Dr. Grigory R Goldberg

I’ve had more than a few spine surgeries by Dr. Goldberg. He’s the reason I can walk at all. No cane! No walker! My spinal cord was damaged by the broken discs rubbing it. I recently went to see Dr. Goldberg feeling down. Little does he know, he changed my complete attitude that day. I was looking to find a way to relieve some pain I’ve been experiencing. He gave me options, but it’s what he said that mattered. He told me I was a miracle. What a great way to view the remaining years I have. Thanks again doc.

Dr. Goldberg was great. He knew exactly what was needed and through surgery fixed my problem. He always made sure to let me know that if I had any questions or concerns that I should call him. I highly recommend him.

Had a 1:00pm appointment. He came into the room at 2:05pm. I was having severe back spasms. Was told injections. I said no. PT. He spent 5 minutes with me. He was very preoccupied and disinterested. The PT script was not sent.

The Doctor wasn't interested in my case since he became aware that I wasn't eligible for surgery due to underlining conditions. As a result he was curt and not responsive to questions and suggestions for improving my situation. My wife was listening to the visit on the phone (she wasn't allowed in person due to the virus) and agreed with my evaluation of the visit. I would never go back to him again.

The first time I went to see him he made me feel comfortable and took his time explaining everything I needed to know or asked. When I had the surgery him and his team was very nice, friendly and patient with me knowing I was terrified. I will recommend him to anyone who wants an excellent doctor. He is Absolutely great.

Dr. Goldberg explained what he could do for me should I need him. I was happy with my meeting with him. Now when the time may come I have a highly sensitive and caring doctor.

Dr. Goldberg is a top of the line spine surgeon. I met with him this week for my excruciating pain. He reviewed my mri, did his own xrays and examined me. Dr. Goldberg is knowledgeable, has a very impressive education and background . He spends sufficient time with you and answers all questions and your concerns. I went to him looking for answers and possible solutions and he gave me choices. I have family members who he helped with surgery. I have a chance at a better less painful life now and will have the surgery in 3 weeks. Dr Goldberg is by far a 5 star surgeon.I highly recommend him.

If you are looking for a understanding , kind, compassionate , professional in spinal surgery Dr. Gregory Goldberg is your doctor on April 17 he performed a bulging disc lumbar surgery on me promised to take my pain away and he did. Today I am now pain-free, doctors normally get five stars Dr. Gregory deserves a 100 stars and I am very grateful for what he has done for me thank you very much Dr. Goldberg .Karen Bossack

Dr. Goldberg was attentive, performed a number of tests and was confident in his diagnosis.

I had a piece of a disc break off and lodge itself against the nerves (very painful!). Dr. Goldberg successfully removed the piece of disc and I am on my way to recovery. I am very pleased with Dr. Goldberg and AOSMI.

I strongly recommend Dr Goldberg and Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine I had loss of strength and atrophy in my right arm due to pinched nerves in my neck requiring anterior cervical discectomy with fusion C5,C6&C7 He and his office were completely on top of all my needs from insurance to scheduling with all necessary facilities and medical professionals This has been my best experience working with a health care provider

Dr. Goldberg was understanding of my pain. He explained what could be done and explained everything. I felt very confident in him and his staff. They are very efficient which made for a very good experience for me. He spoke to me before the surgery and again afterwards so I always knew what to expect during the surgical procedure and the recovery steps. I highly recommend Dr.Goldberg as a caring,understanding and great surgeon. My pain from the problem is gone and I am ready for therapy.

Dr. Goldberg became my spine surgeon put ely by luck. I was taken to the emergency room and he must’ve drawn the short straw. Boy was I lucky. This man is amazing. The staff runs the shop in an orderly and time sensitive manner. Dr. Goldberg was assigned my case when I had no use of my arms andlegs. He told me what I needed to do and explained before the surgery. He has operated on my spine 3 times. He has hands of gold and an easy way about him. I walked 2 miles this morning. Thank you doc!

Dr. Goldberg is an excellent surgeon. After being admitted to the hospital for an infection and abscess in my spine, Dr. Goldberg was assigned my case. His knowledge, composure and confidence let me know I was in the right hands. He performed spinal fusion from C5 to C7 while removing the abscess and damaged vertebrae without any issue. It has been more than 6 months and I feel great. I really can't thank Dr. Goldberg and his team enough.

