Dr. Tynan was outstanding. The morning of my surgery she greeted me with a smile and face revealing confidence that totally put me at ease. She works like an artist, careful to make everything look perfect. Her staff was just as kind and caring as she was, explaining everything and answering every question, never in a rush and calm as can be. Longmont Unnited Hospital staff also did a wonderful job of taking care of me before and after the surgery. They responded immediately whenever I called and were always there for me. Yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Tynan and her staff.

Dr Tynan is the most caring woman I’ve come to know. She always takes her time and goes over every thing. She and her staff are top notch and sincerely interested in you. Thank you Dr Tynan!

Dr. Tynan was my moms surgeon for a double mastectomy. She was remarkably kind and showed compassion towards my mom while explaining the procedure and answered all questions with the same demeanor. Thank you Dr. Tynan! My moms surgery went so well! I am in awe. You are simply the BEST!

Dr. Tynan is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever met. She spent almost 2 hours explaining every aspect of my tests and all my options. Her kindness and concern were such a comfort and gave me so much hope when I was truly afraid for my life. I can't thank her enough and I feel blessed to have found her.

I was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer and had just a couple weeks to interview surgeons for my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. I was told Dr. Tynan was a top notch surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. That was not my experience. Dr. Tynan was patient and kind. Then she told me she had to remove my nipples during surgery. She claimed there wouldn't be enough bloodflow to my skin after removing the cancer, so she had to remove more than I wanted. When I questioned why (as I think anyone would do in the scenario), she became annoyed and flustered trying to explain. She also told me I didn't really need them and didn't understand why I would be bothered having them removed. Her exact words were 'I know some people like them but you don't need them'. Maybe some people aren't bothered without them but I'm young and still value my physical appearance, so it was important to me to keep them. I consulted with two other breast surgeons who said removing my skin (and nipples) was absolutely not necessary, and found a plastic surgeon who saved EVERYTHING and achieved excellent results. I'm so glad I didn't choose to work with Dr. Tynan. Dr Tynan noticed an irregularity on my breast imaging which resulted in an additional malignant tumor. She worked diligently with radiologist Dr. Hilarie Gutierrez to identify & remove the tumor. I am forever grateful to Dr Tynan for her tenacity and to her office for top notch care. This group is the best!!

In June of 2020 during a routine mammogram they found a rare triple negative HR2 growth. The radiologist recommended Dr. Tynan. She and her staff have been remarkable from day one. Now 8 months later with treatment and surgery I am cancer free. I highly recommend her .Thank you Dr. Tynan

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Tynan.....she made, what can be a devastating issue, so comfortable and easy. Her “bedside manner “ is outstanding. I absolutely feel so so lucky that she was my Dr. when I needed her. I love how down to earth she is, she’s very straight forward without being abrasive. You definitely know all the information you need to make the best decisions after talking with her. She’s definitely a 5 star Dr in my book. Dr. Tynan and her staff are outstanding! Dr. Tynan focuses on the individual by NOT using a one size fits all. She is thorough and explains things in such a way that an average, educated person can understand them (you should see some of the medical verbiage!). Her close association with the local hospital also helps in keeping all records, appointments, and bills organized. If anyone is in search of an über competent and experienced breast surgeon, then this is the office you want to visit!

Just a check up

Dr. Tynan has managed my care for breast cancer since November, 2020. She performed a double mastectomy & has treated subsequent seromas & infections. She is caring, a talented surgeon, extremely committed to the best outcome for her patients & we trust her completely. Every nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist, PA & PT we have encountered throughout my treatment has raved about how great Dr. Tynan is at what she does. We completely agree. We are very grateful for the entire team of caring professionals at RMCC!!

I can unequivocally say that Dr. Tynan is the best doctor I've ever seen. She is not only kind and caring, she takes the time to review and explain x-rays, tests, etc. to make sure that you fully understand your situation and can make informed decisions. When first diagnosed, I didn't want to make the hour drive to her office. Now, I can say that it was well worth it. Dr. Tynan and her entire staff are what all doctors and staff should strive to be.

In December of 2018 i found out i had brest cancer under went a double mastecomy. Was very caught off guard about this but managed to deal with it through all of the help from everyonr from the very front of the office to the nurses to my dr. They all helped me through the whole process . Everyone there at this office derserves an award They were and are very empathic and symphtic to every situation that i went through. I have never been to a doctors office that i looked forward to going to weather good or bad ,but i can honestly say i enjoy going there.. lol.. i still have more surgery and i know that they will be there for me i have all the confienced in the world that they will follow up with me . Dr Tynan - as crazy or cheesy as this will sound - the woman absolutely glows. Her caring spirit radiates. I woke up from a double mastectomy to hardly any pain at all. The nurses said they can always tell who are Dr Tynan's patients simply by how quickly they recover. Amazing doctor, amazing woman and her nurse Michelle went above and beyond to help. Will forever be grateful I was sent their way

Smart, well educated, excellent surgeon. My experience with. Dr. Tynan was beyond expectations. She has excellent bedside manner, putting me at ease regarding my operation without giving me false hope. I was encouraged to ask questions without being me made to feel stupid. Highly, Highly recommend Dr. Tynan!! Excellent Dr. Gave me all my options and then supported my choice. Excellent surgery experience. Very proactive and offered great preventative education before surgery to prevent problems after surgery. My scars look excellent and have even had other doctors comment on how good the outcome. Also very nice aftercare. Lots of great, well organized, information provided. Office staff is wonderful!!

I have been loyal to Avista Hospital for years. My screening mammography led to an ultrasound guided biopsy, which ultimately required surgical consultation. I was told about 3 surgeons at Avista who do breast cases. I chose Dr. Tynan for obvious reasons that I wanted woman, and she only does breast. She is meticulous and kind. Her staff is excellent. The day of surgery was scary, but the staff throughout the whole process was extremely supportive. I highly recommend.
