Dr. Gwen H Haas

I have been a patient of Dr Haas’s for many years. She is always very thorough, and listens to what I am talking about. She has actually saved my life twice by referring me to an awesome heart doctor She is always patient, kind and compassionate.

I have been a patient of Dr. Haas for quite some time now. Everything regarding my care has always seemed good until my last visit. I called to schedule an appointment for a physical, and also to discuss with Dr. Haas about the loss of my son and the sadness that I am experiencing. When she came into the room she seemed very much in a rush. She looked me over, ordered my blood tests and a few other tests, and was pretty much gone. I never even had a chance to discuss my state of mind with her. So I left her office feeling very rushed. I waited a few days and called her office again, they called me back and said Dr. Haas wanted me to set up a virtual appointment with her and for me to call them back. I did call back today and they now told me that she wanted to see me in person. She just saw me!!! Why should I have to go back??? I'm already feeling overwhelmed with losing my son recently. Something changed with Dr. Haas. I believe it's time for me to move on and find a new dr. I didn't feel that my issues were resolved by any means. I am very disappointed with the care I received from her and her staff.

When I first saw her she was great and seemed to really care. When I got Covid a couple years ago, she called me back right away and got me taken care of. This year something seemed to change and she doesn’t call me back or even call me about my test results, even when I call after seeing they posted. I had a bad medication interaction and she laughed in my face and said it wasn’t the med and that I need more not less of it and refused to try a different medication. I stopped taking it and the problems I was having went away. I am truly disappointed because I thought I finally had a good doctor that cared about me.

I have had more than exceptional patient care from Dr. Gwen Haas, and her staff!

I was referred to her and another doctor for a follow up after being given hypertension meds at the ER. Guess I picked the wrong doc. She was judgemental, wanted me off legal, prescribed substances I've been on for a long time, and didn't even address the issue I was there for. Spoke to me, a college educated, well spoken adult, like a child. Basically, wasted my whole morning. And her incredibly unprofessional receptionist called me honey 20 times in 3 minutes.

The last few appointments with her has been the worst! She is very judgmental and refuses to actually listen to the patient. Hearing I could of died from not being vaccinated is something that should of never came out of a health care professionals mouth!!!!

Got an appointment in 24 hours, the office staff was very nice, concerned, accomadating.. Dr Haas was very attentive to my issues, heard all I had to say without being rushed, Dr. Haas has an award in hes office as one of America's most compassionate Doctors , by my experience I would say she is America's most compassionate Doctor ,,You will feel very well cared for in this office , If you need a a primary care Doctor in Cleveland, Dr Hass is it

Beautiful attitude! Very knowledgeable! And soooo fashion forward. And the staff was so polite and moved with professionalism.

Dr. Gwen Haas is not only rude and incompetent but lied and stated that I was dismissed from the practice (in the system & all) when in fact she made me so uncomfortable my first visit that I never returned to the practice. I let her know before hand I would be looking for another primary care doctor (my doctor of 17 years retired) and was subsequently hung up on and received a letter that I was dismissed from their practice. Not only is that false but it now flags me in the UH system for my GI and several other specialists (how embarassing?) do yourself a favor and steer clear of her and their practice. All she wants to do is write scripts and pawn you off to other specialists after lecturing you about vaccines. Definitely the worst doctor and experience I’ve ever had. Dr Haas has been my doctor for over 5 years!! She is the most compassionate doctor i have ever known!! She brought my blood pressure down tremendously and now i'm doing great thanks to Dr Haas!!

When I first came to her she said she would always try to help and see me, etc. She said everything you’d want a caring doctor to say. That was two years ago. Since then, she has never seen me or my son. Every issue has been funneled over to urgent care even when it hasn't been necessary. A caring, no non-sense primary doctor that will give you the help you need no matter what. She is an amazing doctor and I’m lucky to have found her! She is relatively easy to get into see, which is a bonus.

Dr. Haas is the kindest, thorough and best primary doctor I know. I am a physician myself so I know many. She has been my doctor for years. I recommend everyone to her with no hesitation.