After searching and searching for the right Dr. to see if I could have some relief for the pain that I have had on my lower back and no movement on my left foot and toes. I finally found the perfect on. After a recent fall my pain was excrutiating. Dr Goldberg did extensive research to pinpoint was was goin on with me. after epidural shots,we decided to go for Lumbar fussion. It was the best decision ever. He is incredible. I would recomend Dr. Goldberg to any one with chronic back problems.

Courteous easy going and conservative

I have a great deal of pain in my lower back. I randomly chose the practice and was very pleased that I did. Everyone, from the front desk to the assistants to the medical staff to check out were all caring, kind, and professional.

I had been suffering from debilitating hip and leg pain for quite some time. As soon as Dr. Goldberg saw my recent MRI, he said I needed surgery immediately. When I got to the hospital, Dr. Goldberg expedited the admissions process. All the tests were quickly run for my admission. In just a few hours, I was in the operating room. When I woke up after surgery, I immediately realized I no longer had any hip or leg pain. I could barely believe it. Life altering! I returned home the next day.

Dr. Goldberg was excellent, he was able to identify the problem I was having with envolved no use of my whole right side. After 5 Hours of Surgery he was able to repair the problems. Thank you Dr. Goldberg !!!!!

At 73 back surgery was a daunting idea, but Dr. Goldberg made the experience much easier than I would have thought possible. His outstanding staff along with Dr. Goldberg were extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful caring and ready to answer any questions I had. The operation went as expected and my recovery was much quicker that I had imagied. Thank you Dr. Goldberg

I had multiple issues with my lumbar spine, one severely ruptured disk, two others that were close to rupturing. I lost feeling, and had pain running down my left leg, less on my right. I was basically incapacitated. Dr. Goldberg showed and explained everything to me, I needed surgery, and soon based on the progression of the pressure on the spinal cord. I went in for emergency surgery, it is now 14 days later, pain is gone from my legs. I'm walking up and down stairs without issue.

Dr. Goldberg is amazing. He was highly recommended by a co-worker. At the time of my consultation, he listened to all of my concerns and addressed all of them. He performed my lower back surgery approximately two months ago and I can't believe how much better I feel. Dr. Goldberg is very knowledgeable and I always felt I was in the best care with him. His staff is kind and very friendly! The office is well organized and efficient.

Dr. Goldberg performed my surgery abut 2 years ago. I had severe spinal stenosis. Before the surgery I experienced consistent back pain, and would in fact be woken up in the AM from my back. I have waited for 2 years to review him, to ensure the surgery was a success. From 2 days after the surgery until now I have been pain free, He was professional, very informative and most importantly the surgery as a success. Yes, I would recommend the doctor to anyone.

Dr. Goldberg is a great doctor and very easy to work with. He's very knowledgeable and takes time during every visit to answer any questions or concerns. He's upfront and honest when it comes to your medical care and gives his honest and professional opinions. He performed my anterior cervical discectomy (neck surgery) and everything went according to the plan he laid out in my pre-op, including my recovery. I would refer anyone to him.

Doctor Goldberg diagnosed a herniated disc. He didn't spend the time to explain my condition in detail or make any suggestions about treatment. He just referred me to a pain management doctor and said he'd only get involved if I needed surgery. He had no bedside manner and was rather matter of fact about my situation. Eventually I did need surgery, but went to a different surgeon.

I highly recommend Dr. Goldberg for his expertise in spine surgery. In fact he is one of the leading spine surgeons utilizing laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Goldberg inserted six (6) titanium screws in 3 vertebra and released the main nerve that runs down my left leg. This surgery took 3 1/2 hours. After surgery, I stayed in the hospital over night and walked home the next day. It is now two (2) months and I am pain free. I would say the surgery was a success.

After going the physical therapy route and not finding any relief, I spoke with Dr. Grigory Goldberg about having surgery for my sciatica pain. Dr. Goldberg scheduled me for microdiscectomy surgery the next week. The surgery took about 45 minutes and when I woke up there was instant pain relief. I returned to work in three and a half weeks and six and half weeks later I was in China climbing the Great Wall. If not for the surgery there is no way I could have gone on my trip.
