This dr is God sent great dr and great person very caring for you as a person and patient one of the best I've ever seen.

Absolutely hands down the best staff in 40 years I have ever dealt with. Dwight and Dr Amurano are so kind and knowledgeable. They take the time to answer your questions and really try to help and explain different things and the office staff is also so helpful in accommodating my extra busy school schedule for the kids. I greatly appreciate this office and all their hard work.

I cannot begin to say enough about Dr Amurao and his staff at AVITA. He has been a true blessing to my mom who just recently started to see him as a patient. She has seen other pulmonologists in the past and Dr Amurao is in my opinion by far the best of the best! He has relieved my mom’s unmanaged COPD that she has struggled with for years. He has excellent bed side manner and talks to my mom and my dad who accompanies her to appointments in a way where they both understand everything that is going on with her. He is supportive encouraging and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He is someone who really puts a considerable amount of time and effort into treatments while putting his patient first always. I am so grateful we found him! He also has a very caring and empathetic staff that work with him. His nurses go above and beyond for patients in my opinion. Thank You Dr. Amurao!

Worst doctor’s office I have ever been to. Can’t keep appointments straight. Can’t keep cancellations straight. Went in to talk about pneumonia that was diagnosed by a CNP through a biopsy. He refused to talk about the pneumonia—period. All he wanted to do was discuss COPD, which was not why we were there. Pneumonia was so severe my boyfriend ended up in OSU ICU on a ventilator two days later. Go somewhere else. Worst doctor’s office I have ever been to. Can’t keep appointments straight. Dr. Amurao and his nurse Dwight are amazing! They are both very nice and easy to talk to. Dr. Amurao is very thorough and thoughtful about his decisions.

Dr. Amurao is Amazing! He truly is kind. He takes his time with you. He really listens to you. He's very thoughtful, thorough, and considerate when making his decisions.

Gosh, how we miss Dr. Amurao. There is no replacing him. Prayers with him and his family.

I sure am going to miss him. He was a wonderful Christian man & doctor. I just wish he did not leave his office

Dr. Amurao is a wonderful, caring doctor & I attribute my improved quality of life to him & feel very blessed to have him as my physician. He has never made me feel that he's in a hurry.
