After two decades of seeing Dr. Berman, he dropped me as a patient for two missed appointments in one year. After having my third baby, I was suffering from severe postpartum depression and anxiety. Having never had this with my first two and even being in the healthcare field myself working with pregnant mamas and postpartum mamas, I couldnât fully recognize the things in me that I help other mothers with daily. Now that Iâm finally functioning and able to get out of bed and be a functional member of society again, I just want to steer women who may be postpartum away from Dr. Berman. His own receptionist was incredibly surprised and double checked with him to see if he knew who he was dropping. Itâs mind boggling to me that a man who pulled me into his private office for an extended visit just a couple months before because of the great concern in my mental health, would feel comfortable dropping a patient who was very clearly struggling. Heartbreaking, really.

Dr. Berman has been my primary physician for more than a decade, and I can't imagine a doctor more suited to my needs and expectations than him. His examinations are thorough; he gives me his fullest attention; I never, ever feel rushed away from his precious office time; and he is as warm and caring a physician as anyone could hope to have. Here's a doctor who actively cares about what I do when I'm not in his office. And he has a fine sense of humor! Dr. Berman: The Best of the Best!
