Worst customer service of all time. I set an endoscopy with another doctor in the same office which took me 3mths to schedule and they cancelled the day before. Then when I set a visit with Dr. Hashem they cancelled on me five minutes before the appt and told me he wasn't there that day. They wouldnt find me a time for 2mths and when I showed up eleven minutes late, despite waiting more than 30 mins every time I had been there, they cancelled the appointment on me. Aweful experience.

I rescheduled and showed up eleven minutes late and despited waiting more than 30 mins every time I had been there, they cancelled the meeting on me. Aweful experience. Based on other comments in here seems to be pattern. Will find another practice.

I showed up on the appointment that I scheduled with Dr. Hashem and the office said that the doctor is not there and that appointment was created by the error. I told the nurse that I am in pain and had no response. Where is humanity, professionalism? When I wanted to talk to the supervisor, the office personal hung up the phone. I want to write a complaint! Westmed Management Group - please reach out to me! My appointment was scheduled for today at 9:30 am.

Dr Hashem is a caring professional who put me at ease before and after my colonoscopy. He called me at home that night to see how I was doing. His nurse called me the next day to make sure I was feeling well. Dr Hashem called me again the next day to see how I felt and to report on the result of the biopsy. The doctor’s staff is wonderful as well.

He is a competent physician. However, if you want someone with a caring manner, go elsewhere. He looks at his phone while he talks to you during consultations. He can never look you in the eye. He is dismissive when you ask questions about procedures or want to know why he is making recommendations. A scared or confused patient should not have to deal with a condescending physician.

Agree with post below. He is competent but has zero bedside manner. Expect him to look at his phone while he’s talking to you. No patience for patients! Not sure why he wanted to become a doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Hashem by my PCP as I had a positive result from my Fecal Occult test. Dr. Hashem agreed to see me within the next day as I was going away soon on an overseas trip. He was extremely thorough in his examination and discussion with me and outlined a plan of action that included an upper endoscopy and Colonoscopy. This was performed yesterday and I am extremely happy with the help that I received during the preparation for the tests and during the procedures. Dr. Hashem explained in detail the results of the procedures in addition to giving me written reports. He answered all my questions fully, explained the change to the medication that he was recommending and the action plan going forward.Dr. Hashem is an excellent doctor with great bedside manners and empathy. I would rate him several stars higher if that is possible! I highly recommend him for anyone who needs a caring professional gastroenterologist.

The best Dr anyone can ask for. A true Dr. A Dr that truly cares. All Dr's should take after him. Never rushes you. Fully explains everything. Gets back to you immediately. The best.

I was referred to Dr. Hashem by my primary care provider at Westmed Medical Group for my GERD. Dr. Hashem conducted a detailed review of my symptoms, treatments and results of my previous endoscopy. He wasn't convinced of the accuracy of my previous diagnosis and explained what he would be looking for when performing my new endoscopy. The results appears to confirm Dr. Hashem's hypothesis - I do not have Barrett's esophagus. Dr. Hashem is an extremely thoughtful and caring physician.

He is an excellent Dr. I highly recommend him. I had tried other gastroenterologists but they could not do anything for me. He took one look at my xrays and assured me he could fix my throat issues in a 10 minute procedure. These were issues that I had been suffering with for years.
