Dr. Gabriel Fried

I have been a pilot for 30 yers and have done medicals once a year, to make an appointment I had to spell my name over and over again and the receptionist kept interrupting and then getting my name wrong. and she tells me she has got it right but only reading it wrong. so I had to ask her to spell it for me and had to correct her and ask her to read back and she had something else wrong. and then she kept tell me that they do things differently at this office and kept talking to me as if she was talking to a 8 year old. Called to make an appointment, but the front office lady made it impossible to do so. She was rude and kept talking over my questions for the appointment.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Apparently the physician was unable to evaluate my uncomplicated hypertension and made me go to another doctor to get an evaluation. I guess Dr. Fried isn't a doctor? My prior experiences, I was in and out in thirty minutes for a Class 3. Then the staff lied to me. Strong rec - don't go there. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Dr. Fried has been doing Airman Medicals for a very long time. He is experienced and professional, and is the best AME in Dallas. He even handles the more complicated cases and has the experience to help you stay, safe, legal and in the cockpit. His office even uses the older and more accurate metal leads on his EKG machine, to make sure you don't have false issues with older pilots. You want the best, see Fried. Staff was very rude and unaccommodating. I come from a customer service background and this was just unacceptable.

Now have to use a CPAP because of his lack of support even after my Sleep Dr. doctor said I didn't need one.

This office has great pricing too. As a starving flight instructor that 25% discount he gave will allow me to eat for another month. Dr. Fried and his staff is very trustworthy and fair when doing your medical.

Great AME. I have been seeing him for 15 years and plan to continue seeing him.

Been going to him for a lot of years. If there's an AME out there who can keep me in the cockpit, it's Dr. Fried. Don't play around with your medical. Go to the best.

Good AME to trust. Have been going to Dr. Fried for 20 years. As an major airline pilot you need trust. He and his staff are wonderful.

Dr. Fried is the best! My medical is priceless, it is my career and I wouldn't trust it in anyone else's hands. As long as Dr. Fried is in practice I will be going there. I have never heard a bad breath spoken about Dr. Fried or his office staff from all the other airline pilots that I know that use him.
