Amazing and humorous doctor. Always let’s patients feel comfortable and explains the procedure in easy language. My ingrown nail removal was quick and painless. Definitely recommend if you have any foot issues. Doctor Sherman is real deal and knows his craft very well!

My teenage daughter just saw Dr. Sherman this morning for the first time. He is not the first podiatrist we have seen but he's the one we're going to keep bn using! Thank Gd the problem was minor, so we can't really comment on his applied expertise, but: He seems to know what he's doing and he does it well. Highly recommend Dr Gary Sherman! He Has extensive experience in his field, engages with the patient to fully understand the scope of issue at hand and does not rush your visit at all. I had some really bad ulcers on the bottom of my foot. He treated them and kept treating them till the wounds were closed. He is a terrific doctor and a real gentleman! I highly recommend him to anyone with foot issues.

Dr. Sherman is a great doctor. He really takes the time to address all concerns. I was going to another podiatrist and he was terrible, he just kept charging my insurance but did not fix my problem. Dr. Sherman has gone above and beyond! 100% recommend!

I had my right foot surgery done a few years back now but anyone who ever ask me or has problems with there feet I send to Dr. Sherman he is the BEST makes you feel comfortable & does this out of his heart unlike many other doctors. My surgery he did so well I barely have a scar and hardly had any pain after surgery and that is with having a plate & screws put in foot he made sure I was more then ok before leaving the hospital.. I highly recommend I’m going back this up coming January to see about doing my left foot surgery. While an good Dr, would NEVER return based on office staff's insurance processing. Dr. assured me I would receive a bill if needed for reimbursement, but that the office would submit electronically for me since I met my deductible. Not sure if office biller made an honest or intentional mistake , all I know is THEY received the 100% from United but I was out the $375 I paid. I should have received 70%-office staff refused to fix/ reimburse despite calls to Dr Sherman who kept apologizing

Dr Sherman has been my podiatrist for 37 years when I was 15 I was in a car accident and he treated me for a broken ankle when I was 22 he performed bunion surgery that was 30 years ago and I am still able to wear heels with no pain and my foot still looks and feels great. I've have had many appointments with Dr Sherman since then, He is an extremely caring doctor with a great bedside manner. I always recommend him when anyone asks me if I know a good podiatrist.

Excellent surgeon but not forthright with insurance. He told me point blank that the entire procedure would be 650.00 over my insurance (CIGNA). Now I'm getting hit with 4000.00 dollar bills from the facility he uses (SURGICARE). Considering, how many people have CIGNA in NYC, this can't be the first time he's come across this. That he didn't mention tell me the true costs up front in my case is tantamount to theft.

Poor bad side manner. Bait and switch with insurance.
