Gregory Castillo

Doctor Castillo has been my doctor for about eight years. I've been experiencing excruciating pain in my shoulder. Doctor Castillo gave me a cortisone shot about six months ago. That relieved my pain. I went fully expecting that he would repeat the shot. He wanted to take another X ray and refer me to an orthopedic. Needless to say I'm not happy as I'm still in pain. He flatly refused to five the shot. His solution was to provide stronger pain medication. Really I had a liver transplant in 2017 and that's your solution? On that subject during the physical examination he stated my liver was enlarged. Inasmuch as all of my scans indicate my liver is healthy. Then he said well that's to be expected with the cirrhosis. Wait what? Did you miss that I had a transplant and no more cirrhosis. I think he must have hit his head or something while on vacation. The past few visits he's been really off. Needless to say I'm moving on to another Doctor.

Dr. Castillo has been my father's, my brother's and my doctor for over 20 years, and he has taken extremely good care of us. He has gotten us in immediately when we are sick, and follows up when needed.

Awful, ignored previous medical files I had sent over, said there was so much it would take to long to read. Changed my prescription without consultation and only ordered one vile when I need eight. Could have resulted in death! Never said sorry. Decided to reduce my meds stating it was new guidelines which was a lie and proved it when I asked him to show me the guidelines, he couldn't. Asked me when my last physical was, it was given by him three month earlier he had not idea, horrible MD.
