Prior to my surgery with Dr. Rock I had a disfigured and dysfunctional second toe which was floppy due to a missing middle phalange, and my big toe was bulbous at the joint. Both conditions were the result of past surgeries gone badly from different podiatrists. I was extremely reluctant to seek further surgery and reconciled to live with what was at times painful and painful to look at. After living like this for over a decade I began googling podiatrists and reading reviews. Fate had it that I decided to see Dr. Rock after reading so many good reviews. To make a long story short, here I am today, a little over three months post-surgery with a straight second toe, no longer with a missing phalange, and a big toe without a bulbous joint. This is the second time I've gone to Dr Rock (he performed surgery on my right bunion 17 years ago & I haven't had any issues. Dr. Rock is truly sent from God ! A few days before my surgery Dr. Rock texted me to ensure all was well , of course me being the last minute person that I am, I hadn’t gotten my medical . Dr Rock immediately arranged an appointment with his affiliates to ensure I received a thorough clearance . The process went seamlessly On surgery day , I was welcomed by the most professional , warm and caring staff . The initial walk in when having surgery determines everything regarding your nerves . The warm welcome really helped ::) thank you ! Dr. Rock arrived ,again reminding me of the procedure ensuring I’d be ok going home ( to PA) . We talked and laughed until the anesthesia kicked in , before you know it the surgery was finished . Dr Rock refused to let me leave until every bit of normal circulation to my feet occurred . I was watching a TV advertisement for a Podiatrist as I am residing in Atlanta now. Dr. Gregg Rock came to mind from almost 30 years ago.i was probably one of his newest clients in the 90's. I was recommended to Dr. Rock by a girlfriend who had both bunions removed. It was something I had been wanting to do for so many years, and the moment I walked into his office I knew I was in good hands. This was my first surgery, and like the other reviews I have read, I felt no pressure whatsoever to do anything during our consultation or at any time during our communication. Dr. Rock gave me straight and specific information. He was kind, patient, considerate, competent, he was an utter professional, not a salesperson. He is extremely easy to communicate with and gave me the full story about what to expect, the risks, and the benefits of the procedure. This was my first surgery and I would not have gone through with it with any other doctor. It was Dr. Rock or nothing! I had heard that he was amazing from two friends and set up a consultation. During the initial consultation he showed me x-rays of my bunions (on both feet) and explained what my options would be. There was never any pressure from him to proceed with surgery but once he explained that bunions get worse over time, I knew that I didn't have a non-surgical option that made sense for me. The operations took place two weeks apart just about one year ago. I didn't experience ANY pain after the operations. I had confidence because knew I was in great hands and Dr. Rock checked on me via text very regularly. On the day of surgery I showed up having had breakfast, although I was called twice and reminded not to eat. Dr Rock explained my opinions & because of his nursing staff’s support, I decide to have him operate my bunion with local anesthesia. I did not feel any pain during or after the procedure. Had bunion surgery 2017 with Dr Rock... Right foot done first.. Didn't have one day of pain and was back to work in 6 days (im a hairstylist)... Left foot was done 2 weeks later... Again, not one day of pain (no meds needed) and back to work again in 6 days...I recommend Dr Rock to everyone!!! I personally had a wonderful experience getting both my feet done for bunion/hammertoe surgery by Dr. Rock. Walking in as young patient, not knowing exactly what to ask- Dr. Rock made sure to educate and list all possible risks, pros, cons, and all possible information in between before getting my consent to do the surgeries. Not only that, but he also made sure that my lifestyle during the weeks of recovery would be fitting for the recovery time before agreeing to do it. (For example: if I planned on going on vacation/if my job required me to run around....) Then on the day of the surgery the office provided a free car service to and from the surgery center. Besides that, Dr. Rock makes himself as available as he can for any possible questions/situations that might arise over the course of your healing process. Having that sort of communication ensured that as I healed I felt confident that things were healing correctly. Dr. Rock is nothing short of amazing. He’s changed my life so much, I’m now comfortable wearing open toe shoes. Dr Rock was helpful from the time I called inquiring about the procedure. I got both my 2nd toe hammer toes done & had no complications. Dr. Rock explained in detail the risks and benefits. He helped me understand what the underlying issue was and how it could be fixed. Post surgery he texts to check up on me, AMAZING! I didn’t have any complications and little swelling. Dr Rock performed hammer toe surgery for me 1.5 years ago. I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Rock. He truly cares, has deep compassion for his patients...he treats all patients like family... He listens well, provides positive feedback and is kind, loving and provides the utmost level of professionalism. Dr Rock was amazing. I had hammer toe surgery 8 weeks ago and never had any pain whatsoever. My toe is perfectly straight and the results far exceeded my expectations. I can now wear shoes and be pain free. Had I known this I would have done this surgery years ago. I would highly recommend Dr. Rock. My experience with Dr Rock was exceptional. He did exactly what he said he would, I experienced minimal pain and quick recovery. He was very responsive, texting me in the days immediately following the surgery and responding to all of my questions right away. I cannot say enough good things about him and his staff - true professionals!

