Unprofessional staff and outdated office. Constantly an issue to get anything done.

Dr. Mintz is the best doctor I’ve ever had in my 71 years! He was my physician for eleven years when I lived in Syosset and I was sad to have t change doctors when we moved to Brooklyn. He’s very caring and competent, and always takes some time after the exam to discuss results and anything on your mind. He’s also a very nice guy. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Dr. Mintz is a godsend. A thorough and caring doctor. He's an incredibly hard worker with a fantastic bedside manner. He's helped me in my life for over 15 years now. I would drive 75 miles out of the way to keep him as my doctor.

We have been patients for over 30 years and depend 100% on his knowledge and plan for a healthy life.!!!Walter

Dr. Mintz has a very pleasant and cordial bedside manner. He is also thorough. I’ve been seeing him since 2012.

Dr. Mintz is the most caring and kind doctor I've been to, and Dr. P is amazing! The staff here are all incredible. Yes, they are busy at times, but the wait is never long compared to other practices. Usually, I'm in and out. If I ever need anything, or forget to make an appt, etc., they bend over backwards to help every time. Highly recommend! Have been a patient of Dr. Mintz since late teens. I am now 44. A short review would be insufficient in describing how wonderful Dr. Mintz nor the extent to which he had helped in many areas of my life. Doctor Mintz and his staff are the most professional and caring health care team I have experienced in new york! Doctor Mintz is very experienced and a great diagnostician, he gives each patient enough time and care and is the best primary care doctor anyone can wish for.

Great doctor who gives you his time and answers all questions and does not rush you at all. Subsequently, an hour and a half wait in the waiting room for an annual physical resulted from his good bed side manner...

He is the best most thorough doctor. He is such a caring understanding man and will sit with you and listen to you no matter how long it takes. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I've been seeing Dr. P now for at least 10 years ...my husband started and now my grown children are starting we all love him ..very compassionate ...very knowledgeable and very understanding the girls in the office are the best !!! I never thought it would be so easy to go to the doctor !!

Dr. Mintz is a very friendly thorough doctor. He is up on all the new testings and his exams are thorough. He takes his time to discuss everything with you. However, what we love the best about Dr. Mintz is that he knows who you are without looking at a chart. Recently, my son was in his office for his yearly check-up. My son saw Dr. Piccinone that day. When Dr. Mintz saw him in the exam room, he stopped to say hi and asked how his job was going and knew exactly where he was now living. I was soooo impressed that I had to write this review. I've been seeing Dr. Mintz for the last 15 years. I only have good things to say about him and his staff. He spends all the time you need explaining your diagnosis.

Had heard thru friends how much they loved going to Dr Mintz. Since I wasn't too thrilled with the lackluster experiences I was experiencing, I figured I'd take the drive out to see if it was all that it was cracked up to be. Very pleasantly surprised at how attentive the staff was and how thorough they were with tests, etc. as this was my initial visit. After receiving the results, Dr Mintz spent the time to review each test result and what it meant. Questioned my current drug regimine and switched things out which better served my conditions. Also received follow up calls when additional results came back. Never received such thorough service before with any of my internists. A real breath of fresh air. I've been going to Dr. Mintz for over 20 years. Dr. Mintz, Dr. P., and their staff are very professional, caring, and a pleasure to deal with. During your appointment, they take the time to listen to you and your concerns, answer all your questions, and have a wonderful bedside manner. Dr. Mintz and Dr. P are two of the most caring doctors. They have the best bedside manner and are very thorough. Their annual physicals have you walking away feeling like you know you are in good health, and definitely in good hands. They make it easy for us who work full time by having evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am so thankful to have them both as my doctors. The assistants are wonderful as well. Dr. Mintz came recommended to my family many years ago. From the very first visit, I knew Dr. Mintz was the primary physician I wanted to use. He took the time to sit with me, listen to me, and got to know me. He is very thorough with all his exams, even goes that extra mile "just in case." Most doctors don't take the time to listen. They are already thinking about the next patient. Not Dr. Mintz. You are his main priority when he is in the room. The office personnel are so helpful and caring, as well. If there is a problem with insurance or paperwork, they will take the time to walk you through on what to do. The nursing staff is well trained and there is never a problem with them taking blood or doing the pre-testing. I recommend this office to anyone that is looking for an internist. Dr Mintz is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had the experience of seeing. His follow up with care for both me and my family has been exceptional. When we were struggling with the idea of having to consider a nursing home for my Grandmother he went above and beyond to gather information and help us through the process. Great doctor if you can make it around his rude staff.

Dr. Mintz and Dr. P are wonderful caring doctors. I have been faithfully going to them for almost 15 years. But, the front desk can be extremely difficult. The attitudes of the girls who make appointments are ridiculous. If this was my practice they would all be fired. Especially the newer girls over the past year or so. I have contemplated switching doctors, just because of how difficult it is to deal with the front desk. I see other doctors and this does not go on. Good dr's very bad staff.

Dr. Mintz's staff is the worst group of medical "professionals" I have ever come in contact with in my life, and are the ones who have ruined this physician's reputation in my book. His collection of nurses who "assist" the patients are unwilling to provide useful information when necessary, and his office was almost impossible to get in touch with.
