the Best Psychiatrist in this Whole World. He is well mannered and he is concerned about my illnesses that I suffer from daily. He listen and he is a very caring helpful Dr. I suffer from Bi Polar 1 major depression. Major , Anxiety and have had ADHD since I was 14 years old . My major sever depression is real bad to where it makes me cry all the time and my illness makes me feel worthless , hopeless and very sad and mentally sick. Without, my medication. I well in up in the Hospital. I am thankful that Dr. Toress is helping and prescribing me the Right medication to help me with all my Mental illness that . I suffer with daily.. Living with these major illness for life time helps me to know that. I am able to seek help from my Dr. that is Educated with helping people like me that suffer from major depression and all my mental illnesses. Without my meds. I am not stabled. DR.Toress has been the Very Best Psychiatrist for .me he listens and he is a very caring doctor. I am also grateful for Gloria his Receptionist she is very helpful , understanding and is very friendly. I Recommend you to seek Dr Toress to be your Psychiatrist. He was my doctor when I was a kid he is one of the best doctors

I have no problems with Dr. Torress People complained because he is always running late but what many don't know is that drivers too College Station everyday to test patients at risk prairie behavioral health unusual from 7am to 12noon but those days do run over when it comes to new intakes, and to discharge others. It nice to know that should I need a place like that it available. Afterwards he drives as quickly as he can to get back home to his pvt. Practice to see patients there. He's been my doctor for a couple of years and plan on going nowhere just yet. Thanks for all you and your your staff does Dr. Torres . S.W.M. Excellent Five ***** The Best Doctor in this Whole World . With out my meds for my major Depression disorder fighting Bi Polar 1 and many other mental disorders. I we could be in th he hospital. He has always very respectful . And, listen to all my problems. My doctor is well mannered and he cares about me as his Patient. He is well Educated in his field of work.