After months of treatment with another doctor I opted for a second opinion and visited Dr Rock. All it took was one visit to permanently address my Achilles Tendinitis. I am forever grateful.

I had my bunion surgery in December 2014 in order to start running again (I had been running marathons competitively prior to my decision to get surgery). Post op, my feet still hurt a lot, but I figured it was normal that early after the surgery. About a year later, I was having pains in many different areas of my feet (namely my sesamoid area and bunion area) and was not back to running. In addition, while my right foot looked corrected, my big toe on my left side was crossing under all of my other toes, and my left bunion area was still very much extended. After seeing multiple orthopedists since my surgery, almost every doctor I have seen has recommended I have my left foot redone and that the surgery under-corrected the issue and did not address the existing issues. Almost 5 years post-op, I am not back to running again and am looking at more surgery. I would not recommend Dr. Rock to anyone. I would Highly recommend Dr Gregg Rock to have your bunions and hammertoes done. I am an OR nurse who stands 12 hr shifts at a time and even in my Dansko clogs my feet always hurt. He was referred to me by several other of our nurses at our hospital who have all had great results and experiences. I had both my feet done 2 weeks apart this past January 2018 and never took any pain meds, walked immediately with no crutches and was back to light jogging in just 6 weeks. His techniques appear to be less invasive than most I have personally seen here in the OR and even does a cosmetic skin closure with no stitches to be removed. Dr Rock spends so much time in the initial consultation explaining the anatomy and procedures with all the risks and gave me realistic expectations. Dr Rock does not push surgery and he even put me off for some time because of what I do for a living and put fear into me for a lengthy recovery with possibility of complications that may significantly delay my return to work and activities. He texted me for days immediately following both surgeries and made himself available anytime via phone,, texts and emails with immediate replies each and every time. Dr Rock made me feel like I was his only patient with his incredible compassion. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gregg Rock. My husband is a surgeon, so I was over-the-top picky about finding the right surgeon to address my bunions and hammertoes. After a year of searching for a talented, experienced surgeon whose career focused on treatment of hammertoes and bunions, I found Dr. Rock:the consummate professional (detail-oriented, direct, straight-shooter, compassionate), outside-the-box-thinker, incomparable diagnostician, ahead-of-the-curve/state-of-the-art doctor.

I had a food surgery two month ago. What can I say about Dr. Rock...He is not just a doctor - he is magician. Firstly, I never had pain-not at the beginning, not at the end. Secondly, doctor was on text message with me twice a day. If you have any question, he is answering right away. Did you see this days many doctors like this? I did not! Besides his perfect ethical manners, he has hands of gold. Can't wait to operate my second foot. Thanks Dr. Rock, thanks from the bottom of my heart.

My mother, 82 years old in excellent shape, after an internet search found Dr Rock for a foot problem. ( He said that what he could offer her was orthodics to align her spine, and took a mold of her feet.) After returning 2 weeks later to pick up the mold and insert them in her tennis shoes, she wore them and developed a limp from practically day to night. I cried that whole night. She now sways when she walks, and is trying to correct the problem developed by the orthodics, with a physiatrist.