Dr Haas and her staff are amazing, she is Veteran friendly and attentive to needs of Veterans. I love this doctor and her staff. To the point that I drive from Columbus to see her.

Dr. Haas has come to the aid and support of many of my friends, co workers and family in medical need. Personally, she has given me direction to achieve good health and is compassionate, professional and holds herself to the highest standards imaginable. She is an ambassador of good will for the entire Lake Health system.

I’ve been through many doctors. But Gwen Haas is by far the best. I’m not very trusting of doctors, but Dr. Haas seems to really care. Also very stylish.

Dr. Gwen Haas save my life! I'm at home from the hospital now relaxing. She cares and she values her patients lives. If your having symptoms they do not fall on deaf ears, she will always spring into action for you, and willing to go that extra mile. I have been a patient of Dr Haas for 7 months. She has been very attentive and thorough. She’s very prudent about referring me to a specialist as labs / symptoms warrant

Had to give one star even though none are deserved. I'll definitely look for a new primary care physician after my last couple of visits with Dr. Haas. She's been my doctor for about six years and each year she gets more and more rushed. I used to love the fact that she would listen and take her time and be thorough. My last two visits, she couldn't get out of the room fast enough. She also wouldn't give me a chance to talk at all - constantly talking over me when I was trying to bring something to her attention. If there is something that you want to discuss then she says "We have to bring you back for that". Undoubtedly so that they can bill the insurance company for another office visit. My physical exam was literally no more than five minutes. I had several issues that I would have liked to discuss with her but she ran out so fast that I didn't have time. I'm pretty sure that this is the end of our relationship.

Love Dr. Haas and the entire staff! Friendly and Professional. Dr. Haas always takes the time to sit and answer any and all questions when I come in for a visit, you can tell that the entire staff truly care about there patients. Dr. Haas has been my primary care physician for over 10 years. Her patient rapport is outstanding. As a result of her expertise and referrals I am in excellent health. I have recommended her care to family and friends.

I have now been a patient of Dr. Gwen Haas for 2 years and I am so very happy and satisfied with her. Not only are they organized in her office, I have not had to wait to be seen once my intake is over and that means a lot to me, as that was in the past one of my frustrations. She is so wonderful, personable and always take the time to listen to my concerns & issues and will ensure that she provides a resource if it’s outside her scope of expertise. I appreciate the follow up given to me after an office visit. They are always accommodating if I need to be seen for an unscheduled office visit. She’s a breath of fresh air and it’s a blessing to know that if I need her, she’s only a phone call away. Kudos to my amazing Dr. Gwen Haas.

Dr. Haas is the most phenomenal physician I have ever met. I take my care and the care of my family very seriously and she is the only primary care doctor I can trust with my loved ones. She goes above and beyond for everyone and treats each and every person as if they were family. If I could give her greater than 5 stars, I would. She is truly fantastic.

Dr. Haas recently helped solve our medical problem. My husband was feeling ill with flu-like symptoms and we weren't sure why. She thought that a tick bite had probably caused Lyme disease. He is now on antibiotics and already feeling much better. Thanks for the expert diagnosis!

I have consulted Dr.Haas numerous times over the last 15 years, and she has always been helpful and insightful. She has a knack for diagnosis that is always shockingly accurate. She also usually errs on the side of caution, which I feel has demonstrated her absolute focus on reaching our shared objective: my health.

I’ve had Doctor Hass as my doctor since my days at Kiaser. When she left there to join Lake Health, I changed insurance to stay with her. I think it’s been about 20 years!

My mother has COPD and went in with a bad head cold. Dr. Haas is her primary care physician. Dr. Haas never touched my mother to check her lungs. She was in too much of a hurry. My mom asked if she could check her ears. She said it wasn’t necessary. Now mom is back on full time oxygen & very sick. If the doctor could have taken just a few more minutes to look at her history and check her over. Very saddened & discouraged.

She is the most caring and kind doctor. I've been going to her for 5 years now. I recently went and was in a really bad way (physically and mentally). She handled me with such grace. What an incredible person. Thank you, Dr.Haas.
