I have been treated by many physicians at some of the most esteemed hospitals in the US/world, including Duke, Mass General, Mayo Clinic, Brigham & Women's, UNC-CH, and UAB. My experience and treatment with Dr. Karouni was absolutely world-class in every facet of care. He is, far and away, the finest physician that I've seen at any clinic. Period.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had visiting a doctor. I had a severe fever, cough producing mucous, shortness of breath, fatigue and vomiting. Dr. Karouni chuckled at me and called it a bad cold. I was later diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia. The health clinic at my university said they were familiar with Dr. Karouni, and had nicknamed him Quack Karouni for his poor manner and diagnoses. Never never again.
